Arise With Susan

God has special times and seasons (appointed times) on His calendar and this is one of them. It's time to connect or reconnect with these holy festivals that God has, understand the meaning of them and understand the blessings that are attached to the obedience to His word. The feasts are not a “Jewish” thing; they are part of our inheritance. The word says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge”, God wants to bless you and He wants to bless me. We are drawn closer to him as we connect with His calendar and we are filled with hope. God has hand picked you for your eyes to open as you press in and get revelation on these appointed times with the Lord.   Show Notes: The message here is that Jesus is coming back, it's not just a story.   This is happening real time now. These are not just events in history.  When we start tracking with the Lord's seasons our eyes are opened and we will see how these things will unfold in our lives. In Duet. 16 God is establishing the Feasts because He is reminding the people of the big picture. ‘The Fall Feasts' are in the Hebraic month ‘Tishri' and they consist of:   1. Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) 2. Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) 3. Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles)  This is a New Year, the ‘Head of the Year' on God's calendar, now we have one in America that we are used to, it's January, we all take that time to reflect on our think about:   ·      The things we can change,  ·      Re-evaluate things and  ·      Ask ourselves what we could have done better,  ·      What it was that we didn't do that we will do this year,  ·      Things we can improve on and implement like; go to the gym, lose weight, go to church more, pray more, and tithe more.  I know a lot of Christians say these feasts are “Jewish” feasts and not for us as Christians, but we just read in Leviticus 23 they are the Lord's feasts or festivals.  They are very important to Him, so they should be important to us. The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them:  These are my appointed festivals, the appointed festival of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.  Vs. 4 “These are the Lord's appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times and vs. 23 The Feasts of Trumpets: The Lord said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: “On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of Sabbath rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. 25 Do no regular work, but present a food offering to the Lord. There is so much going on in the unseen/eternal realm right now that we must tap in! It is all of heaven decreeing a fresh presence of the Lord being released into the earth.   JUMP IN! Wake Up! This is an appointed time with the Lord!  We are unlocking truths in God's word as we learn about the times and seasons of the Lord. This is a month of the “Fall Feasts” returning to God and experiencing His glory. We have entered into a major divine appointed time on God's calendar and God has hand picked your eyes to open as you press in and get revelation in these appointed times with Him. The Month of Elul Every year during the biblical month of Elul the Jews blow the shofar everyday for forty days, they do this as a call to the beloved.  Something supernatural happens when the trumpeting, awakening sound is released into the atmosphere as the shofar is blown. We are answering the call to blow the shofar for forty days until ‘Yom Kippur'; which is the ‘Day of Atonement' to arise and burn for the Lord again, to be filled with the zeal of the Lord and for His house. God says when I hear you blowing the shofar; “I will remember you and your enemies will be defeated”!  As we do this we will release the sound over our lives, our children's lives (call them out by name), grandchildren (by name), our jobs, business and finances or whatever God shows us. On this Journey we are preparing our hearts for the Feast Season; ‘The High Holy Days', ‘The Days of Awe', ‘Yom Kippur' and ‘Sukkot' also called ‘Feast of Tabernacles' this is a Moadim; we are in a divine appointment with God.                                                            You may say, “I'm not Jewish, I'm a Christian” I don't have to celebrate the feasts.  You are right, you don't have to but these are not Jewish Feasts; they are God's feasts according to Lev. 23:1-2, “The Lord said to Moses, say to the Israelites, the set feasts or appointed seasons of the Lord which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, even My set feasts… “  They are very important to God. So let's get all our benefits! Jesus came to fulfill the law not to abolish it. It is important to know Jesus attended all the feasts because He knew there were blessings attached to them. Elul is an amazing opportunity to gain understanding through knowing God more through His word. The word of God is given to us to learn and to grow.  We are discovering what our portion of our inheritance connected to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all through the blood of Jesus. When we sound the shofar we will confuse our enemies and they will flee!  Let's give the devil a black eye. Let's sound the shofar and decree in Jesus Name: Jesus became the curse so that I may receive the promise Jesus' DNA is my DNA! I am crossing over and moving into everything God has promised me for His promises are yes and amen. The sound of the shofar will transform me and shift the atmosphere of my home, business, ministry, relationships and my finances. God's forgiveness, grace and mercy abound to me as I repent and return unto good works. I am compelled by His love by the power of His Holy Spirit. My praise will cause me to overcome every obstacle and road-block in my life. God's plan overwhelms the plan of the enemy. I shut down all the negative sounds and it will not affect me. I don't know about you but I have a calendar that I just about live my life by. It tells me what's going on, it tells me what's coming up, tells me what to prepare for. God's calendar is made up of times and seasons, it tells us what to get ready for in order to release our faith on what is in that time frame.  If we track with Him in this we will learn how to move in wholeness in our body, soul and spirit because He is speaking through this time frame. God wants us aligned with Him in covenant. He wants to understand that we are His bride and embrace it and have revelation of it in ways we haven't had before.  He wants us to have what He has given to us. He wants us to take it and advance His work on the earth.  Each month on God's calendar we study the characteristics and a Hebrew tribe so that we can track with Him. The Tribe for this month is Rueben. And each tribe was named after Israel's sons and Rueben was the first-born, Gen. 29:31 Reuben comes from the root word “to see”. We really need to make sure we guard our heart and our eyes.  What we watch, what we look at, “what are we focusing on?'  This one commentary I was reading said, “See only that which is good and modest (in the world in general and in our fellow man in particular).The ability to guard and focus one's eyesight correctly is the rectified (correct, put right, refine or purify)“sense” of sight.  Focus on the GOOD!  The scripture for this month is Duet. 11:26  “Behold (see) I set before you today a blessing and a curse; the blessing is life and good; the curse would be death and evil.”  Duet. 30:15-19,  “See, therefore I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you possess. “But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear and are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.  I call heaven and earth as a witness today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” Basically what this is saying, see good, see life, “train your eyes” rectified eyesight.  See good and choose it and you will not be miserable.For the children of Israel Tammuz is historically known for tragedy, say, ‘Not for me'. We are going to make each day of this a “Day of Destiny”. Have vision, new vision, and new eyes.  You might want to look at some things again.  You might have missed something; you may see some things you haven't seen before.  Ask God to show you. Mental illness has been in the shadows and not really talked about but is very prevalent, so many people young and old struggle with it, and right now it has been increasing because of the shut down with COVID people are isolating, there’s much financial stress, they hearing misinformation from the media and there are those who are experiencing grief and loss that are lonely and truly afraid. My guest Millie Joy Radosti suffered from mental illness, she was depressed, oppressed; tormented with anxiety, she was legally disabled, in and out of homeless shelters and she could hardly function in life. Today we will share with you how she overcame it all! Welcome to the month of ‘Sivan’ the third month of the twelve months on the God’s calendar.  This is a month of EXPECTATION AND PROVISION!  Let your Expectation move you into position for Revelation and Provision!  I’m very thankful God gives us a prophetic view of what each month of the year is about.  You too will find it will help you with your focus and how to pray into things for your life, your family, your business and your ministry and hit the mark in every situation. We have just come out of the month Iyar, which is: transition, we connected with God and He revealed He is our provider, healer and victory over our enemy through it all, we discerned the time and we regained some strength.  We have been preparing our hearts to receive the word of the Lord just like the Israelites prepared to receive the ‘Torah’. For us this is the day the Holy Spirit and fire was poured out as it talks about in Acts 2. Acts 2, ‘and when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in this place.  And Suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.' They were filled with the Holy Spirit and fire! Take the challenge, I did! The body of Christ needs to step up!  We have been passive way too long! We are called to be a light in the darkness. In my interview with Nora Ellen we talk about how we can be an influence in our community and state.  Those who are at the top or those who surround the top can shape the agenda that forms nations and influence those who shape policies.   We have spent so much time focusing on the church mountain that we have forsaken our responsibility to the rest of the world we are called to influence.  The role of the church is to disciple and send out not to keep those that can influence their spheres in the church walls. We are getting real today folks! Today Jamie Lyn and I are going to talk about bringing the light into darkness! It’s PASSOVER season! A very special time on God’s calendar. This is a month of redemption, repentance and beginning of miracles! This PASSOVER IS very key to our very own lives and a Key to revival! It’s one of the most important months of the year on the Biblical calendar. Old things have passed away and behold He is doing a new thing!  We are blessed when we enter into what God is doing. This is an amazing appointed time with the Lord. The month of Nissan holds some great things for us if we tap into them! I am always excited when I can come and teach you about what I am learning about the Jewish roots and the appointed times we have with the Lord and the benefits we have from them. We are in an appointed time right here, right now as we enter into the season of Passover; God is resetting and realigning us.  We need to take advantage of this time with Him because there are rich benefits available to us. In real time next week on Sunday March 14th we enter into the Hebrew month of Nisan, which is the month of Passover and the Resurrection of Jesus and fifty days later is Pentecost. This is a time where impossible situations are overturned by decrees! I know many of us need this right now!   When Adar comes in our joy is increased so fear has to go! It’s a great month as we prepare to enter into the next Hebrew month of Nissan; the first of the months; which is the season of Passover. We are learning together that every prophetic month has its own meaning and purpose in God’s prophetic plan and that as Christians because of Jesus we are a part of the Jewish family, we have been grafted into the benefits of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Every month the Jews would get together and celebrate first fruits to honor the Lord and seek Him for revelation for the month ahead. They knew that if they could stay in God’s timing and align themselves with it they would be blessed.  It is God that determines times and seasons, but our enemy (yes we have an enemy) Satan he tries to change them. Getting us out of time is one of the most effective tools the enemy uses against us. That’s why the Lord wants us to understand the months so we can recognize God’s cycles in the earth. There is seedtime and harvest and having this revelation will move us into the fullness of His plan.  So let’s get into God’s timing and His alignment so we don’t fall for the enemy’s tactics to keep us out of it. Well, it’s that time again we have entered into a new prophetic month on God’s calendar. Together we are learning that each month holds something special for us and if we align ourselves with it we can get all our benefits from it. I am so excited!   Welcome to the Biblical month of Sh’vat the month of the trees, this month our roots go deeper in Jesus!  This month holds great things for us!  It is the month of oil, the month of anointing, the month of the word of God.  A good month filled with blessings as we are rooted and grounded in our faith in Jesus.   We are continuing to learn what our inheritance is through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! Sh'vat is the eleventh month on God’s calendar.  The number eleven represents transition, so that means there is great grace for your transition. This is a month to immerse ourselves in the word of God and as we do this we become those carrying the pail full of the Holy Spirit.  For out of our bellies rivers of Living Water will flow continuously. This is also a month of increase, light, joy, hope, prosperity and happiness. It’s a time to taste and see that the Lord truly is good. Right at the beginning of 2021 let’s take off the limits. Jesus is on the throne and the devil is a liar! Get ready for an injection of peace and hope in the storm! He is Jesus, Emmanuel God with us and Prince of peace, He brings the peace that passes all understanding, peace to the storms that are raging. Christmas is upon us, a time the whole world celebrates Jesus. Yes it is a pagan holiday but if the whole world is celebrating Him I’m going to celebrate with them.   Yes 2020 has been a year folks, there has been pain, loss, despair, devastation we cannot deny that but God is truly working in the unseen realm.  We are keeping our eyes fixed on Him and watching for the signs along the way!  This is the season to be filled with hope and peace in the midst of a storm because of the gift of Jesus.   Scriptures: Luke 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." The eyes of the Lord roam to and fro to show Himself mighty those whose hearts are loyal to Him.  God wants to move mightily in our lives, let’s give Him something to work with. Heart check time, will God see a loyal heart? Together we are discovering the blessings of each prophetic month on the God's calendar. Susan teaches that each month highlights important spiritual truths and aspects from the Hebrew tribes, the senses, the body parts, the scriptures and Hebrew letters along with what God is saying about the month we are currently in. Each Biblical month has letters, numbers and certain characteristics. Welcome to the prophetic month of Tevet 5781! The Hebrew tribe is Dan. There are 12 months, so there’s a tribe for each month. We will find out their strengths and weaknesses.                      God operates in times and seasons for us that’s why He created the sun, the moon and the stars, we are talking astronomy not astrology. Each month a constellation is highlighted and this month the Constellation is Capricorn – the goat and it has to do with alignments, goat nations are not in covenant with God. Ask God about your alignments. The body part is the liver, its function is to cleanse the blood, it detoxifies, so let’s get detoxified this month. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).  I’ve read in another translation that Jesus came to give a qualitative life…We will not let the enemy steal our youth! God wants us to look great and feel great at the same time so we can bring honor and glory to Him! Katie will be unpacking this word down for us so we can tap into all our benefits.  Katie had a visitation front the spirit of death, he was on assignment to kill her and to destroy everything of importance to her. Through her pressing into the Lord and through this awareness and process and her pressing in she received this powerful revelation.  The body of Christ needs a new wineskin to have enough energy to go out and get the harvest! This is the church's finest hour. Let's stand firm as one, united working side by side and contending with a single heart and mind for the sake of the gospel! Myself and my guest Robert Hotchkin of ‘Men on the Frontlines' are going to talk about unity and the power of it because it is so very vital today, especially living in the day and the hour in which we do. Robert has an amazing heart changing word about unity and the power of it.  Unity is a beautiful and precious thing to God, it blesses Him to see his children in agreement and dwelling in love with one another. As we do this many souls will be brought into the kingdom. Serving together with one heart and one mind is sweet to all who are watching and to us also.    Unity: The state of being united or joined as a whole, togetherness, wholeness opposite of divided, strife, discord. I think about we who are parents when leaving the house give our children the final and most important instruction before walking out that door because we love them, why want to keep them safe, we know what’s good for them.  John 17:21 that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe [without any doubt] that You sent Me. I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know [without any doubt] that You sent Me, and [that You] have loved them, just as You have loved Me. When I read this scripture I think about we who are parents upon leaving the house give our children the final and most important instruction before walking out that door because we love them, we want to keep them safe and we know what’s good for them. And so is the case with Jesus. Unity is so important to the Lord and He shows it because this is one of the last prayers Jesus prayed before leaving this earth: Paul in Phil 1:27 “Whether I come to see you or only hear in my absence I will know you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel.”  Phil 2:2 being one in purpose and spirit... Gain strategy to remain steadfast and encouraged! We are in a war and it’s a fierce one, one between darkness and light, good and evil.  It’s for the soul of our nation! It’s not about a political party or a person; we are fighting for our freedoms, for life! Not only for ourselves but also for our children and our grandchildren. We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus our Champion.  He will always lead us into victory!    Now is not the time to lose our focus.  We will stand on the word of God and the prophets, victory is promised and it is ours! The victory that the enemy is proclaiming is premature! God is working in the unseen realm.  We cannot be distracted.  One of the greatest examples of thanksgiving and praise that made an impact is is found in 2 Chron. 20:20: 20 And they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper. 21 When he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to sing to the Lord and praise Him in their holy [priestly] garments as they went out before the army, saying, Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah, and they were [self-] slaughtered; Jehoshaphat was afraid because of the great multitude that was going to take him out BUT he inquired of the Lord because he didn’t’ know what to do..  He declared who God was and what He could do. Jehoshaphat said, “Oh God, are you not God in heaven?  Do you not rule over all kingdoms and the nations, in Your hand are power and might so that none is able to withstand You.”  God responded through the prophet, “Do not be afraid or dismayed for the Lord is with you!  The battle is yours.” He received a word. God will download strategy.  He gives us answers and solutions to situations and problems.  He will give direction.   And when they began to sing, “Give thanks to the Lord for His mercy and loving-kindness endures forever.” The Lord sent ambushments, and their enemy was defeated!
