This week, I bring in members of the newly formed Conservation Coalition of Washington; Mike Herz, Josh Caple, Kelsey Haller, and Cory Maxwell.  We discuss the current state of commissioners of the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. The panel has a lot of inside information as to which commissioners are on the side of hunting and conservation, and which ones aren't. We break down each commissioner, discuss many of the hurdles in the way of hunting in Washington, future proposals, and much more. If you're a sportsman in Washington, these conversations are growing ever more important. Many of the current commissioners in the WDFW are openly hostile towards hunting, and by default, conservation. This puts Washington hunters, anglers, and the wildlife that call Washington home at risk.  I would love feedback on this episode, especially ideas on how to spread the message to a broader audience: jim@thewesternhuntsman.com Show Sponsors! After the last Commission meeting here in Washington Joel Swecker, the owner of Blackriver Taxidermy organized a pint night for those who showed up at the meeting to mingle afterwards. I joined everyone there and showed up with my equipment and invited some hunters who happen to attend the meeting to sit down with me and talk about what they thought about the meeting, and think about the current Climate here in Washington State when it pertains to Hunting.  Joining me for a chat was some local washington hunters and some members of the Conservation Coalition of Washington    Elliott Outdoors https://www.instagram.com/elliott__outdoors/ Conservation Coalition of Washington  https://www.instagram.com/conservation_coalition_of_wa/ Shannen Meaders   Derek Savage  https://www.instagram.com/mountain.savage/ Colton Davis https://www.instagram.com/daviscoltonrose/ Brian Leets  https://www.instagram.com/leetsbrian/ Gary Strassburg https://www.instagram.com/garystrassburg/ Joel Swecker https://www.instagram.com/blackrivertaxidermy/ Scott Bastin https://www.instagram.com/bastinscott/ Lance Bloom    Will Christison https://www.instagram.com/nextgenerationhunter/ https://www.instagram.com/willchristison/
