Segment 1 – The WeatherSegment 2 – PercotaSegment 3 – 12 things I'm anxious to see this season1.How do Blake Snell and Jordan Montgomery get along this season? – Discuss the whole Broas setup this offseason and their having big seasons could go a long way to re-establishing Boras as the elite of elite agencies. If not, there might be a sea change in agency representatives.2.Did the off-season training for Shane Bieber, Casey Mize, and Ryan Weathers truly make them better pitchers, or is this just Spring Training noise?3.Giancarlo Stanton looks physically great, but will that translate into success on the field? He is the active leader in career home runs at 402 and still has a solid shot at 500. However, he's 34, so he needs to have a bounce back year in order to stay on that pace.4.Does Wyatt Langford pull a Mike Trout. There is not only some physical resemblance, but both made the minor leagues look easy and moved through quickly. Trout was a high school kid, but Langford is an older college player.5.Will the Orioles outsmart themselves with Jackson Holliday? Will he stay down longer than we all think? I'll explain.a.If he finishes in the Top 2 of ROY, then he automatically gets a year of service credited. b.If he doesn't start the year on the 40-man, the Orioles can not get a draft pick if he finishes in the Top 3 of ROY voting.c.Bring up the signing of Tony Kemp.6.Which Rookie not named Langford or Yamamoto will be Rookie of the Year?7.Does Maikel Garcia add more power? 8.Will Estuery Ruiz be a true one-hit wonder? a.Will he get full-time playing time?b.There have been rumors of improved plate patience. Is that real?c.Side note – Is Victor Scott II going to be Estuery Ruiz 2.0?9.Is Jarred Kelenic any good?10.Will Nolan Jones take the next step, or will that .401 BABIP cause such a correction that managers who drafted him in the fourth round, are not going to be happy?11.How good will Yamamoto be?12.Is Gerrit Cole going to be ok or will he join the TJ Club?a.Will Carlos Rodon and Nestor Cortes return their 2022 form?b.Will Juan Soto have that magical season where he hits 50 home runs and drives in 120 with 120 runs scored?

Waitara is a town more associated with rugby league luminaries such as Howie Tamati and Tony Kemp than with elite rowing, but the Clifton Rowing Club is celebrating its best-ever performance at the national championships. Taranaki rowers secured four gold and two bronze medals at Lake Karapiro to finish fourth overall. Our Taranaki Whanganui reporter Robin Martin visited Clifton to see what makes it tick.
Over the weekend the Milwaukee Brewers trades Corbin Burnes to the Baltimore Orioles for DL Hall, Joey Ortiz, & the Orioles 2024 Competitive Balance Round A draft pick. Did the Brewers get enough in this return and what exactly does it mean for the NL Central and the Brewers chances of winning it? Another Central team made a move this weekend, however it was in the A.L. The Minnesota Twins signed a former Bucco friend in Carlos Santana for just $5.25 million over 1-year. This move looks to supplant Rowdy Tellez as the official 1B for the Pittsburgh Pirates this season. Lastly, there are recent reports/rumors that the Pirates have been linked to three free agents. Those names are Gary Sanchez, Michael A. Taylor, and Tony Kemp. LIKE and SUBSCRIBE with NOTIFICATIONS ON if you enjoyed the show! Tony Kemp operates in miracles, signs and wonders. Is this magical thinking or can this impact us with our spiritual emotional and physical healing? Tony shares many ministry testimonies of healings through the power of Jesus Christ and powerful stories from the Bible. He also shares his experiences with angels and seeing Jesus face to face. Tony also worked in the field of mental health before being calling into ministry full-time. He speaks around the world and has written many books. He knows how God can work miracles emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. We so often hold onto our resentment, hatred, bitterness, rejection, abandonment that keeps us from experiencing freedom. The spiritual healing is what we need to pursue first, so that the other healing comes next. Be encouraged to hear these powerful testimonies, teachings, and prayer by Tony. Dan and Cory recap the A's vs Guardians series, which resulted in lots of late inning stress and unfortunately only one victory. Two sad extra inning losses were offset by one exciting Tony Kemp walk-off hit in the ninth of game two. The A's bullpen continues to pull its weight, and JP Sears, and Kyle Muller looked the part as starters. Still too many errors prevented the A's from coming out on top.
Jerry is here for his first update and starts with audio from the back to back to back homeruns that Max Scherzer gave up. There are rumors of another team in the mix but Boomer doesn't think that's happening. It's not how business is done in the NFL. Gio got an anonymous letter saying the Niners are in the mix for Aaron Rodgers. Boomer is not an anonymous source and he is telling you what's happening and there is no other team involved, just the Jets and the Packers. Gio thinks he's embracing the villain look. The Devils beat the Penguins. Stephen A. Smith was on with Steven Colbert talking about his contract negotiations. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Brandon Tierney half assing his Five Borough Bike Tour commitment. We also have to make our Masters picks at some point. We are picking 5 people to win it all. Hour 4: Max Scherzer sucked at the end of last year and is off to a bad start so far this year. Gio said he is the face of Steve Cohen's big money Mets. His last four starts have been terrible according to Boomer. The Mets have been outscored 19-0 in two games in Milwaukee. And Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso have been invisible as well. Is Max Scherzer just like Tom Glavine? Did we get him too late? Jerry returns for an update but first Brandon Tierney comes into the studio to defend himself. Gio was saying he was half assing his commitment to the bike tour. Max Scherzer and the Mets looked bad against the Brewers again last night. The Yankees lost to the Phillies and gave up a big HR to Kyle Schwarber. The Jonas Brothers were in the booth and had the call for Anthony Volpe's basehit. Isaiah Thomas was on the All The Smoke podcast and wants Michael Jordan to come on. Charles Oakley told Thomas that MJ has no interest in being his friend.
