I've coached both BOYS and GIRLS TEAMS for many years, and let me state the obvious, there is a significant difference in the speed, power, strength, agility, and endurance between boys and girls. That's not just my opinion, that is a physiological fact. We are watching Men compete against, dominate, and cause harm to Women in sports all across the world. We're watching as they take opportunities and awards from our girls AND it's time to say enough is enough. The fight to protect women and girls in sports is FAR FROM OVER.Meet Jennifer Sey.Jennifer an author, filmmaker, business executive, and the 1986 US Women's All-Around National Champion is artistic gymnastics. Jennifer wrote the book “Chalked Up” which exposed abuses in the sport of gymnastics, produced the powerful 2020 Emmy award winning documentary “Athlete A” on Netflix, wrote LEVI'S UNBUTTONED – detailing how the woke mob took her job, but gave her her voice! ... and today... she is the Founder and CEO of her own clothing brand – XX-XY ATHLETICS – the only athletic brand to stand up for women's sports and female athletes.

Picture yourself living what seems like a regular life as a parent and entrepreneur, where everything seems uneventful and you have every reason to expect the rest of your life to follow a pretty straightforward path. You know, everything's FINE.Then, one day you go to pick up your kids from school and all of a sudden you're seeing double.Next thing you know, your life has been turned completely upside-down, your legs are numb and you're sitting in a wheelchair. In what version of reality could you picture yourself becoming an Olympic weightlifter just five years later? This is Kim Rahir's story of how Fine is a 4-Letter Word.Fortunately, she was raised with two values that would support her through her unexpected midlife journey – always be ready to show up and perform, and conscientiously show respect for people and take them as you find them.Along with these values, she became a person who did not wallow in self-pity or claim victimhood status. There was no asking “why me?” when faced with adversity. When she first started seeing double that day when she was 45 and picking her kids up from school, her doctor suggested she might be experiencing a cerebral hemorrhage and urged her to hail the next taxi to the hospital. After a long series of tests combined with the onset of additional health issues, it eventually became apparent she had Multiple Sclerosis (MS).Now wait – five years later she was at the gym training to become an Olympic-level weightlifter? As you're about to discover, her doctor discouraged her from doing it in a way that indicated he didn't want to be involved. She was told to take all sorts of injections that made her feel worse, and ultimately traded them in for some ibuprofen. All of it made her feel disrespected, and she had to find a way to reclaim her power. This isn't the outcome you'd imagine for someone who has Multiple Sclerosis - nor would you picture her becoming a fitness coach helping women feel fabulous doing 15 minutes of work each day.In a moment, when you meet Kim, you'll be awestruck by her comeback story.Kim's hype song is “Far From Over” by Frank Stallone.Resources:Kim Rahir's website: https://kimrahir.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kim-rahir/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kim.rahir/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kim.rahir/ Take Kim Rahir's free Strength and Health Assessment today to find out exactly where you are at and what will be your best next steps: https://link.roasmail.com/widget/survey/GiXtvmtUw9cHkOlCRRLG Invitation from Lori:In my special guide, 5 Easy Ways to Start Living the Sabbatical Life, you'll discover, step-by-step, how you can stop settling for “fine” and look at your life with a fresh set of eyes even if, like many people in today's high-speed world, you're not in a position to take a month or year-long sabbatical. You know how you normally hear the disclaimer “Don't try this at home!” In this case, you CAN try this at home. And not just “try,” DO. On this episode of Fabulous Film & Friends we're going to do a deep-dive, as corporate folks love to say, into the mentality and megalomania of late 80's Sylvester Stallone as evidenced by his 1988 rippling deltoids and rocket launcher extravaganza, Rambo III. I'm joined by David Johnson, D.M.D. He's a Salt Lake City Area Dentist Supreme and a Crossfit Animal, which is why I asked him to join me today as we revisit this benchmark film in our movie going lives. Dave and I have been friends since Middle School and we saw many a classic blockbuster together in the rural area where we grew up, including Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, Back To The Future and Die Hard. But I think the most fun we had was when we saw Rambo III. We address the elephant in the room: Rambo III? Wasn't that the Worst of the Rambo movies until Rambo: Last Blood came and went into the theaters in 2019? This isn't a fabulous film. Or is it?And that's the question we're going to ponder today. Notes:This podcast was recorded on July 25th, 2021, two weeks before the sad and terrible incidents in Afghanistan during August of 2021. Frank Stallone's hit from Staying Alive was called "Far From Over", which made it to #10 on Billboard's Top 100 in 1983. Helicopters: According to IMDB, "The Mi-24 Hind-A (large glazed cockpit as opposed to two small tandem cockpits for the later D version onwards of the type) helicopters seen in the film are in fact modified Aerospatiale SA 330 Puma transport helicopters with fabricated bolt-on wings similar to the real Hind-A's used in the former Soviet bloc nations." Aerospatiale was a French Aviation/Aerospace manufacturer.

The Frank Stallone Documentary - 'Stallone: Frank, That Is' Available in Canada on Youtube & Google Play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UPTzODh-6k&has_verified=1 Grammy and Golden Globe nominated artist Frank Stallone is one of the most versatile actors, singers and musicians in the business. His explosive voice and his range from comedy to drama and rock to blues to big band, leaves audiences entertained and captivated. Frank has garnered three Platinum Albums, ten Gold Albums and five Gold Singles and has acted in over 60 films and TV shows including Walker Texas Ranger, multiple sitcoms and variety shows, Hudson Hawk, Staying Alive, Fred Claus, and Tombstone, in which he made a big impact as “Ed Bailey,” a dangerous gunslinger. One of his most memorable film roles was as “Eddie,” the bartender in Barfly, which was touted by critic Roger Ebert: “Barfly is a terrific film that features an outstanding performance by Frank Stallone…he's both captivating and terrifying at the same time.” Frank has written and published over 200 songs and, with his newest single in The Expendables 2 (Don't Want to Fight With Me), has written and recorded compositions for nine films, including Rocky I, II and III, Rambo II, Paradise Alley and Over the Top. But, it was Frank's nine songs that he wrote and recorded for the Saturday Night Fever Sequel Staying Alive that earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Sound Track and a Grammy nomination for Best Original Song with his single, Far From Over. That song became a massive number#1 hit around the world and stayed on the top charts for more than four months. At a young age, the Maryland-born, Philadelphia-raised native pursued his musical ambitions, forming a series of bands, and finally turned professional at the tender age of 15 (“I had to lie about my age,” admits Frank). His group, Valentine, included lead guitarist John Oates (Hall and Oates) and was signed to RCA Records in 1975, when they recorded their first album. Frank made his on-screen singing debut, performing the self-penned acapella song, Take You Back in the opening scene of the film Rocky. “The only reason I got the part was that I was the only musician my brother, Sylvester, knew…and I worked cheap.” Frank has recorded nine solo albums receiving praise from legends Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Sammy Cahn. His rock-influenced Full Circle, “which I feel is my best” was followed by his American songbook albums, In Love in Vain, with Sammy Nestico, Stallone on Stallone by Request, a compilation of Frank's film soundtrack tunes, and Songs from the Saddle, showing Frank's more acoustic side. He's a big fan favorite in Australia and he performs in concert halls, theaters and clubs all around the world, gaining critical acclaim wherever he goes “he has the crowd enthralled.” (New York Daily News) Frank is a guitar, music, mafia and art aficionado, is one of the best boxing historians and collectors in the world and is an avid collector of guitars, guns and memorabilia. When he's not writing songs or filming a project, he can be found on a shooting range or at the gym but he's happiest with a guitar, beautiful women and good glass of vino. If you ask why he's never been married, he'll tell you “I guess I just forgot.”

Tasha K failed to read the room from the first interview with Jaguar Wright. People were angry with the way Tasha handled Jaguar during that interview. Tasha's strategy to "expose" Jaguar as a liar, broke and fraudulent backfired. The interrogative style interview left a bad taste in the viewer's mouth. There was an overwhelming feeling from viewers that she was going behind her Mentee #Storm Monroe to steal his "Shine". The first viral and professional interview with Jaguar was done by Storm Monroe (Tasha's mentee). People were so angry and disappointed with Tasha, thousands unsubscribed. Tasha was visibly shaken, she was not used to such anger from her viewers. Tasha has been trying to get to 1 million subscribers and She was on that road to 1 million by the end of the year 2020. At the time of the first Jaguar wright interview, Tasha k (#UnwinewithTashaK) was seating pretty at 845K subscribers. Tasha underestimated the support Jaguar had. Tasha's followers believe Jaguar. The people want jaguar to keep "exposing" heavyweights of the entertainment industry. She was telling people how the elites behave (badly behind closed doors) and all the allegedly illegal, nasty, dirty games they play with people's lives. Understandably, Tasha was hurt and disappointed her followers (WINOs) were leaving. She blamed the exodus on Jaguar. The irrational thinking made her turn her angry to Jaguar. She theorized "EXPOSING" further with "Receipts" will convince people Jaguar is a Fraud and help her not only regain the followers she lost but add more. It BACKFIRED. Yet, again there was a failure to read the room. In this recording (that can be found on YouTube at UnwinewithtashaK) she tries again to poke holes in Jaguar's stories. Well, you can guess what happened next...Tasha lost more subscribers making her path to 1 million subscribers by the end of 2020 difficult. Tasha went from 845k to down to 817K subscribers. Tasha dug the hole even deeper for herself. I believe she finally gets it, don't mess with Jaguar. Time will tell if Jaguar is lying. I must say, Jaguar Wright's stories don't all add up, there are inconsistencies. Tasha were not mad at Tasha for wanting to get to the truth, the issue was how she went about it. Her crude way of exposing people did not work this time. There's now a call by some content creators to de-platform Tasha K. Do I believe this is the end of Tasha K's YouTube career? NO, Tasha's career is FAR FROM OVER. In fact, this was a much needed humble pie for Tasha. This needed to happen to help her grow. I sure hope she has learned something. People are now trying to de-platform Tasha, A CALL I DO NOT AGREE WITH. Her entertainment style is needed on social media. She's not everyone's cup of tea but she is a lot of people's entertainment. #JaguarWright #JaguarwrightTashak #unwinewithTashaK #lovelyti #ArmonWigginsJaguarWright #Aaliyah #Jaguarwrightanddiddy Jaguar Wright is exposing industry secrets. #MaryJBlige #diddy #JaguarWright #TevinCampbell #MaryJBlige #ChristopherWilliams #Twitter news #TashaKdrama #Fakenews #YoutubeDrama #Drama #celebrity gossip #CelebrityNews #tiktokviral #lovelyti #Tashak #unwinewithtashak #shaderoom #Jeffreestar #JamesCharles #trendingnews #Breakingnews #viral #funny #comedy #satire #Youtubevideos #CardiB #Candaceowens #DAngeloWallace --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mwenya5/support

Musician Vijay Iyer was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Instrumental Album in 2010 for his album, Historicity. His 2017 album, Far From Over, was cited by Rolling Stone as “2017’s jazz album to beat.” He is a MacArthur Fellow and professor at Harvard University. Iyer, however, does not call himself a jazz musician but a creative musician, a term he says that, “has been in circulation for more than fifty years” and was “made up by Black musicians...[who] have resisted the racial tag in their music because they want to assert that their music can mean something to anyone, and they want to define the terms in which that happens. That’s the history and the legacy that I’m the beneficiary of.”

Happy 2018! First, I would like to wish you all the best in this new year that’s among us. And may all your goals and dreams come true in the next twelve months. We hope you enjoyed our classic edition, it was so much fun going back and listening to old tunes; something I enjoy doing quite often. Moving into 2018, for this month we have tunes by Gabriel & Dresden, The Blizzard, 4 Strings and a remix by Spencer Brown for Above & Beyond taken from their upcoming album “Common Ground”. The classic for January comes from Kamaya Painters aka Benno De Goeij & Tiesto. Soft Light wasn’t as big as Endless Wave or Far From Over, but I really enjoy this track. Hope you enjoy the first episode of the year and don’t forget, let us know on Twitter or Facebook. *Leave a rating & review on iTunes, it helps. Please join us for a very special hour with guest Frank Stallone. Grammy and Golden Globe nominated artist Frank Stallone is one of the most versatile actors, singers and musicians in the business. Frank has garnered three Platinum Albums, ten Gold Albums and five Gold Singles and has acted in over 60 films and TV shows. He has written and published over 200 songs and has written and recorded compositions for eight films, including Rocky I, II and III, Rambo II, Paradise Alley and Over the Top. But, it was Frank's eleven songs that he wrote and recorded for the Saturday Night Fever Sequel Staying Alive that earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Sound Track and a Grammy nomination for Best Original Song with his single, Far From Over. “The only reason I got the part was that I was the only musician my brother, Sylvester, knew…and I worked cheap.” Frank is a guitar, boxing, music, mafia and art aficionado and is an avid collector of guitars, guns and boxing memorabilia. When he's not writing songs or filming a project, he can be found on a shooting range or at the gym.
