All of us have had a time where it feels like we are just trying to survive. The problem with the pattern of survival, is that it becomes a mindset that sticks with us, even as seasons change. In this message, we look at what it takes to move from survival to significance. kingdomchurch.ca/connect kingdomchurch.ca/give
Jean Watson has been given a gift. It’s heard in her music and felt in her gentle presence. Jean plays violin with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, hosts an internationally broadcast radio show, tours across the country and around the world both as a performing artist and as a sought-after speaker. She also recently released her 12th album, Behold (Carols of Worship) and her first book, Everything Can Change in Forty Days. Twenty years ago, as a single mom raising four kids and trying to make ends meet, her landlord gifted her a Christmas tree. As he was delivering the tree he heard a recording of her singing that brought him to tears. He told her, “I don’t know what you are doing with your life but I think this is it!” He told her to use that month’s rent money to record. And she did. Jean shares her wrestling, surrendering journey to find God’s purpose, the God-ordained moments along the way, and the overarching theme that God has a plan for your life and if you will trust Him and obey He will lead you right into it.Support the show: https://give.moodyradio.org/fall-share?v=def&appeal=MRWM&_gl=1%2a142i9we%2a_ga%2aNTE4MTE5MmUtY2U1Yy00YmQ3LWU4MmUtNjEwYTQ5YzAyODRj%2a_ga_4WH1937046%2aMTY5NTExODEwMS4yOTkuMC4xNjk1MTE4MTAxLjYwLjAuMA..&_ga=2.197426156.215784306.1695059984-1182841406.166859587See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Life can be unpredictable, especially when we are on this family caregiving journey, AND there are also so many things within our decision making process and control! If you really think about it, increments of 30 seconds, days, months, years, have a huge impact on our life. A lot can happen in those increments of time. Again, some of it in our control and some not so much. When my clients feel stuck, we look for areas to disrupt thought processes to gain clarity and then focus on what needs to be changed. With clear thinking and specific goals it allows us to create the life that we desire, even when we are helping someone with their aging journey or managing kids that are still at home. It's resurrection Sunday and our theme today is “Everything can change.” We're told so often about how to change for the better, but many of those changes don't stick. The resurrection, however, is news of a different kind of change… one that sticks.
The greatest hope of our salvation is found in Jesus' resurrection. In this sermon, we learn from Pastor Adam how true change is brought about when this story of resurrection moves from just being a Sunday story to spiritual reality.

Main Idea: Everything can change, but not everything can change equally easy. Before setting about in an undertaking of change, you need to understand the dynamics that make change difficult or easy. The 8 Dimensions of Readiness 1. Trustworthy leadership 2. Trusting followers 3. Capable champions 4. Involved middle management 5. Innovative culture 6. Accountable culture 7. Effective communication 8. Systems thinking Force field analysis: identify the driving & restraining forces to change. How to Ready an Organization for Change: 1. Creating a crisis. 2. Develop a vision that creates dissatisfaction with the status quo. 3. Finding a champion of change leader who will build awareness of the need for change and articulate the vision. The essential first two steps of the change process are discerning the organization's readiness and then readying it for change. The Simplest Way to Understand the Process of Change – What doesn't work: Data, Think Different, Change Behavior. – What Works: See, Feel, Change. – Most of the reason we don't change is because of deeply held emotion, not logic. If we're going to create change, we must operate the same way.
JANUARY- i have no expectations for my progress i'm honestly just trying to get by i feel okay If theres anything Ive learned since the new year or right before from being chronically online its that I don't have to treat myself as a brand I don't have to constantly strive to become a better human and constantly try to kill all my bad habits as a creature of comfort I want to just start making decisions that I wouldn't always necessarily do I am starting a new job now and maybe start being more outgoing and confident and just social I know that I will have a lot of changes in this next year and I don't have to be perfect I want to make sure I am manifesting and checking in with tarot readers for transits and stuff because if there is anything I fell in love with at a certain time last year it is spirituality I didn't start my dreadlocks in January but that Is okay I don't even necessarily have to start them this year to still be moving towards that goal Choices I feel like thats what is most important Cold showers making a small change and sticking with it trying not to be a creature of habit and begin to do different things Today I started my first day at my new job in the closest city and I just feel so happy and excited working in a city felt so cool and I am so excited to be in this next path of my life I feel like ive gotten to the point where congratulating myself doing the bare minimum is New Years resolutions success like I didn't do a grocery pickup order I walked around the store and for me thats a success and something that I also used as an eating disorder weightloss tool when I wos in the heat of it I don't know its kind of just sad Not having to make yourself a brand I think the best thing I have heard and realized this month is that I dont have to work on this timeline I can move at my own pace and still reach my goals I wasnt forcing myself to eat a clean diet this month or anything like that but instead just following my body and the things I felt like doing I dont have to make myself this brand that is constantly doing and doing I feel like I will stop doing whatever I am trying to accomplish quickly I just try to make a change here or there and be mindful I finally scheduled my appointment for dreads and I think I am ready for this journey honestly i sturggled a lot this month with food and getting outside and getting my anxiety under wraps and it's something that i think will change this year DECEMBER- I can feel my manifestations starting to unfold which is exciting and hopefully everything will go as planned for so long ive always told people compliments but i haven't been very transparent something ive been doing that i'm not sure if it's consciously or not is telling people their strengths and things i admire in them but also being transparent about what i need from others something i have never been good at it boundaries are definitely something i am still learning still strong on no fast food no soda and i also cut off coffee shocking so shocking this month has felt like the build up before a big cry like many days after work i get in my car and just break down the holidays are coming up and i've come such a long way but i still feel like i don't measure up id love to end this saying that i feel good and great and amazing and excited for the next year and while im excited im also judy really sad i miss feeling like i have a place to call home i think i miss living in a house and feeling loved you know which is sad but just true im struggling a little bit and that's okay i started taking ashwagandha to soothe my anxiety and ive stuck with some of my healthier habits but i think in my career i feel shitty first christmas alone coming up and im nervous but i know i will be okay ive fallen back in love with this podcast and being creative so im excited to get back into that element soon thanks for listening and i hope everyone had a great holiday and new years :) --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/al4s/message

Everything in your life can change without anything changing! Back in January, I did an interview with my dear friend @wisdomwithtrish where we discussed my journey to learning about the world of life coaching and mind management. I was living a life filled with overwhelm, exhaustion, worry, and anxiety. In our interview, you'll hear how nothing changed in my world…I still had special needs kids to care for…but how everything changed as I learned how to manage my mind around my circumstances to create a life I LOVE! While learning this work, I started feeling passionately about helping other families in my situation find the peace, joy, and clarity I found, which is why I became a certified life coach. I now help parents and caregivers of special needs or medically complex family members create a life they love. A conversation with Margaret Heffernan. In this wide-ranging episode, Tracey talks to Margaret Heffernan about the importance of paying attention to what is not being said - as well as learning to listen closely to others who have a very different perspective and experience of life. She ponders the limits and oversimplifying 'narrative tidiness' of stories told in the present about complex situations, as well as the blundering misuse of big data. She reflects on the inadequacy of what is still an essentially 19th century education system and the need for lifelong learning as we embark on Uncharted territory. She laments how many management processes seem designed precisely to constrain rather than enable experimentation, creativity and flexibility - the expression of our neuroplasticity. Margaret refers back to her earlier book, 'How She Does It', as she talks about the different way in which women lead and establish systems in organisations. Thinking about an unknown future she hopes for a world where we can all be more curious, ask better questions, one where we are prepared to give up some of our comforts for the good of the next generation and, as leaders, tell the hard truths as we see them rather than settling for short term, easy lies that lead to the costly erosion of trust that we are currently living through. It’s a little wild in this episode as I record this while on the road in my RV, but the sound of thunder is the perfect backdrop to get my message across. One deal can literally change the entire trajectory of your business, so I want you to hang in there and keep trucking away.We just finished walking through a deal that would’ve paid the sales guys, the dispositions, and me, plus it would’ve rebuilt the marketing budget. The sellers wanted it. We wanted it. Everyone was on board. But the foundation issues were too much and we had to drop it. But one deal doesn’t make or break our business.Every deal builds on the next deal, and those little wins will start to add up. If you’re ready to have somebody help you stay accountable and on track, I’d love to see if we’d be a good fit. В этом выпуске : ВЛАД ГЛЕБОВИЧ - SIX ELEMENTS (U.S.A.) И уж совсем завораживает неожиданная "In The Warmth Of The Evening" с ее "темными" вокальными гармониями и сумрачно-психоделической атмосферой.
01. Seconds - 1:47 02. Cant Stop The Clock - 7:22 03. Everything Can Change - 5:13 04. Pages - 15:23 05. Genius - 5:48 06. In The Warmth Of The Evening - 10:42 07. Something Worth Dying For - 5:31 08. Someone Elses Fault - 10:14 09. Minutes - 1:08 Total Time: 63:10 Band: Hasse Frberg - vocals, guitar Anton Lindsj - lead guitar Ola Strandberg - drums Kjell Haraldsson - keyboards Thomas Thomsson - bass
