I do not think there is a more connecting and loving phrase than “I Got You” This phrase touched me deeply recently while traveling. Since that experience I will never live one day without reminding myself and others I got you and you are not alone. I think feeling alone is the most painful thought we can hold. Since my divorce has been playing out, my mind has told me repeatedly I am alone. I have to acknowledge that thought, thank it and tell it to take a hike. I am only listening to my heart now. Not only do strangers have me all day long, but God has me too whether I tap that or not. The best is when we can go within and let ourselves know, I got you, Let someone know “I got you” today and start having awareness of how many people have you. I love you #igotyou #youarenotalone

Maryann Ehmann and I spied each other for the first time in our big mastermind group. When she spoke one day in front of the group, I saw the sparkle of love in her eyes. Since then we have become fast friends. Maryann is a former prosecuting attorney corporate financial adviser, ministry leader and business owner. Creator of Magnificent Love Coaching. She helps spiritually inclined business owners bust through subconscious, limiting patterns so they can obtain peace, power and prosperity. She like all of us has had big title waves knock her over, one of the biggest was caring for her husband when he had cancer and money was tight.
I saw Daniel Nahmod sing at my church about being a parent and guiding this little person through life. The words to his song brought tears to my eyes.. It was beautiful. He reminds me a bit of James Taylor. I approached after the service and asked if he would come on my podcast. He said yes. Daniel has sold over 110,000 CDs on his own Humanity Music label, releasing 22 albums and performing for two million people in 45 U.S. states along the way. Daniel's music has been licensed by Saturday Night Live, Today Show, The Voice, The Super Bowl, and American Idol; his uniquely personal, emotional and insightful brand of positive pop music has been performed for Christian, Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist, Bahai, Muslim, Mormon, Unity, Hindu, Interfaith and secular audiences to wide acclaim. Daniel lives in Orange County, California with his wife Melina (JewelryByMelina.etsy.com) and 2nd-grader Jude, who is, at this moment, most likely filling the living room with dominoes and patiently waiting for daddy to get home to topple them together.
Heather looks like a chiseled greek goddess. She is golden brown, statuesque and ripped. My first exercise class I stood close to her and my band accidentally snapped and hit her in the arm. I didn't know her and was afraid this tall woman might be upset. It was just the opposite. She was so kind and gracious and continues to be that way to this day. I love her energy and passion. Listen in to hear how to heal organically. Heather Geltzer is a distributor of DōTERRA essential oils. I know a lot of women who are, but don't know one more passionate about the healing properties of the oils and mixing them together to heal all that ails us. Heather Geltzer also works in entertainment as a producer; she is currently working on a show called “Vida” on STARZ.
Earth Angels are everywhere. Scott Carter is one of mine. I did a One-Woman Show "Miss Junior Overland Park" 19 years ago. I set the intention to perform it on Oprah Winfrey's new Oxygen Network. After I did a performance of my show at the HBO Workspace, I got a call from Scott Carter asking if he I was interested in performing my show for a network. I asked which one and Scott replied, "The Oxygen Network." I had the time of my life with Scott. I fell in love with his calm, gentle and kind demeanor. He is a master in all he does. Scott Carter is an 8 Emmy Nominated Executive Producer and Screenwriter who's well known for such shows as, “Politically Incorrect”, “Real Time with Bill Maher” and the “Root of All Evil”. Carter has also done worked in stand up comedy, Executive Produced for two seasons of “Exhale With Candice Bergen", and written two full-length monologues (“Heavy Breathing” and "Suspension Bridge”) which he performed at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Jackie Greenberg hales from Canada and has me belly laughing every time I bump into her. She shares her chic style and her straight forward perspectives on parenting and life. I love this quirky comedic force. Her and her husband Paul Greenberg are a dynamic duo. Jackie is an actress and writer, known for Not Another Teen Movie (2001), Yes Man (2008) and As Told by Ginger (2000)
I met this lady walking out of the plastic surgeon's office. I had just gotten some lip filler and I saw she had gotten a thing or two too. I found her to be interesting and I loved her perspective on men, freedom and a lot more. So I invited her on my podcast. Carol Varon is a former stylist that loves travel, photography, and her voluptuous grey hair. She is aging up beautifully.
I was introduced to MD Complete Skincare Line and Drake Stimson during a promotional stint I did where I used the product, posted about it, and shared before and after pics. I had the chance to have dinner with Drake and his PR team and found him to be a very cool man. After the promo period ended I noticed how amazing my skin looked and started receiving compliments that I was glowing. I began reading more about the product and was very impressed with what I read. I reached out to their office angel, Pat Slater, to let her know I wanted to keep using the product and sharing about it. Our relationship is going strong and MD Complete donated 100 units of my favorite products for the swag bags at my messy imperfect life workshop. I just landed the CEO of MD Complete on my podcast. Drake Stimson, the CEO of my favorite face product line MD Complete Skincare is in my house! He has dedicated his career for the last 30 years focused on empowering and uplifting women. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to women. We appreciate you! Drake brings 30 years of executive leadership in marketing, sales and general management. He led the launch of four new businesses that generate over $1 billion in sales, developed three different billion-dollar new business platforms, won multiple “Top Marketer” awards from Brand Week (now Adweek) and Ad Age, and has had P&L responsibility for brand portfolios, global businesses, start-ups and large businesses. He began his career in consumer marketing at Procter & Gamble, advancing quickly over his twelve-year career to key leadership positions on both large established businesses and new business ventures. This included leading one of the company's billion dollar categories (U.S. Fabric Conditions) as a Marketing Director to four years of near double-digit annual growth in the face of unprecedented competitive activity, price reductions and new brand entries into this highly profitable category. He developed a highly disciplined marketing operation that simplified the brand equities, made them more consumer-relevant, and delivered a short and longer-term product pipeline to accelerate revenue and profit growth. Drake also led some of P&G's most successful and innovative new business efforts. This included a five-year stint leading the development and launch of Febreze from pre-market qualification, test market, U.S. national expansion to global expansion. Drake developed a high performance innovation engine to systematically overcome issues related to consumer relevance, believability, value, product adoption and in-store presence/awareness. This led to record-setting year-one national expansion results in the U.S.: $230,000,000 retail sales, 38% household penetration, significant year-one profit and the lowest new brand cost-per-acquisition on record at P&G. Drake then led P&G's Woman's Health & Beauty new business platform development to identify and enter strategically important whitespaces for P&G. This resulted in a “hair removal” platform (a supporting element of the Gillette acquisition) and a disruptive “professional skin care” platform (including an acquisition, technology JV and innovative brand strategy). Drake left P&G to start a new business incubator. The most successful start-up in this incubator was SOMOS Beauty, a hybrid direct-selling business serving the Latina community with a unique and highly appealing consumer proposition via a unique and culturally relevant business model. It was sold in 2007. Most recently Drake was EVP of Sales & Marketing at TRIA Beauty, leading the innovation program and global commercialization of this VC funded start-up. TRIA Beauty delivers disruptive skin care benefits (permanent hair removal, elimination of acne and skin rejuvenation) via Rx-to-OTC switches of professional light-based devices. The commercial launch was very successful. Despite a dramatic downturn in the luxury beauty market, Drake's organization exceeded its stretching financial commitment to the VC's two years in a row (the only company in the VC portfolios to do this): +20% (2008) and +14% (2009) vs. forecast. This commercial success resulted in part from an innovative hybrid direct-response model which accelerated and lowered the cost of innovation – a model that can be reapplied by large manufactures to improve their innovation engines.
Jill Bartlett (@bartlett_jilly) and I did a pilot together about women and the things that we navigate. I did not get picked up, but I'm glad I was on it so I could get to know this beautiful, sweet, loving and caring woman. Jill Bartlett is an actress, improviser, writer, and voice over artist. Jill can be seen recurring as Tig Notaro's love interest streaming on Amazon's ONE MISSISSIPPI. Jill is also currently recurring in the animated show AMPHIBIA for Disney, among many other film and TV credits and will soon start the West Coast stage tour of the acclaimed “ The Pump and Dump Show”. Danny McFarland was a Sheriff who got crushed in a car accident by a felon doing one of those bad guy getaway moves. Listen to his unbelievably riveting story moving from 10 years of Chronic Severe Pain using the best Western has to offer to Self-Healing. Danny got his Masters in Spiritual Psychology with me, has beautiful blue eyes & a nice butt. I always notice his dashing looks in class, but on this podcast I learned how deeply connected he is to his true-Self. Check him out. He's not married ladies. Danny says he is just an ordinary guy who lives an extraordinary life. I was a multi-sport athlete growing up and later coached football, baseball and basketball, including winning a National Championship coaching professional women's football with the Sacramento Sirens. I've owned an operated businesses, including a ballroom dance studio, and been investing in Real Estate for over 20 years. Things really took a turn for me in life when I was nearly killed in the line of duty as a Deputy Sheriff while attempting to arrest a parole at large. I was drug halfway hanging out of the suspect's vehicle for 115 yards and slammed into a light pole going approx. 70 MPH. I broke my neck, damaged most of the disks in my neck and back, massive nerve damage, obstructed artery, etc, etc., and was deemed permanently disabled. I suffered from debilitating pain for over a decade until I met an amazing holistic practitioner who changed my life forever. Through a variety of holistic modalities I was able to significantly heal my body, mind and soul. This was a spiritual awakening for me and catapulted me into a whole new direction in life. I went back to school and studied holistic healing as well as completing my Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology. I devote my life now to personal growth and helping others overcome their challenges. I co-developed and facilitated an amazing Social Emotional program already implemented into a middle school in Los Angeles that inspires our youth to live a more authentic life from a place of unconditional love and acceptance. I don't just teach these tool and skills, I live by them. The journey of rediscovering my authentic self has taken me on a wild journey into acting where I'm constantly given opportunities to expose and release my old fears and judgments about self and others. Acting is an opportunity to step deeper into unconditional love and acceptance of all aspects of myself and others. I also love acting because it is the most challenging thing I've every attempted to do in my life, and that's saying a lot! Whether it's through acting, hosting or speaking I aspire to stimulate more Empathy and Compassion in the world :)
Suzy Prudden is a fireball. She speaks her mind and has lived an incredibly full life doing in one lifetime what most people would do in 10. She is the co-founder of Itty Bitty Publishing http://www.ittybittypublishing.com/ and has an amazing life story with greats like Oprah, Deepak Chopra, and Louise Hay. She created the life she wanted by saying yes as she went. I really dig her. SUZY, co-founder of Itty Bitty™ Publishing made her stage debut in a dance recital at the age of two as the lead elephant in a long line of two-years old in a rendition of “The Circus.” It was love at first performance. Suzy never again saw a stage she didn't want to be on – preferably in the center. At 22, Suzy started a fitness and toddler program at her home – following her mother Bonnie Prudden's sage advice to “keep ‘em busy” – she founded Suzy Prudden Studios – the first, largest and most successful toddler exercise school in New York City. That school, which branched out into gymnastics and women's exercise, took her to 13 books, twenty national tours, The Today Show, Good Morning America and Oprah, along with thousands of magazines and newspapers and total burn out. She retired from fitness at the age of 40 and went on to be a pioneer the emerging Body/Mind industry. To ease the burn out she started studying metaphysics and hypnosis which led her to opening and building the largest Hypnosis Center, Specializing in Weight Loss, in Los Angeles. It was during these years she discovered that she was a truly great salesperson. As a successful entrepreneur, and author of a dozen books, she next started coaching her business hypnosis clients in how to grow their companies. On the way, she and her sister Joan Meijer-Hirschland wrote “The Itty Bitty™ Weight Loss Book” and discovered a unique blend of publishing and business building for authors. Together they founded S & P Productions, Inc. and created the Itty Bitty™ Publishing Community which publishes Itty Bitty™ books – 15 Simple Informative Steps By Experts In Fields Of All Kinds. Prudden hangs out with experts of every description and within days of announcing the founding of the company began signing authors and helping them create 6 figure businesses from their books. Watch the amazing Suzy Prudden on my podcast today. #messyimperfectlife #converse #PeaceLoveWorld #IIJINLovesYou #BrokedownClothing

I met Whitney Ullom at her breath class in Studio City. It was my first time experiencing it. She sat up there with her beautiful petite earthsuit and shining spiritual eyes. She had us close our eyes and follow her breathing. What I experienced was incredible. It was as if I was on acid or drugs and the colors and vibrations I experienced were magical. When it was over I felt i must share that there is so much out there that is available to us to pull power from. We don't have to just walk around being human and normal. Let's be extraordinary. I asked her to be on my podcast and this is it. Women this is a must watch / listen. Men you can learn a lot about a woman from this podcast (and yourself). If we follow what she says… we would be a happier Hominina tribe. Whitney Ullom is a sexuality coach for creative women. Ms. Ullom is originally from South Dakota and made a huge move to Los Angeles to pursue film and television but now not only is she doing that, but also helping women embrace all of their bodies getting to know and honoring their sexuality. Ladies put yourself first instead of always pleasing the man or woman or taking care of everyone else before you. That time is over. It's time for our self-pleasure first!
Bernardo Moya is a man of mystery and intrigue. I met him at a The Best You Legacy Calabasas Chapter meeting. He has a lot of knowledge about personal growth and development which he delivered with laser focus and intensity. After the meeting a few of us had a cocktail together in the bar. Bernardo continued to share his point of view and expertise, but now that he wasn't on stage I was available to jump in and get curious with some of his statements. We had a very nice interaction of laughing, taking over each other and hand slaps...much like we did on this podcast. I do admire him immensely for the success, failure, success, failure, success success success. When Bernardo has an idea that lights him up, he acts on it and is abundantly rewarded. When one idea may crash and he loses everything, he learns from it and creates something bigger. He has amazing conviction and persistence. Bernardo is an entrepreneur, speaker, publisher, TV producer and seminar promoter to some of the biggest names in personal development. Using his unique insight from over a decade working in the industry, he is the consummate expert of how to connect with people and the messages that can truly transform lives. He is the Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer of The Best You Legacy Club. Learn from this master while noticing how he tells me I need to listen more, but I can't get a word in edge wise. Wink. Thank you Bernardo for coming on the podcast. I look forward to speaking at your ever growing March 20, 2020 The Best You Legacy Expo. I love Andy Dick. He, like myself, is a free spirit and creates his own path daily. He is an uninhibited free bird who has messiness like the rest of us, he just happens to be in the public eye so we are all privy to it. Andy is an American comedian, actor, musician, and television and film producer. He best known as a comic, he is also known for his eccentric behavior, drug stuggles, and wild sexual stories. I am so grateful there weren't camera phones when I was living la vida loca! His first regular television role was on the short-lived but influential Ben Stiller Show. In the mid-1990s, he had a long-running stint on NBC's NewsRadioand was a supporting character on Less than Perfect. He briefly had his own program, The Andy Dick Showon MTV. He is noted for his outlandish behavior from a number of Comedy Central Roasts and other appearances. Andy Dick for President!
Manon Mathews is a Rockstar! We connected in a stand up comedy class @prettyfunnywomen where she told me she used to wait on my husband and i at the Daily Grill she long to have a relationship like we did one day. The next time we saw each other again, we were in a spirituality class. I relate to her because we are both unapologetically who we are. We are connected to our power and vulnerable at the same time. Manon Matthews was the #1 Vine star where she ultimately amassed a fan base of over 3,000,000 followers and accrued over 1,400,000,000 loops until Vine was unceremoniously shuttered. Now she is an instagram sensation, a major influencer and social media personality. Check out her humor and see her heart.
Jackie and I cannot remember how we met, but we do remember that we dig each other a lot. We are both on a mission to unleash women. Jackie is doing it through her company Forty Thrive (link to website) via Forty Thrive podcast (live link here), community and workshops. She is curious, delightful, and vulnerable lady. Have a listen and subscribe. Jackie is Founder & CEO of Forty Thrive bringing her wisdom from over two decades in TV and digital marketing, creating content for women with some of the most recognizable and innovative names in entertainment like Queen Latifah, Harry Connick Jr., Tyra Banks, Chrissy Teigen and Sharon Osbourne to help women launch themselves. Now instead of just creating content for others to market to women, she taps into her own personal insight and voice to connect with women — online and in person — helping each find their voice and use it in an authentic way. She can also help you start your own podcast. Thank you Jackie for being of service to better the world. That's just excellent.
One of the best lessons I have learned & embraced during my time on this planet besides forgiveness is surrender. I usually surrender when I am on my knees and can no longer handle what I have been trying to do, when I am so worn out i have no where else to go. My desire is that the times between my knees and surrender are shorter and shorter. When you move from your head to your heart, trust the process, and let go the worry, you allow something greater than yourself to step in . When i have done this things turned out better than i could have ever imagined. Surrender is the greatest gift to give yourself. It might feel scary and uncomfortable at first, but it is absolutely worth it! This podcast is all about surrender; how I learned to do it, what happened when I did, and the magic that came.
I love Kristi Lee. We were fast friends the moment we met. I had the chance of doing her podcast a while back https:/kristileenews.com/lovely-leigh-koechner/ now I get to have this amazing woman on mine! Join us live tomorrow on my Leigh Koechner Facebook page to watch us gab live 1pm pst. I can't wait! Kristi Lee is on the nationally syndicated radio show The Bob & Tom Show. She is the mother of two daughters, Ava and Sophie, has been married and divorced three timesand still has it going on! During her six-month break from Bob and Tom, Lee began hosting a podcast titled Kristi Lee Uninterrupted, which debuted on April 5, 2016. The podcast is affiliated with Dr. Will's Neighborhood. Its title is a reference to Griswold's habit of constantly interrupting her Bob and Tom Show news reports. Lee announced that she will continue to produce her podcast.
Leigh has one of her favorite people, Missy Anderson, on the podcast!
I adore Chicagoan Neil Flynn. He has been a part of my life since I met my husband in 96. I have watched their Beer Shark Mice Improv shows every Saturday night for 10 years. Neil is badass on stage and in the tele where you have seen him in Scrubs and The Middle. Neil is smart, sexy, kind, and thinks he knows all he wants out of life, but I am going to bring a little extra splash of sunny into his day (whether he likes it or not). Dig on him ladies. #iloveneilflynn
I heard about Dana Perri when JK Simmons won an Oscar for Whiplash and thanked Dana for getting him into shape for the film. Two days later I was doing an exercise class I didn't particularly like when a woman next to me mentioned Dana Perri's Shift workout. I recognized the two signs shouting Dana Perri and showed up at her studio the next day. I loved the class! it was exactly what I was looking for and I've been there now for about 1 1/2 years. Dana is driven, focused and a one woman show. What I love is that she is now being gentle with herself and knows that she is not alone and doesn't have to work so HARD. I applaud that SHIFT Dana Perri! check her out http://www.shiftbydp.com
I met Jana's sweet southern ass in a spiritual class. When I sized her up, as women do, I saw kindness, openness and delight for life. We exchanged info after the first class and followed each other on instagram (where I was blown away by her beautiful art and the magical vibe she created on her IG feed check it out @janawilliamsphotos_ or here on Facebook @janawilliamsphotography (your welcome)). As I read her instagram posts I was moved by the inspirational words that accompanied her art. I am tickled to have her on my podcast and we look forward to supporting from here on out. Jana Williams grew up in a small town in Alabama in an unbelievably unstable environment. She overcame her story of unworthiness to create the messy life of her dreams. I am proud of her. Jana says, "I always go the extra mile to take care of my clients during a shoot. I understand that being in front of the camera can be scary and I never allow my clients to feel alone. We are in this together.” All of my work is based on the foundation of reminding myself and others you are not alone, as is hers. "My photos have been published in countless magazines and blogs, but of all my accomplishments, the most gratifying is still that magic moment when my clients forget I'm there, capturing the true love in their eyes, or the gentle touch of a hand. Because, in that moment, the story is just beginning.” - Jana Williams Find the full episode using the links below! When I saw Mary Jo across the black top at my kid's school, I thought she was too polished and sophisticated for me to approach (it was my old thought of not being enough). Shortly thereafter I ran into her at an event and connected instantly with her polished sophisticated self. I love that when you do the work on yourself and you keep moving forward in sharing your gifts, the universe brings you the exact people at the exact moment you are ready to fully receive them. Mary Jo Eustace came into my life with the same vision and desire as I. We are co-creating, along with Wendy Euler, a very powerful platform to connect, uplift and unleash women. I couldn't have hand-picked better women to work with and I didn't have to because we were all walking to the same place, for the same desire, and magically came each other. I LOVE this life! I can't help it, but I keep meeting and falling in love with inspiring women on my messy imperfect life with leigh podcast. Gillean Mcleod is something else (check out her instagram @gilleanmcleod). Her life changed dramatically at 51 when her marriage of 22 years fell apart. Her body ached for about a year and she felt devastated as she began thinking of her future and how she would take care of herself as it was the first time in her life on her own. Cut to 12 years later at 63 where she is one of the most sought after models today. Thank you Gillean for showing us that ALL things are possible! She created a whole new amazing and empowering chapter for her self. Rock on sister.
Wendy Euler from @GoodbyeCropTop is my special guest in the latest messy imperfect life podcast! She's an incredible woman with a refreshing perspective on aging and how embracing imperfections is the key to perfection. There are so many brilliant learning moments in just one hour! Stay tuned for some badass stuff we've got in the works.
I met Becky Hosmer on a flight to Aspen. I thought I was whispering while talking to a friend, but apparently I was talking loud because this cute serious blonde girl turned around and shot me a look. I knew we would be friends by the end of the flight (whether she liked it our not). And here she is on my podcast today. Becky is the founder and designer behind the Anna Beck jewelry line. The name comes from her given name, Becky Anne. Becky finds inspiration through her love of travel and says that each piece she designs is a labor of love that starts with an experience or a feeling. Her jewelry is handmade in Bali using a centuries-old Balinese technique. She is an amazing woman changing the world one charity at a time. Check out her labor of love at https://www.annabeck.com

I heard this lady speak at an event and was blown away by where she came from and what she has created for herself. Born in Los Angeles, Danisha Danielle Houston Wrighster was raised by a single father and a mother who was in and out of her life. She graduated high school early and began her studies at UCLA at the tender age of 16, graduating with a BA degree in Mass Communications with a specialization in Business Administration. She now runs a multimillion dollar commercial real estate company and empowers women to have dominion over their money and bring in more. This is a powerful and empowered broad. I love her beauty, sass, and strength. I also love her new Tesla.
