Ever wondered if Disney's sit-down restaurants are truly worth the splurge? Join us as we uncover the highs and lows of dining at Disney, with an in-depth look at the STK Steakhouse experience. Known for its vibrant, club-like atmosphere complete with a DJ, STK is a hit for some, like our guest Brittany, but can be a bit too lively for those seeking a quieter evening. Explore with us as we discuss how personal preferences can make or break your dining experience, especially in a setting that could either be the highlight or the hiccup of your trip. Our culinary journey continues through the enchanting streets of Disney Springs, where we'll dissect popular eateries like Chef Art Smith's Homecoming and The Edison. Homecoming delights with its famous brunch and mouthwatering deviled eggs, offering a fantastic blend of flavor and price. Meanwhile, The Edison serves up a unique industrial vibe that's great for atmosphere but leaves us with mixed feelings about the food—candied bacon and all. Hear our candid takes on these venues, and perhaps save yourself from a disappointing meal.Wrap up your virtual tour as we visit Disney's Wilderness Lodge and more, showcasing unique dining experiences from Steakhouse 71's acclaimed Stack Burger to the playful and hearty fare at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Whether you're intrigued by the bison cheeseburger or curious about Ohana's ukulele-filled dinner, our insights aim to guide you in choosing the right spot for your next Disney adventure. Let us be your guide through this gastronomic wonderland, ensuring you pick the dining experiences that best fit your taste and expectations. Please Check Out Our Links Below: Our Sponsor:www.mainstreettravelco.com Email Us:circleofparks@gmail.com Our Website:www.circleofparks.com Facebook:www.facebook.com/circleofparks Instagram:www.instagram.com/circleofparks X:www.x.com/circleofparks Products we use: Our equipmentMicrophones: https://amzn.to/3T61oD5 Recorder: https://amzn.to/3Ibl4iuBluetooth Adapter: https://amzn.to/4a2MIufMicrophone Stand: https://amzn.to/3wrOrdSGoPro: https://amzn.to/3uT6RUlCable Organization: https://amzn.to/49oQAFUhttps://amzn.to/4bKe7CJhttps://amzn.to/3T5T1HEHeadphones: https://amzn.to/42S5FgG Our Favorite Disney Books:Buying Disney's World: https://amzn.to/3T6z57AThe Disney Story: https://amzn.to/3T8j0hHThe Wonders of Walt Disney World: https://amzn.to/3wrLVErMeet the Disney Brothers: https://amzn.to/42RqxodPresenting Disneyland: https://amzn.to/3uIUqdISend us a textSupport the show

Bryan and his daughter Mia run down their experience at Whispering Canyon Cafe. We start by discussing what we did to get to the Wilderness Lodge from the Polynesian Resort. Taking a Lyft definitely helped with this experience. We then talk about the tremendous lobby at the Wilderness. We talk about visiting the Carolwood Pacific room and looking for Hidden Mickeys while we waited for our table. Its such a great resort with many things to occupy you while waiting. We finally sit down at our table and discuss the shenanigans from the wait staff, the ketchup, the large sodas and eventually get around to the breakfast skillets full of delicious typical breakfast food, but certainly the Mickey Waffles! We finish up with a birthday celebration and how we then moved on to the Animal Kingdom. After our review, Mia goes rogue and wants to talk about Hoop dee doo revue. We discuss some of the fun we had at this experience and the food they served there. Finally, Mia gets around to talking about Ohana and some of the experience we had at dinner. We'll cover the food, the ambience and that we were able to listen to Happily Ever After during dinner. Ever find yourself craving the boundless energy of the Wild West while digging into a mountain of breakfast goodness? That's exactly what we experienced at Disney's Whispering Canyon Cafe, and we're here to rustle up all the details in our latest podcast episode. Join Nolan and me as we gallop through the ins and outs of this rambunctious dining adventure, from the Pioneer skillet piled high with breakfast classics to the carnivorous dinner options that left Ryan in a meat-induced state of bliss. We're not just talking about a meal; we're sharing an experience that's as entertaining as it is satisfying, with servers dishing out humor as tastefully as they serve up those endless skillets.Saddle up for a rowdy recap where we chew over the value of the Disney Dining Plan for both breakfast and dinner reservations. While the edibles may not be revolutionary, the charm and character of the Wilderness Lodge's Whispering Canyon Cafe sure are—and we'll tell you why a penny spent here is a penny spent on memories. The playful service, including the notorious "ketchup gig," adds a dash of delight to the dining escapade. Whether it's celebrating a birthday or simply soaking in the atmosphere, we're here to recommend with a wink and a nod why this spot should be on your Disney dining roundup, especially when the sun sets and the dinner bell rings. Please check out our links below:Our Sponsor:www.mainstreettravelco.comEmail Us:circleofparks@gmail.comOur Website:www.circleofparks.comFacebook:www.facebook.com/circleofparksInstagram:www.instagram.com/circleofparksX:www.x.com/circleofparksSupport the show
What do you get when you mix the Oregon Trail with family friendly antics and Dicks Last Resort ? Well, you get the quietest little cafe in the wilderness. Among the sweeping totems of the Wilderness Lodge Resort's lobby, If you listen closely to the spirits of the Pacific Northwest wood, you can hear the subtle sounds of the elusive ketchup caller. This rare breed will call ever so lightly through the air, "WE NEED KETCHUP!" and then the forest is a buzz with frenzied movement. and just as quick as the commotions started, they wain and once again the clang of fork on skillet can be heard through the forest of Formica tables and chairs. From skillets to 90s decor, we're taking in all the colors of the wind at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Will the fun time antics of cast member's guest retribution be all we can eat or will these bottom-less skillets and milkshakes have us ready to burst like a geyser? ya gotta tune in to find out. The Disney World Rides You’re Supposed to Love - WDW Opinion Ep. 34 A couple weeks ago I posted a photo on Facebook and Instagram. It was of the entrance to it’s a small world. Now this is an iconic attraction for sure but I posed a question in my caption. Do we actually hate it’s a small world or do we really just love to hate it. The response we got was overwhelming. Almost 250 comments later and I realized that the vast majority of people really actually love that ride. It’s funny because that doesn’t always seem to be the case when it comes to classic attractions. Nowadays more than ever Disney attractions are getting bigger, faster, better themed and overall throwing you into areas you’ve never experienced before. It’s an interesting comparison when you have a ride like it’s a small world just down the road from something like AVATAR Flight of Passage. Both are loved by many but for completely different reasons. So this whole line of questioning got us thinking. What are the attractions we are supposed to love? Why are we supposed to love them? And when it comes right down to it, do we actually love it? It’s going to be an interesting discussion we’ll be having this week on WDW Opinion. Plus we discuss the new menu coming to Whispering Canyon Cafe, permits have been filed that will radically change the way Epcot looks, we discuss ticket prices at Disney World, in the main segment we share what attractions we are supposed to love and at the very end of the show we have a big WDW Opinion announcement that you won’t want to miss. Stories discussed in News to Opinion Skillets and Shenanigans – A New Menu Gallops Into Whispering Canyon Café Permit filed to begin transformation of Epcot’s entrance and Future World core The Ticket Saga Walt Disney World Increases Theme Park Ticket, Park Hopper Add-On, and Premium Parking Prices Join the WDW Opinioneers Community Want to learn more about what an Opinioneer is? In this episode of America’s favorite imaginary restaurant, John has been visiting the haunted gym and went on a voyage to specious lagoon. Once again we are back from an unannounced hiatus but this time our lack of content was caused by something much more dire. After Sarah’s ankle reconstruction surgery she spent 4 days in the ICU due to a massive blow clot in each of her lungs. Everything is good now and she is almost back to normal but it was touch and go for a while there. On a lighter note, we were able to check out a few Disney resort restaurants while Sarah was confined to a wheelchair. Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Artist Point Storybook Dining also at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Sanaa at Kidani Village in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

This week Steve Swanson, host of The Muppetcast, joins us to talk about The Muppets. The Muppet Show was revived only to have it canceled again a short while later. Steve joins us to talk about his show, The Muppetcast, that focuses on Jim Henson creations like The Muppets, Fraggle Rock, and Sesame Street. Then we’ll talk about some of the triumphs we’ve seen over the past several years with the Muppets as well as their roadblocks, and then look ahead to discuss the direction Disney seems to be headed in with The Muppets. This week in Disney news, new guest experiences are coming to Disney’s Aulani resort in Hawaii, Walt Disney World theme parks will begin scanning the fingers of children ages 3 and up at the turnstiles, a new massive-sized treat is being served at Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge resort, and more.
