Don't say it's over. After one last go around at Lord's, Big Daddy Kane has left the arena, retiring from all New Zealand cricket. An abrupt decision in the middle of their Test series against England, but one in keeping with someone who has always kept his own counsel. Two of the Fab Four have now given up the whites, with Williamson departing as an all-time great, and New Zealand's finest ever with the bat. How much comes down to the ECB's management of everything around its team? Eng v NZ Daily 2026, 1st Test, Lord's Review: It's the day after one of the shortest 40-wicket Tests on record and Adam has Daniel Norcross with him to ponder what it all means. The Lord's pitch is where attention continues to sit, albeit with MCC presenting a path to a better future for the contentious 22 yards. Casting to The Oval, where the next Test begins next Wednesday, is it simply the case that Jofra Archer vaults straight into the squad and, indeed, the XI? How might Shoaib Bashir's use, or otherwise, inform this? As for the Black Caps, they simply cannot lose their bundle with their WTC implications. Most brands know what their campaigns are doing. Fewer know whether their flows are actually doing the heavy lifting. This is the second of three special episodes recorded live at Klaviyo's Sydney event, K:SYD. Nathan put forward a panel instead of a single interview, and the room delivered. Three Klaviyo Champions, three very different businesses, one hour on email, CRM, data and where retention marketing is actually heading.Lachi Agnew is Head of Technology at July, the Melbourne luggage brand he has helped build from scratch over seven years. Flows are driving close to half of July's Klaviyo-attributed revenue, while campaigns get most of the creative attention. Hani Rifai is Chief Digital Officer at Step One, the ASX-listed bamboo underwear brand chasing $100 million with a team of 50 and one of Australia's sharpest data-first retention programs. Alice Michael is Head of Ecommerce and Operations at APG & Co, running Klaviyo across Sportscraft, SABA and JAG simultaneously with a lean team and three distinct customer bases. The conversation covers where discounting actually helps versus where it trains your best customers to wait, how to use RFM switches to deploy incentives at the right moment, and why segmentation is a workaround, not the destination.Today, we're discussing:Why flows outperform campaigns on revenue at July, and what Lachi is building to close the gap between the two [12:08]How Step One uses RFM category switches to trigger targeted messages at the exact moment a customer starts drifting [21:30]Hani's take on Pavlovian discounting: discount to solve a problem, not to plug a revenue gap [22:42]How Alice migrated three fashion brands off Salesforce Marketing Cloud and why one bottleneck was driving the whole decision [02:48]The Step One experiment using AI search data piped into Klaviyo to generate one-to-one abandonment emails based on what a customer actually asked [46:30]Why all three panellists agree segmentation is a workaround, and what true one-to-one communication actually requires [53:00]Connect with Lachi Agnew | Explore July | Connect with Hani Rifai | Explore Step One | Connect with Alice Michael | Explore APG & Co Subscribe to the Add To Cart newsletter SMS us to Suggest a Guest Connect with Nathan Bush Join the Add To Cart Community
Eng v NZ Daily 2026, 1st Test, Lord's Day 3: The sun was out today, but the umpires had decided to take lunch. Before you roll your eyes, we try to explain why. It typified a frustrating stop-start day, with players on and off the field, taking this Test into a fourth day with the game still in the balance. We also have an explanation about impact on DRS. Eng v NZ Daily 2026, 1st Test, Lord's Day 1:There'll be questions asked about another dicey pitch at Lord's in early June, with 33 wickets falling in total by the end of the second day. Emilio Gay provided some respite, raising a 50 on debut in an hour of relative calm, before the pitch started playing havoc again and New Zealand's catching joined the chaos. Despite that, the game is evenly poised. Ben Jones and Dnaiel Norcross attempt to make sense of it. Eng v NZ Daily 2026, 1st Test, Lord's Preview: Adam has Ben Jones with him, who will be co-piloting the Daily eps from the first Test series of the England summer with the Black Caps in town at a wet Home of Cricket. When they do get on, just how much pressure are the England top brass under this week? We have a pretty good idea of how they're shaping up, with room to move if the rain keeps coming. As for New Zealand, they are fit and ready to make it count at a ground where they have historically struggled, a match set to be Kane Williamson's last in whites at Lord's. Season 20 Episode 12: Charlotte Edwards is one of the most respected people in all of cricket. With her career in the game now entering a third decade, she's now in the job she always wanted since finishing as a superstar player and captain in 2016: coach of the England Women's Team. Taking over at a low ebb last year, we find a mentor who has found the empathy needed for a role like this, but also one who doesn't shirk the big decisions posed, especially when it comes to senior players. We find Lotte, as she's known by all, brimming with enthusiasm not only for how far the women's game has progressed, and for the opportunities presented by a home T20 World Cup. Sports photography isn't just about finding the right lighting composition, but requires forging relationships with the subjects, combined with a deep understanding of the context that can turn photographs into entire stories. Gareth Copley-Jones has been the man behind the camera for some of England cricket's most iconic images. Ben Stokes at Headingley, Jofra Archer's delirium at Lord's, and Chris Woakes walking out to bat with his arm in a sling are a result of Gareth's skill and application. In Picture Of England, we're taken behind the viewfinder to deconstruct the science, research, and sheer hard work of getting the perfect shot. With thanks to Surrey CC, Gareth sits down with Daniel Norcross for a fascinating insight into his processes. In this episode, Dr. Tony Ebel addresses one of the most common and heartbreaking frustrations parents of children with chronic illness face: doing everything right and still not seeing results. Dr. Tony reframes the problem entirely — it's not that the interventions are wrong, it's that they're being applied in the wrong order and on top of a broken foundation. He walks through the neurophysiological science of why healing follows a predictable sequence, introduces his clinical intake process, and lays out a clear four-step healing playbook: fix the nervous system foundation first, then movement integration, then gut and immune detoxification, and finally the brain. This episode is essential listening for any parent who feels stuck, and for every provider on their child's care team.----Links & Resources:Register for the FREE & VIRTUAL Resilient Family summit: thepxdocs.com/familyEp 51. Jon Hotten is one of the most engaging writers our game is blessed with, so any topic he turns his pen to is going to be worth reading about. His latest book, Vinciness, is unusual as the subject isn't really what he's writing about. Not all the time, anyway. For the “decadent and depraved” majesty of cover driving to so much more, Daniel Norcross steered the conversation with this outstanding author, and friend of the pod, during a Surrey interval. This week's Q&A is a mini webinar all about overcoming canter anxiety and building confidence step by step. Nicole shares a really helpful perspective on why the canter can feel so intimidating, and how breaking it down into smaller, more manageable pieces can make it feel so much more doable. In this mini-webinar, you'll learn:Why the canter feels so intimidating and what's really happeningThe foundation for confidence through position, balance, and preparationSimple strategies to build confidence step by stepOne of the biggest themes in this session is that confidence comes from preparation. She talks through the key foundations that make the canter feel safer and more rideable, from position and balance to the trot exercises that directly support better canter work. There is also a great discussion on how improving the basics can take away that feeling of surprise and give riders more control.Nicole also shares a simple exercise, “bookending the canter” that is especially helpful for nervous riders, plus answers questions about rushing, unstable lower legs, horses that speed up instead of striking off, and how to rebuild confidence after setbacks. If the canter has ever felt overwhelming, this episode has a lot of encouragement and practical ideas to help you feel more secure.Download the free canter checklist here.Happy Riding,AmeliaPS. The Canter Challenge is now open for enrollment, so if this is something you're working on right now, it's perfect timing to dive in a bit deeper. Check it out here.

Season 20, Episode 3: We find the Australian Test opener at The Oval, where he's set to play for Leicestershire against Surrey in the county championship – a gig he only found out he had a couple of weeks ago. It's emblematic of the 31-year-old's fascinating and unconventional career so far, which has taken the left-hander far and wide from his Northern Territory home, all in pursuit of his Test dream. Now realised, the Ashes-winning opener has been backed in with a national contract, endorsed as the man to walk out with Travis Head across a 12 month period as exciting and demanding as they come for the Australians, starting back where Jake grew up in the Top End in August. He's quickly become one of the most popular figures in the team for his willingness to share so much of himself with the public, and he's another top guest. Do you feel stuck? Have people told you all you need to do is let go? Have you been shamed by others because you find it hard to stop thinking about how a narcissistic parent has wounded you? Do you ruminate, and find yourself clinging to old memories, plagued by negative self talk? Are you codependent, a people pleaser, who finds it hard to let go, even when you know you should walk away? If so, this episode is for you. Inside you will learn Lisa A. Romano's 3 step metacogntive process that teaches her private clients and members of her conscious healing circle, inside the Breakthrough Warrior Membership. These are also the types of logic and neurological based trainings she offers those within her coaching courses. Today, she shares her insights with those in her podcast community in the hopes of inspiring them to believe that the power to change and heal their lives has been within them all along. But, here's the thing. The power is not in action. It is in metacognition. It's in a particular type of controlled, conscious repetition, that allows for the brain to edit and rewire itself in real time. Sound interesting? You know it does! And if you are someone who feels stuck, but you ache for joy, emotional freedom and total authenticity, Lisa's work offers a pathway through the muck of the past. 0:00 Introduction--what reframing what letting to actually means 5:00 defining letting go through the lens of metacognition 6:26 Step One-accepting the external reality (fact gathering) 9:21 Step Two-accepting the internral reality (data observation) 11:00 When your self identity is crushed as a child 16:00 The codependent approval seeking pattern 17:00 The power of self editing and somatic release 17:40 Step 3-the Metacognitive shift from lack to gratitude 18:01 Holding pain and gratitude simultaneously--creates internal balance 18:40 Childhood trauma symptoms to be observed not identified with 19:39 Observing the toxic patterns of negative self talk 20:12 The Gremlins of stinking thinking 20:26 The metacognitive shift using gratitude as a tool for balance 21:43 Emotional freedom explained 23:04 Stinking thinking explained 23:36 The future of childhood trauma recovery (metacognition/neuroplasticity) 24:45 Metacognitive exercise to help you shift 26:13 Seek the shift 27:14 Muscle memory and emotional recovery go hand in hand 27:32 Letting Go reframed as a mental resilience exercise 28:00 Repetition, why its necessary 28:80 The Wizard of OZ comparison; Dorothy had the power with her all along 30:19 Refuse to allow trauma to control your life 31:46 The 12 Week Breakthrough Coaching Program--your next steps This episode will help you understand the power of a consciously controlled mind, which will help with emotional regulation, and emotional freedom, specifically for those suffering from childhood emotional neglect, codependency, low self worth, people pleasing, and the repeating of toxic relationship cycles. ✨ Learn more about my work and resources: here ✨ Explore the 12 Week Breakthrough Coaching Program: here Topics: healthy boundaries, boundary guilt, people pleasing recovery, codependency healing, self abandonment, fear of rejection, emotional conditioning, inner critic, childhood trauma patterns, adult children of dysfunctional families, nervous system safety, relationship anxiety, self healing, codependency, codependency recovery, self recovery, metacognition, personal growth, self growth, selfhelp, mental health tips, lisa a romano, narcissistic abuse recovery, codependency recovery,

Season 20, Episode 1: A new season brings new faces and fresh storylines. But it's also a time to admire those who have been on the circuit for a long time, dedicating themselves summer after summer. Heading into his 17th professional season, a man who has done this with distinction for Middlesex is their big quick and standard-bearer, Toby Roland-Jones. A decade on from his magical hat-trick to win the county championship on the final day of the season at Lord's, he's still charging in and making it count. In this chat, he charts the highs, including a remarkable start to his Test career, and the lows, when his body limited that England stint to just one summer. A fine bowler and great guest. Season 19, Episode 39: It's our season finale for the Australian cricket season of 2025/26, with a cracker of a Sheffield Shield final run and won over five days, and a new Australian central contract list moving well away from white-ball formats and investing everything in the extraordinary glut of 21 Tests between this August and the following July. Also this week, separate administrator madness in both Pakistan and India, an all-time performance in the women's game, and more discontent with Brendon McCullum is part of the many stories bubbling away in England before the new county season. Season 19, Episode 38: We've learned in our time it's impossible to avoid investing in some players' stories more than others. For us, one of those has been Essex and England seamer Sam Cook. When he was picked for his Test debut, it was a triumph for everyone who believes that forever hitting the same spot while nipping it around, at a decent clip without blowing up the speed gun, is worthy. It's what this guy has been doing from the moment he arrived in the pro game as a teenager, doing it in all conditions for his county; he banged the door down for that Test cap. As it turned out, his Trent Bridge audition wasn't enough to play a starring role through the remainer of 2025, but as you'll hear in this chat, he's determined to hit the ground running to give himself every chance of this being his year when the season begins on Good Friday.
