His change came in the form of turning his weakness of addiction into an obsession with running, and he's never looked back.Charlie has been clean and sober since July 23, 1992. My dad, Mike Keller, is a pastor in Grand Forks, ND. He spent most of his childhood growing up on a farm in North Dakota where he learned what it means to work hard. He discussed what life was like growing up, the relationship he had with his dad, and how it shaped who he became as a dad. We talk about how my dad managed working two jobs for a lot of my childhood, but yet made his family a priority. We also talked about how he met my mother, the love that they had, and how they stayed strong until she passed away on June 25, 2008. In this episode, I share a different thought on comparison. While we are inundated with messages to stop comparing ourselves to others, I find myself still struggling with comparison at times. In many ways, you will see that comparison is part of our human condition and sometimes happens whether we like it or not. You'll see why what we do with comparison, not comparison itself, is actually the problem. I talk about five things that we all can practice and substitute for comparison when it sets in.Connect with Justin: Instagram.com/kellerthinks | Circlefifty.com | medium.com/@kellerthinks | fb.com/kellerthinks | twitter.com/kellerthinks | TikTok.com/@kellerthinks
