I interviewed Adrienne Barber in our latest installment of the Tales of Accidental Bird Dog series. Adrienne got a Spinone, Fig, as an active running and adventure companion in 2016. After a while, she noticed that Fig wouldn't stop pointing tweety birds while she was walking her in the city, so she decided to look into hunting. She got involved in NAVHDA and eventually ran Fig in the Natural Ability test for evaluation only as she was a little past the age cut-off.  Since then, Adrienne started hunting and recently got another bird dog, a Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, named Frankie. We talk about her journey into the bird dog world, how life circumstances slowed down Fig's development a bit, and what she's done differently with Frankie. S&P Futures are showing strong gains this morning due to positive action in technology stocks. After the bell yesterday the judge in the GOOG antitrust case released his remedy opinion and said that Google will not be required to divest its Chrome browser or Android operating system. Additionally, the ruling permits Google to continue making payments to Apple, enabling Google to remain the default search engine on iOS devices. President Trump is appealing Friday's tariff ruling to the Supreme Court and requesting an expedited ruling. Later today he is expected to meet with the President of Poland. Treasury Sec Bessent will start to interview candidates for the role as Fed Chair on Friday. The yield curve is showing signs of steepening with the 10-year Treasury note yield hovering around 4.28% to 4.30%. This follows a modest increase of about 0.03 percentage points from the previous session, marking the third consecutive day of rising yields.  On the economic from today markets will be paying attention to this morning's JOLTs report and the Fed's Beige Book in the afternoon. HQY & ZS are higher after earnings beats. After the bell today CRM, FIG, HPE, GTLB and AI are schedule to release.

We've learned changing body condition score during the dry period is not acceptable, but what if it changes during late lactation?  How does this impact energy partitioning for the next lactation? Well managed high producing cows with high fertility might find themselves bred back in less than the “textbook ideal” condition score heading into the dry period. Can we alter the late lactation ration to successfully increase condition with little impact? John Jannarone called the Figma (FIG) IPO "really good news" for the overall tech IPO sphere. He expects to see names like Klarna and Stripe go public sometime this fall, and says they could be even bigger than Figma. For Figma's first day pop, John says the discrepancy in IPO price to trading price showed the company did the right thing in the long term.
