Nashville native and Belmont student Megan Golden has just released her first EP "The End""In my 15 years living in Nashville, I have been fortunate to watch a lot of friends like Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, A Thousand Horses, Michael Ray and more, start their journeys with a back pack and a dream and end up being a huge success in country music. Yet the most frustrating part about being a friend and a fan to not just artist, but writers like Corey Crowder, Justin Weaver, Rick Huckaby, Westin Davis and many more, has been hearing amazing songs that will never leave the Nashville city limits."Nashville Hits Collecting Dust" is a casual, entertaining hangout with friends telling stories, giving valuable advice, and playing great songs that otherwise would still be sitting in a database. My guest are pure entrepreneurs that are living out their dream of being artist and full time songwriters."Don't miss a episode by following me @donaldsjenkins and donaldjenkinsnow.com

Hi Podcast Listeners! In our first segment, Hollywood Reporter Senior Editor Eriq Gardner joins Ryan and Dave to discuss the ongoing litigation involving American Idol winner Phillip Phillips and his management company 19 Entertainment. The case serves as a prime example of the difficulties that artists can endure when trying to advocate for their rights against big entertainment companies. In the second segment, country pop artist Megan Golden joins the podcast. Megan is an indie artist and a college student at Belmont University. She gives a lot of great tips about balancing a music career with college studies and on creating an effective and engaging PledgeMusic campaign. You can support Megan's crowdfunding campaign for her new EP by visiting pledgemusic.com/megangolden. You can also visit http://thechristopprogram.com/woba-awards-2016.html to vote for her for Best Artist at the WOBA Awards. In the "D Block" segment. Ryan talks about his crazy adventure buying a new car and wonders why car dealers still try to get people to pay high prices for cars in an age where everyone has Google and knows how much a car should cost. We also do a round of "Dave The Ultimate Arbiter" and have Dave decide whether a particular establishment's wardrobe policy crosses a line. Thank you all very much for listening. The Joker is undeniably one of the greatest villains in all of comic books. Heck, it could probably be argued that he is one of the best villains from any medium. And when it comes to definitive Joker stories, there are few better than Alan Moore's The Killing Joke. Which is why it comes as no surprise that DC has green-lit an animated adaptation of the story, but rumor has it that they have also signed off on it having an R rating. Good idea? We discuss our thoughts, as well as the Joker's origin being developed before our eyes on Gotham, Superman's new identity, Princess Leia's bikini selling for a lot of money, but her ship selling for more, and a follow-up on the Whopper of Death.* Watch Collin be awkward with the ladies* Superman has a new secret identity* Will Gotham give The Joker a real origin story?* The Killing Joke gets animated* Awesome Harry Potter casting news* Expensive gold bikini is expensiveSpecial thanks to our buddies over at Idiot Box Productions for giving us some amazing footage of Collin being awkward with professional cosplayer, Megan Golden.
