Salvation is a promise. But what if the flames refuse to burn?Summoned to the ancient, sacred steps of Manikarnika Ghat in the dead of winter, 1974, detective Vyom steps into a terrifying anomaly. The rhythmic crackle of the funeral pyres has vanished. The dead are not turning to ash. Instead, a suffocating, unnatural silence has gripped the banks of the Ganges, bringing the eternal cycle of moksha to a freezing, absolute halt.Plunged into a creeping stasis where the very laws of nature seem to be disintegrating, Vyom and his companion Sudhanshu must navigate the suffocating dread of the sacred city. As they pull at the threads of a mystery that defies all logic, every chilling clue leads them away from the safety of the burning ghats and points toward a much darker, forbidden destination. In a desperate search for answers against an expanding dead zone, the greatest danger isn't the unnatural frost seeping into their bones. It is the realization of exactly where they must go to find the source.Be warned: Some waters run far too deep. Most Bigfoot encounters happen by accident. This one did not. A lifelong experiencer with Puerto Rican medium roots and Nez Perce blood, Larry (name chosen for anonymity) had spent decades navigating shadow figures, voice mimicry, and unexplained presences in every home he lived in. So when he stumbled across the idea of mentally summoning a Bigfoot, part of him didn't think it would work. Part of him did it anyway. What came back through that open channel stopped him cold: I'm in the area. It'll take me a little while to get there. But you're not going to like what you see. He didn't believe it. Until he did. What followed weeks later on a night drive through the Arizona desert is one of the most layered, terrifying, and spiritually loaded Bigfoot accounts we have ever put on record. A wind shaped like an arrow. A shadowy figure taller than the car, blacker than the darkness itself. An orb the size of a beach ball is dissolving in the rear view. And the slow, suffocating feeling that something was pacing them for miles. This one is members only. If you've been on the fence about joining, this is the episode. (8) Timothy Ryback recounts how on January 30, 1933, Hitler is finally summoned to become Chancellor. The appointment hinges on a frantic, last-minute negotiation in Hindenburg's foyer with media mogul Alfred Hugenberg, who reluctantly joins the coalition after being cornered by Göring and Papen. Hugenberg immediately regrets the decision, realizing he has made the "biggest mistake" of his life. The resulting government photograph captures a stunned cabinet and an angry-looking Hitler. The era of political "hustling" ends as Hitler consolidates power, eventually murdering former rivals, including Strasser and Schleicher, during the 1934 Night of the Long Knives.1936?
A Gaza-bound aid flotilla has not reached its destination. Instead, footage of activists aboard it being forced to kneel on the concrete at Israel's Ashdod port, surrounded by armed officers and taunted by far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, has triggered international outrage. Among those detained, according to organisers, were 11 Australians.
Barbara Edmonds joins us LIVE at 9pm to talk about the latest government's announced a major shake-up of social housing beginning in this year's Budget - which will boost weekly support for 110,000 families by almost $15 but leave another 80,000 families worse off by $30 a week.Tangi Utikere and Chris Bishop were on TVNZ Breakfast this morning talking about the public sector cuts. There was an interesting interaction with the TVNZ hosts where they took government talking points and asked Utikere questions based in National Party opinions as opposed to actual facts.New Zealand has condemned Israeli national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, after he taunted detained flotilla activists - including three Kiwis - who tried to breach Israel's blockade of Gaza. Foreign Minister Winston Peters demanded that Israel's ambassador, Alon Roth-Snir, front up to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a “please explain”.++++++++++++++++++++Like us on Facebook.com/BigHairyNetwork Follow us on Twitter.com/@bighairynetworkFollowing us on TikTok.com/@bighairynetworkSupport us on Patreon www.patreon.com/c/BigHairyNewsCheck out our merch https://bhn.nz/shop/Donate to our work https://bhn.nz/shop/donation/

On this week's Political Breakfast, the final gavel banged on Sine Die. Georgia's 2026 Legislative Session is over. But as the dust settles and bills head to Governor Brian Kemp's desk for his signature, host Lisa Rayam asks Democratic strategist Tharon Johnson and Republican strategist Brian Robinson about the overall vibe under the Gold Dome. The gang shares that the session ended with more animosity than normal between both chambers, and some hard feelings. That's as lawmakers begin clearing out their desks and refocus on the upcoming elections. Besides major offices like Georgia Governor, Secretary of State and U.S. Senate, all of our state Representatives and Senators are up for re-election this year. Plus, the potential for a special session? State lawmakers failed to pass legislation on the final day of the Georgia General Assembly to tackle a self-imposed July 1st deadline, to end the use of QR codes to count votes. Now they could be summoned back in May or June, to tackle how Georgians will vote in future elections. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It will be exclusively available to buy from the Big Finish website until 30 April 2026, and on general sale after this date. Summoned back to Earth by the Space-Time telegraph, the Doctor and Sarah Jane find themselves assisting their old friends at UNIT not once but twice. But exactly how willing will a Time Lord be to be stuck in a single place once more? 15.1 The Ministry of Death by Robert Valentine (4 parts) When the Brigadier uses the Space-Time Telegraph to summon the Doctor and Sarah Jane from their travels, they know it'll be for something unusual. But neither could expect something quite this strange. An electronics expert has died after being struck by lightning. But how could this possibly happen in his office? And that's only the first death they discover. A wild scheme is underway. A case of twisted science and revenge. That's about to hit closer to home than they could possibly anticipate. 15.2 The Inhuman Empire by Phil Mulryne (2 parts) Sarah is contacted by an old friend who knows her predilection for 'rum goings on', asking her to investigate unusual activities at the National Museum. Sarah agrees to look into it, with the Doctor tagging along - but they soon discover things are worse than they thought. Because the Museum is host to alien activity - very familiar aliens at that. And if they don't stop these relic hunters quickly, then humanity itself might not survive. Brigadier Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart © Haisman & Lincoln and used under licence. With thanks to Hannah Haisman and Candy Jar Please note: the collector's edition CD box set is strictly limited to 1,500 copies and will not be re-pressed. Recorded on: 23 and 27 October, 3,10, 16 and 30 November, and 14 December 2020 Recorded at: The Soundhouse and Remote Recoding Producer David Richardson said: "Now this is my era! I was 12 years old when the Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane and Harry were flying out into the universe, and those years remain some of my most treasured Doctor Who memories. "How brilliant that, at last, 15 seasons into The Fourth Doctor Adventures, we can bring those characters back together again for new stories. This season has been sitting 'in the can' for a while now - we made it at the height of lockdown, and it proved the most joyous diversion from bleak times. Imaginative, brilliant escapism - just what Doctor Who should be." The Ministry of Death writer Robert Valentine added: "There is a certain magic to these lead characters of the Fourth Doctor, Sarah, Harry and the Brig. The Fourth Doctor is a far less clubbable personality than the Third Doctor was, and he's this chaotic force who wants to leave, and the Brig is a force of order who wants him to stay. "And stuck between them are Sarah and Harry, who are a very different couple of characters, who nevertheless get on extremely well. But Harry is a throwback to an earlier time, not unlike John Steed in The Avengers, and Sarah is a thoroughly contemporary woman who's bang up to date for the 1970s. Or is it the 1980s?" Actor Christopher Naylor described The Ministry of Death: "It has a real adventure serial feel to it. It moves at a good pace and it's very reminiscent of those early stories in Tom's tenure, like Robot. You can imagine those very brightly lit sets and the jeeps zooming all over the place and lots of colour separation overlay of actors and creatures getting bigger." Sadie Miller, who plays Sarah Jane Smith, agreed: "It's a really fun adventure. It reminds me of Roger Corman movies - that sort of creature feature element, which I absolutely adore, and a gothic spooky element to the sci-fi, with a mad scientist character, which I've always really enjoyed as a viewer and as a listener."

Congress, specifically the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform led by Robert Garcia and signed by 13–16 Democratic members, has formally written to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor (formerly known as Prince Andrew) requesting that he provide a transcribed interview about his “long-standing friendship” with Jeffrey Epstein and his possible knowledge of Epstein's co-conspirators, enablers and criminal operations. The letter points to flight logs, financial records (including notations such as “massage for Andrew”), an email from 2011 in which Andrew allegedly wrote “we are in this together”, and the fact that he traveled with Epstein to several locations. The committee asks for Andrew's response by 20 November 2025.However, the request is not a binding subpoena: because Andrew is a foreign national no longer holding British royal immunity, Congress cannot compel his testimony in the same way it can U.S. citizens. He therefore may choose to decline without facing the usual legal penalties for ignoring a congressional subpoena. Congress and the committee stress that his cooperation is sought in the interest of justice for Epstein's victims and to shed light on potential further misconduct.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

A four-year-old girl in Darien was summoned to jury duty. Don't worry, little Zara has been excused from serving but how did this happen? We asked Donna MarcAurele, Deputy Director and Jury Administrator for Connecticut's Jury Administration.

In early September 2020, amid growing scandal and public scrutiny over his associations with Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew traveled to Balmoral Castle to hold what was described as “crisis talks” with Queen Elizabeth II. This meeting was seen as a critical moment for the royal household, as the Queen and her advisors sought to manage the fallout from mounting allegations, including accusations by Virginia Giuffre and the widely publicized BBC Newsnight interview that followed. Sources at the time characterized the trip as an urgent effort to contain reputational damage and assess Andrew's future role within the monarchy.Though details of the discussions were never made public, the visit marked the beginning of a permanent shift for Prince Andrew. In the wake of the scandal, he stepped back from public duties and relinquished many of his official roles and patronages. The Balmoral meeting highlighted the monarchy's internal crisis and underscored the delicate balancing act between familial loyalty and institutional preservation as the royal family confronted one of its most serious controversies in decadesTo contact me:Bobbycapucci@protonmail.comSource:https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8692215/Duke-York-visited-Queen-Balmoral-crisis-talks-Jeffrey-Epstein.html

Choronzon is a demon that originated in writing with the 16th-century occultists Edward Kelley and John Dee within the latter's occult system of Enochian magic. In the 20th century he became an important element within the mystical system of Thelema, founded by Aleister Crowley, where he is the "dweller in the abyss", believed to be the last great obstacle between the adept and enlightenment. Thelemites believe that if he is met with proper preparation, then his function is to destroy the ego (causing ego death), which allows the adept to move beyond the abyss of occult cosmology.Help us buy a camera:https://ko-fi.com/monsterfuzzSupport the pod:www.patreon.com/monsterfuzz Check out our merch:https://monster-fuzz.creator-spring.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/monster-fuzz--4349429/support.

Perhaps this is a reference to jury duty for The Man of the West. Or perhaps it's part of Isildur's curse on the Men of the Mountains, as we continue our look at the Men of Darkness in the Third Age. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

3/8 Red August and the Idealism of Teenage Red Guards — Tanya Branigan — Yu Zhangzhen, who became a Red Guard at age thirteen, recalls "Red August" 1966, when Mao Zedong summoned millions of young people to massive rallies, explicitly endorsing the movement and exhorting them to destroy the "four olds." Despite witnessing horrific violence, including corpse-filled athletic fields, Yu maintained genuine ideological commitment to the revolutionary cause. For many participants, the CR represented a liberating experience, offering unprecedented personal autonomy, free nationwide travel privileges, and intoxicating liberation from parental and institutional discipline. 1966
