(September 16, 2025 - Hour One)9:14pm - Tonight we, hopefully, bring a resolution to the months long "non-payment" of a bet between Matt Osman and Sam The Cooking Guy. Matt bet Sam's YouTube Channel would hit 4MM subscribers by May 1st. He was so confident, that he bet Sam $2,000 he would accomplish this goal. Matt was wrong. However, months later, there has been no payment to Sam. We will get the full background on the story and we will also work out payment. We will also have fun and frivolity along the way.9:35pm - 3rd Tuesday of the month regular guest and creator of Cookoputnews.com, Wes Wright, joins me to talk about the past 30 days of business in the BBQ and Grilling world. The BBQ Central Show SponsorsPrimo GrillsBig Poppa Smokers – Use promo code “REMPE15” for 15% off your entire purchase!FireboardPit Barrel CookerMicallef Cigars – Premium Hand Rolled Cigars

Malcom breaks down his new pellet grill tomahawk steak recipe—and it turned out perfect, with surprisingly simple steps (01:49). Dove season just kicked off last weekend, and to celebrate, Malcom fired up some homemade pizzas on the Grilla Pie-ro oven (21:07). The team dives into why a Primo Ceramic Grill might be your next must-have cooker (43:00). Our community pick'em league is in full swing—but Malcom's not exactly at the top of the leaderboard (43:50). What if something as simple as a pulled pork sandwich could remind people they aren't forgotten? In this episode of Your Biggest Breakthrough, we sit down with Stan Hays, co-founder of Operation Barbecue Relief, whose story began in the aftermath of the devastating Joplin tornado. What started with a few smokers in a parking lot has now grown into an organization that's served over 13 million meals in disaster zones and communities in need.We loved this conversation because it's not just about barbecue, it's about faith in action, taking that first step without having all the answers, and discovering your “why” through serving others. You'll hear how God used ordinary skills and a willing heart to meet extraordinary needs, and how something as simple as food can unify people, restore hope, and remind them of love.If you've ever wondered how to find your purpose, where to start serving, or whether your gifts really matter, this episode is for you. Stan's story will challenge you, inspire you, and encourage you that God can use your passion, no matter what it is, to change lives.

Chris and Christina Dunyon of SinBin BBQ are a Utah-based husband-and-wife team who have spent the last 4 years chasing their passion for competition barbecue in SCA, the World Food Championships, BBQ Backyard, and KCBS. What started as a backyard hobby quickly grew into a shared adventure. In the SCA, Chris has earned Golden Tickets in steak and Christina in ancillaries, and together they've been honored to qualify and compete at the SCA World Championships. At the World Food Championships, Christina's 2nd place finish in Taste of America and Rookie of the Year award opened the door to 2024 and 2025 appearances, with Chris proudly serving as her sous chef. Their journey began in backyard BBQ contests, where they worked hard and were humbled to win their way into the KCBS Master Series in just 1.5 years. Since then, they've traveled across Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, and Oregon, grateful to hear their names called at every KCBS contest this season, including earning 2 Reserved Grand Champions and 2 coveted 700 Club scores. Off the circuit, Chris works as a master electrician, Christina manages a school kitchen, and together they raise their blended family of 8 kids—always thankful for the chance to cook, compete, and share great BBQ with others.

Wild game steaks provide a sustainable and flavorful alternative to conventional beef. Understanding the anatomy of the animal helps in selecting the best cuts. Leg steaks are often a result of lazy butchering practices. The backstrap is one of the most prized cuts due to its tenderness. Cooking in stainless steel or cast iron enhances the flavor through the Maillard reaction. An excellent sear and browning is crucial for steak. Cast iron pans retain and evenly distribute heat well. Always preheat your pan to avoid food sticking. Grilling requires two heat zones for optimal cooking. Let your steak rest to redistribute juices. Sauces should enhance, not cover up the meat's flavor. Brown butter is a simple yet effective sauce. Experiment with different cooking methods for steak. Avoid overcooking steak in sous vide to prevent mushiness. Quality seasoning enhances the steak without overpowering it.
