Veronika came to Australia from the Czech Republic to study Sport and Exercise Science in 2003, which ignited her passion to discover the 'recipe' for everlasting health, fitness and wellbeing. That's how she became a Personal Trainer, Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Strength Coach and Nutritionist. Work aside, she LOVES running and proudly calls herself an ultra marathoner! Especially, after completing one of the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc races in 2018. Running is her everything… meditation, stress relief, hobby, means of transport and a rewarding way to socialise and connect with people. She loves helping others fall in love with running and to become better runners. Her quest to find a truly healthy convenience food to take on her running adventures wasn't very successful, so she ended up creating her own wholefood snacks, and she's super proud to be a co-founder of Chief Nutrition. Besides being a co-founder, she's the company's chief nutritionist. She's 44 years old, and last year, she was at her best health and fitness level ever. Then, suddenly, her health started to fall apart, which is why she decided to try a pure carnivore diet. She implemented the diet during a very challenging month (physically, mentally and timewise) and had great health and performance results. Today we are joined by Hope Forman; Attorney at Law, Ultra Marathon Runner, and Ice Cream Entrepreneur. Hope is a long time friend of ours, but more importantly she is one of the hardest working and most disciplined people that we know. In our conversation we run through her early childhood, adventures to Africa, and how she got into long distance running in the first place. Her undeniable sense of self has allowed her to choose what she loves over the status quo time and time again, rarely bending to adhering to trends or society based on what others believe to be “cool” or “popular”. It hasn't always been roses though in Hope's athletic or professional career. She outlines struggles with identity, guilt and an eating disorder. While we all struggle with similar things in our own lives, Hope has done a remarkable job to listen and sit with that pain in order to find new inspiration when things look most bleak. Her ice cream business, “Only The Good Stuff” was born out of a battle with an eating disorder and a need to consume more calories whilst embarking on long and grueling training sessions. Her love of long distance running actually began as an escape from other imbalances in her life. Listen to the stories that Hope has to share today, and the takeaways that speak most to you. There are many to choose from, but her tenacity and discipline to achieve in everything that she puts her name to will always be a line through that anyone in any industry or personal battle can look to emulate. She remains a constant inspiration in our lives and we are excited to share that light with all of you! We hope you enjoy our conversation with Hope Forman!

Evan grew up in the Pacific Northwest. When he was 14 years old, he decided that he wanted to start taking better care of his health. In middle school, he had been bullied horribly by other students. The bullying greatly affected Evan's mental stability. He determined that nobody can knock him down and with courage and perseverance he could do anything. When he was 23 years old, he decided to run his first marathon in Park city, Utah. He thought that he was going to die after that race. That race taught him many things that he needed to learn to become a better runner. He was determined to keep going and not give up on running. Evan has ran over 50 marathons (he's lost count). He has run 14 - 100 mile race's. Join me today as Evan shares life lessons that running has taught him in ways that will inspire you to live a better life. Our next guest left a kush job in the energy sector working for BP to go on and invent a fully functional jetsuit. Yes, you heard me correctly… a jetsuit. He started Gravity Industries, an aeronautical innovation company that set to make the worlds first Jet Suit in 2017. After many variations and iterations over the years, it's now a site worthy of being in the next futuristic James Bond movie with its modern and elite performance aesthetic. Not to mention he was a Royal Marine Reservist, an ultra marathon runner, had a phenomenal TED Talk, and holds a Guinness Book of Wold Record to his name. His life portfolio is an A++. He is the real life Tony Stark and I am certain that he's going to be a historical innovative figure in the future that generations to come will learn about in school. Please welcome our next guest, Richard Browning. Watch the Video on YouTube!

On todays episode of Mindset Hackers we'll break down David Goggins 40 Percent Rule from his book "Can't Hurt Me". David Goggins as many of you know is a former Navy Seal turned Ultra-Marathon Runner and Author. In his book, David Goggins describes his brutal upbringing and coming to a point in life where he was overweight and had a dismal existence but decided to make a change in his life to find out what he was truly capable of. He wanted to try to find out what he was made of, so he enrolled in the Navy Seals and went through Hell Week (one of the toughest physical endurance events) that tests the mind and body and puts you to the limits. He failed 2 times and went a 3rd time before he was accepted. But this was still just the beginning for him when it comes to mental and physical toughness. During the toughest times, David needed mindset hacks to call upon to help him get through, and on this episode we detail the 40 percent rule. In just 3 years, Dan LaMorte went from 354 pounds to 170 pounds, all thanks to ultra running and marijuana. After a career-ending elbow injury that stopped his baseball pitching aspirations dead in their tracks, Dan began doing stand-up comedy in New York City. As he gained stardom among the NYC comedy crowd, he also gained over 150 pounds. After learning he had fatty liver disease, Dan found his athletic drive again. This time, he found passion and solace in distance running. Dan didn't mess around. His first race ever was 40 miles, and he has only stepped up the distance from there. He is still on the rise as a stand-up comedian and he describes himself as a comic first. During our discussion, Dan dives into all aspects of his journey, including the grind of 'making it' as a comic in NYC, getting into ultra running, his use of marijuana in training, a documentary getting made about him, his future goals, and more.
