On this episode, the boys are joined by 10-year NHL vet, broadcaster, and former Chicago Blackhawks and Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon. Tallon split his 642-game career with Vancouver, Chicago, and Pittsburgh but made his most significant impact in the front office. As Chicago's GM from 2005-2009 and as AGM prior, Tallon played a massive role in the Hawks becoming a powerhouse, drafting the likes of Kane, Toews, Byfuglien, Crawford, Seabrook, and more. We get into building the Blackhawks dynasty, the Vegas expansion, signing Bobrovsky to that massive contract, and more. Before the interview, the boys get into Jordan Binningtons' latest shenanigans, Brock Boeser *almost* being scratched due to trade protection, Kris Letang suffering a second stroke at just age 35, and much more. Tallon has been a difference-maker on the ice and off - we hope you enjoy our chat with a great hockey mind on this edition of The Cam & Strick Podcast.Happy birthday to the late Randy Rhoads!
In this episode the boys welcome Roseau Rams standout hockey player and Future St. Cloud State Husky, Thor Byfuglien. Thor talks about playing in then USHL with the Chicago Steel and his reasons for returning to high school for his senior season, and as always, after the interview the boys have some fun with meaningless chatter. Enjoy!

Weeks away from the start of the post-season, we continue to push on. This show starts with a recap of the key dates for the upcoming post season and off season for 2020. The top story is the possibility of Vancouver moving Brock Boeser. We delve into possible landing spots, who has the capital to pull off the move, and what the return should be for his services. We talk about Steven Stamkos getting injured during a pre-season workout. The dreaded L.B.I. (lower body injury) has been a problem for Stammer for some time throughout his career. How much longer will he play? We discuss. The Coyotes are getting healthy at the right time, and Oliver Ekman-Larsson is feeling 100%, so how far can Arizona go in the playoffs? A great discussion ensues. We found an article describing three landing spots for Dustin Byfuglien, and one of them is not a franchise. We talk about the Stanley Cup odds and give our feelings on their accuracy. Finally, Lindy Ruff is back behind the bench as boss. How will he fare with the New Jersey Devils? Lots of content so give us a listen and tell us what you think. Enjoy the Show!!
Dave Bolland, a former NHL forward who won two Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks, joins the show to discuss a variety of topics, including: - What he's been up to since retiring last year - Mental toll of being on LTIR to end NHL career - Rivalry with the Sedin twins, Canucks fans - Former teammates Hossa, Byfuglien, Toews - Hanging out with A-list actor Vince Vaughn ... and more
She's a "gold-miner's" daughter, an educator, a badass outdoor beauty, a member of "THE WINO'S" Championship Women's rec. hockey team in Metro Winnipeg ... and her name is Emily Byfuglien. The girls have some fun getting to know all about Emily and fun-flirty-teenage beginnings of her relationship with her husband, Dustin Byfuglien; NHL 2010 Stanley cup Champion Chicago Blackhawk & recent defenseman for the Winnipeg Jets. The honest chat of being a 'bender', homeschooling & love for wine shift easily into the tough conversation on the difficult past season that the couple endured. Because this episode was recorded just 48hrs before Dustin came to a mutual agreement with the Jets to terminate his contract, we invited Emily back for an after-the-announcement session to get her thoughts. If there's one thing we know for sure when you're Married to the Game ... it's that not much of it is ever for certain.

For the fourth straight week we are corona free. We talk about the week the St. Louis Blues had, extending Mackenzie MacEachern, Sammy Blais and Marco Scandella. This leads us to talk about what may happen with Alex Pietrangelo. Could he go somewhere else? And what would all that mean for Torey Krug? Kris Versteeg, a Bruin draft pick in 2004, has retired at the age of 33. He never played for the Bruins, but has won two Stanley Cup rings with Chicago. Also calling it a career is Andrei Markov, 36 of the Montreal Canadiens. He seems to be more famous for the players he has been paired with over his career. Dustin Byfuglien and the Jets have mutually agreed to terminate his contract, making him a free agent. Where could he land next year (he can't sign anywhere this season). We break down our 3 on 3 poll and discuss the Golden Knights poll. All this plus some movie reviews as well. Listen, comment and Enjoy the Show!!...and wash your hands.

Oops, they did it again.Last week the playoffs weren't that far out of reach for the Preds — the team was just a point or two away from slipping into a wildcard slot, with a few games in hand to boot. But thanks to some frustrating calls in Saturday's game against the Oilers and another Barf Bag Game of the Week performance against the Canucks, the Preds have (once again) slipped further back in the standings. Now that we're halfway through February, with fewer than 30 games remaining, hosts Michael Gallagher, Geert De Lombaerde and Megan Seling wonder: Is the team — and the team's confidence — too far gone to recover?Even with a few players responding positively to the new coaching style — namely Mikael Granlund and Dante Fabbro — the list of issues is still so long. There isn't enough defensive depth, the goal tending is too inconsistent and the top forwards are all under-performing to the point where Hynes has cut their playing time in half. Oof!Also discussed: Pekka Rinne's future with the franchise, the team's surprising goals-against statistic and what moves Hynes and Poile could/should make in the offseason if the Preds don't make the playoffs. (Byfuglien! Get Dustin Byfuglien!)

The .750 dream is still alive thanks to a Kovalchuk-led 3-goal comeback against the Devils and a monster performance by Nick Suzuki against the Ducks. The Leafs and Kings made a trade, Byfuglien is done with the Jets, the Coyotes might be fined 5 million dollars, Elvis Merzlikins is the best goalie ever, and Alex Ovechkin refuses to stop scoring goals.Sponsored by Sandborne's BoysSubscribe on Google Play or iTunes!Twitter:@AlexMeleras@taiseifuShare with your friends
