In the 195th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are hoping you came to the show hungry today... because it's all about dinner at Disney. To properly review and discuss as the great dining that was had in the recent agency trip, 3rd co-host #KylaKylaKyla joins to show -- first to give her tips on adults enjoying Disney Jr Live on Stage, and to comment on Animal Kingdom and what is removable. Then a rundown of meals shared together, either with Jenn, Dave, and Kyla all taking part, with just Dave and Kyla and significant others, or Dave and Lovely Steph. Included in this episode is a review of The Yachtsman Steakhouse... Rose & Crown... Raglan Road... Mama Melrose... Shiki Sai in Epcot... The Hollywood Brown Derby... and a quick look at Topolino's atop the Riviera Resort. And along the way, lots of laughs and some nonsense, as does happen when the three get together.

Join us on my DVC Points podcast as we welcome Dani Metzger from DVC Resale Market to examine the latest Disney Vacation Club resale trends for December 2023. Listen in as we tackle Disney's Right of First Refusal (ROFR) current patterns, where a noted decrease in buy-backs leads to a buyer-friendly market. We explore how this lull presents unique opportunities, particularly at the Grand Floridian, and offer insights into recent shifts in average sales prices, with special attention to the slight increase at Polynesian Villas and a decrease at Riviera Resort. Our discussion remains light-hearted yet informative, balancing the nuances of market analysis with the universal quest for that 'bikini body ready' season. Circle of Parks Podcast: Talking all things Walt Disney World
Ever wondered what makes Topolino's Terrace a must-visit spot at Disney's Riviera Resort? We've got you covered in this enchanting episode of our Circle of Parks podcast. With our young foodie guest, Nolan, we'll take you on a delectable journey through the artful and elegant decor, stunning views, and distinct dining experiences that this Disney gem offers. From breakfast with Mickey to signature dinners, uncover the magic that awaits you at this captivating locale. As we saunter through Disney's Riviera Resort, you'll feel the magic of Epcot and Hollywood Studios' stunning views from Topolino's Terrace. Be intrigued by the soft, warm tones and classic European design elements that fill the space, not to mention the artfully hidden Mickey in the light fixtures and the chandeliers that resemble pasta. Nolan, our budding food critic guest, will dish out his thoughts on the mouthwatering menu items - from steak to rigatoni, there's a flavor for every palate.Rounding out our journey, we raise the curtain on a lively debate comparing Topolino's Terrace and Garden Grill, and consider what it might take for Nolan to dress up for dinner. Of course, no Disney adventure is complete without a sprinkle of trivia. We wrap things up with a Disney trivia question that will test your knowledge on the first appearance of Mickey Mouse in Italy. We encourage you to engage with us on social media and share your own Disney experiences and insights. So, get ready to experience the magic of Disney's Riviera Resort through our eyes and Nolan's tasteful insights! Please check out our links below:Our Sponsor:www.mainstreettravelco.comEmail Us:circleofparks@gmail.comOur Website:www.circleofparks.comFacebook:www.facebook.com/circleofparksInstagram:www.instagram.com/circleofparksTwitter:www.twitter.com/circleofparksSupport the show

Disney After Hours is returning to Walt Disney World in 2024, but is it paid event worth the cost? We share exactly how it works and what you get (and don't get) to help you decide if it's worth the money for you and your family.Disney After Hours Events Return to Walt Disney World Resort in January 2024But Whether They're Worth it for You Depends on One ThingDisney After Hours events coming back to Walt Disney World kicking off on January 10 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, January 11 at Magic Kingdom and February 2 at EPCOT.These separately ticketed events give you three extra park hours to ride rides, visit attractions, meet characters and snack on a few unlimited free treats. Treats usually include popcorn, Mickey ice cream bars or sandwiches and select drinks (non alcoholic) as specific locations in the park.Disney positions Disney After Hours as offering shorter wait times to select attractions and character experiences, but it's important to know that that's not always the case. There may be more dates added in 2024, but currently announced dates and prices are as follows.Disney After Hours Event Dates, Times and Ticket Prices(Ticket Prices in Brackets are Annual Passholder and DVC discount price)Disney's Hollywood Studios: 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 10 - $155 ($125)Wednesday, January 24 - $165 ($135)Wednesday, February 21 - $175 ($145)Monday, February 26 - $175 ($145)Wednesday, March 13 - $165 ($135)Wednesday, March 20 - $175 ($145)Wednesday, March 27 - $175 ($145)Wednesday, April 3 - $175 ($145)Wednesday, April 10 - $175 ($145)Magic Kingdom Park: 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.Thursday, January 11 - $155 ($125)Monday, January 15 - $165 ($135)Monday, January 22 - $165 ($135)Thursday, February 1 - $165 ($135)Monday, February 5 - $165 ($135)Monday, February 12 - $175 ($145)Thursday, February 29 - $175 ($145)Monday, March 4 - $175 ($145)Monday, March 18 - $175 ($145)Monday, April 8 - $175 ($145)EPCOT: 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Friday, February 2 - $149 ($119)Thursday, February 8 - $149 ($119)Thursday, February 15 - $159 ($129)Thursday, March 7 - $159 ($129)Thursday, March 28 - $159 ($129)Thursday, April 4 - $159 ($129)If you have a ticket for an event, you can enter that park starting at 7:00 p.m. Of special note for the Magic Kingdom: a standby line is planned for TRON during Disney After Hours, meaning there will be no virtual queue (which could have been a time saver, as it was during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party). For an event of only three hours, this is a significant change. Also, the Enchantment night time show will be added to Disney After Hours events at Magic Kingdom – meaning on event nights, early arrivals will have the opportunity to see both Happily Ever After and Enchantment. How to Buy Tickets for Disney After Hours Events 2024If you have a reservation booked at a Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels or Shades of Green you can buy tickets (one week before the general sale) starting November 7 by calling 407-W-Disney. Tickets can be purchased online by everyone starting November 14.--Newly Updated Disneyland Adventureland Treehouse Opens on November 10, 2023The Adventureland Treehouse inspired by Disney's Swiss Family Robinson will open on November 10, 2023 in Disneyland Park. Keep reading for new storyline details from our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering and a new piece of artwork coming to the treehouse!Within the updated tree, you'll find the mother's music den, the sons' nature room and the daughter's astronomer's loft. Located on the ground are the kitchen and dining room, plus the father's art studio featrues hand-drawn sketches and paintings of each room.As the story goes, the family created an oasis among the trees inspired by nature and using objects found around them. Next to the stairwell is a waterwheel, powered by a nearby brook. The family uses this and a pulley system to get the water they need into their treehouse. This walk-through attraction should be worth exploring when you visit the park and is likely one of the more overlooked attractions generally.--Disney Skyliner is Closing for Maintenance in January 2024January 16-21 The line between Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Art of Animation and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed. The line between Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Hollywood Studios will be closed.
