Australian Federal Police officers allege David William James produced child abuse material of 10 victims, the oldest being six years old.Mr James was training to be a NSW Police officer at the time of some of his alleged offending. Detectives from the Queensland Police charged five men and a teenage boy in relation to the alleged armed robbery of a Chermside business last month. The police allege that on Tuesday, June 10, shortly after 5 pm, a group armed with hammers, metal bars and wearing masks, entered a Gympie Road jewellery store. They also say investigations are ongoing into a potential link to an armed robbery in Lutwyche a month earlier, on Thursday, 8 May. As inquiries continue, anyone with information is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Meanwhile, a 52-year-old man has been charged with break and enter offences at a Hurstville shop last week. The NSW Police also states that inquiries are ongoing into an alleged grocery store theft in Granville in June. Three people have been injured in a shooting in a Sydney kebab shop. According to NSW Police, two masked gunmen walked into the shop, firing eight shots in total, before leaving the scene in a black BMW with a cloned licence plate. A 50 year old woman was shot twice in the torso, a 26 year old man was shot in the arm and shoulder, and another man of unknown age was shot in the face. Australian Correspondent Donna Demaio told Ryan Bridge that according to police, one of the victims has had two previous attempts on his life. Nick Kaldas' life as an undercover cop saw him play a drug baron in the market for vast quantities of hemp oil, track a fugitive with a penchant for hair transplants, and pose as a hit man for a spurned lover.Nick was a 21-year-old immigrant lad from Egypt when he decided to join the NSW Police Force.He soon rose up the ranks from working as a junior constable on the beat, then as one of the first Arab-Australian undercover cops, to becoming one of the most senior police officers in Australia.While undercover, Nick tracked a fugitive with a hair transplant, bought hemp oil and heroin at the Sydney Hilton, and was hired as a hit man by a spurned lover.He then had stints as the head of the homicide squad, the gangs squad and led some of NSW's biggest criminal investigations as Deputy Police Commissioner. Authorities have alleged a purported caravan bomb linked to prominent Jewish sites was faked by a criminal mastermind for their own benefit. NSW Police have made the announcement after several arrests following raids in Sydney, although officers are yet to sweep up the mastermind behind the caravan plot and a series of other apparently antisemitic incidents.
