The Wisconsin Sports Tap List, presented by Tapping The Keg Sports, is back with another loaded episode as Charlie breaks down the first wave of Green Bay Packers free agency and answers the biggest questions Packers fans are asking right now. Charlie digs into whether Zaire Franklin is actually an upgrade over Quay Walker, what the Packers are getting in corner Ben St. Juste, and if the addition of Skyy Moore means Green Bay is finally taking special teams seriously. There's also a look at the surprising return the Packers got involving Rashan Gary and what the future could look like for Kingsley Enagbare in the pass rush rotation. The episode also tackles the potential departure of Elgton Jenkins and whether it would be a major loss for the offensive line. With Sean Rhyan back in the mix, Charlie explores whether the Packers should still prioritize adding a center and what the offensive line configuration could look like moving forward. There's also discussion around the wide receiver room and who could step up if there's a void created by Romeo Doubs, along with Charlie's overall reaction to the first two days of Packers free agency and the lingering question: What exactly are the Packers planning to do with all of their remaining cap space? Outside of Packers talk, the Tap List also dives into some other sports storylines. Charlie discusses the brewing Brice Turang vs. Gunnar Henderson beef, the strange USA vs. Italy no-show situation that could impact Team USA's chances, and reacts to Bam Adebayo's rough 83-point performance. The episode wraps with a quick Bucks vs. Jazz watch, plus Charlie explains why he's officially out on the hot honey trend.e If you're a Green Bay Packers fan, Milwaukee sports fan, or just enjoy Wisconsin sports commentary, the Wisconsin Sports Tap List from Tapping The Keg Sports brings quick-hitting reactions, opinions, and storylines from around the state. The calls are coming in hot on Packernet After Dark, and tonight's show covers some of the biggest questions hanging over the Packers heading into free agency and the draft. From the Romeo Doubs contract debate to a deep dive on Brian Gutekunst's drafting track record, the fan base is fired up — and they're not holding back. Romeo Doubs at $12M — worth it or salary cap poison? Chris from Alabama makes a passionate case for bringing Doubs back as the team's most reliable receiver, while Ryan breaks down the brutal math: can Green Bay really afford Doubs and lock up Watson, Reed, and eventually Golden? The Gutekunst draft report card. Drew from Green Bay challenges Ryan on the Creed Humphrey miss, the Quay Walker pick, and whether the GM deserves more credit for his work in trades and free agency than he gets for the draft itself. Ryan's verdict: stop measuring how close the misses were — just find the hits. The Packers' cornerback drought. The crew revisits a stunning stat — Green Bay hasn't taken a top-100 cornerback in nearly a decade — and what it means now that Gutekunst has publicly flagged the CB room as a priority. Rich Bisaccia heads to Clemson. A caller floats a compelling theory about the timeline of his departure, and the crew gives a genuinely warm send-off to the outgoing special teams coordinator. The Packers fall to the Eagles — and it wasn't just about execution. Ben Kurkowski breaks down the coaching and roster disconnect between Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst that's crippling Green Bay's season. From Brandon McManus' ongoing quad injury and baffling 4th-down calls, to Bo Melton playing more snaps at WR than Malik Heath or Savion Williams, Ben highlights how poor communication and inconsistent roster management are costing the Packers winnable games. He also dives into the offensive inefficiency — overreliance on shotgun runs, predictable playcalling, and Jordan Love's missed reads — while pointing out standout defensive play that still wasn't enough. Finally, Ben discusses the devastating injury news (Elgton Jenkins and Doubs), the lack of OL depth, and what these mistakes mean for Green Bay's playoff hopes heading into a brutal stretch.
Well the Steelers got embarrassed by the Joe Flacco led Bengals this past week on Thursday Night Football. While the offense was able to keep up and almost had a chance to win on a patented Aaron Rodgers Hail Mary attempt, the defense looked slow, lethargic, and didn't make the necessary changes to stop the Bengals from advancing and scoring. Join your hosts Jeremy Kohlman, Wil Masisak, and Korey Karbowsky as they lament the loss against the Bengals, look ahead to Sunday Night Football matchup against the Packers (Aaron Rodgers former team if you didn't know), and look around the NFL for some other games that should be fun to watch.
Could we see Romeo Doubs staying with the #Packers? Are the Packers not using Micah Parsons the right way? Dan discusses both topics. #GreenBayPackers #NFL #GoPackGo #PackersNews #PackersNation #NFlSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Packers Insider Easton Butler joins Wisconsin Sports Daily to break down is report of multiple NFL teams calling the Packers to trade for WR Romeo Doubs. Easton explains why it's Doubs that has been singled out by other teams.
