My views on it vs my "friends'" views and my uncensored opinion on it and my "friend"....and his views. Jsyk, it is just me talking, no one else. Though maybe one day we will talk c; who knows. In this episode, J.Flo has some girlfriend gab time with Patty Barba as they talk about how quarantine isn’t all that bad, some of the good to come out of it, along with fashion, life, and their favorite binge watches. Guest, Patty, has gone from a teen and single mom, raising a special needs son, to a doting wife, entrepreneur, influencer, all-round amazing woman and is now trying to reinvent herself. The gals commiserate over trying to define and reinvent themselves, even thinking about starting their own Reinvention Crisis Center … but not really. Patty shares sound advice, not just for this chaotic time in life: If you don’t adapt, you sink; and fashion advice: If you can find it everywhere it is on its way out. Patty gives Jflo some makeup advice after she thought her makeup game was on point … until they got on video chat. The Lazy Ster topic selector game takes a fun twist when Patty turns the table on JFlo with the curiously intriguing question of, “Would you rather relive last year or a year of teenage years?” JFlo promptly wrote it down to add to her repertoire. Another special guest appears, not once but twice! Little Flo, JFLo's daughter comes in to ask permission to play outside and for JFlo to come watch her friends do a show. And finally, JFlo asked her famous last line, “Just so you know …” as Patty did not disappoint with her response. Follow Patty on Insta, TikTok and Facebook @stilettosandsincity and her website stilettosandsincity.com. In this episode of Tuesday's Special, J.Flo talks with Kelli Kristo, executive director of Project 150 in Las Vegas. This organization helps homeless teens within the Clark County School District by providing them with food distribution, education and empowerment classes, Betty's Boutique, additional resources and a scholarship program. Originating in December 2011 after a local news station ran a story on a high school that had 150 homeless students. What started out as a "Quick! Let's help in any way we can" has since turned into a year-round operating organization. In the podcast, J.Flo and Kelli talk about how Project 150 is helping those in need particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Families who have never had to use a food pantry before are now using their food pantry, fundraising events have been cancelled and students who rely on school transportation aren't able to get all of their needs met without in-person school. If you would like to organize a donation drive or make a donation, Project 150 accepts non-perishable items; new and like-new, trendy clothing (shoes, accessories, undergarments, hats, outerwear, etc.) and full-size hygiene items. To learn more about Project 150, please visit project150.org on social @project150lvDonations can be received Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 3600 N. Rancho Drive in Las Vegas.

In a new semi-weekly series, host J.Flo tackles real-life topics with those who have been through it, experienced it and lived to tell about it. November is National Adoption month, a month set aside to raise awareness about the urgent need for adoptive families for children and youth in foster care. In honor of the month, J.Flo talks with her friend Laura about her family's experience adopting a pre-teen from the foster care system in Texas. After taking a lengthy trip down memory lane -- both gals lived in Las Vegas together and recount some memories of "back in the day" -- Laura shares her reasons for looking into the foster system, what it was like to go through the process and where they are today. In episode 12, a long-time friend of J.Flo’s joins her in studio to talk about how a three-month trip turned into a four-year journey. In part 1, guest Ronda Taylor of HeartWork Travels and HeartWork creative shared her experience of selling everything she had, buying a one-way ticket to South America and overpacking her bags before setting off on what was to be a three-month solo journey. With little more than the bags on her back and an idea of where she would stay for the first month, Ronda shares what finally pushed her to make this life-changing trip and how, four years later, the journey hasn’t ended. From language barriers to theft to being escorted off of a bus by the military, she details what she has learned about the world, most importantly herself and what is next … even amid a worldwide pandemic. In a lighthearted episode 11, two of JFlo's internet friends, Jennie & Ryan Custodio, were passing through Las Vegas from California on a family RV trip. So, of course, they had to record a podcast. Except ... it started after they were day drinking, so we apologize in advance for the excessive talking over each other and things making absolutely zero sense. Before Ryan joins in, the girls, also known as J2, discuss how wedding planning online brought them together over 10 years ago and when they met IRL, or real people as their daughter would say. They prank call Spousey and share why their husbands aren't their emergency contacts -- they can't be the only ones? The discussion of how they ended up in an RV with their three kids for five days reminds JFlo why she is one-and-done with having kids. Jennie shares all about her 2020 and why her theme is “Shift & Pivot.” Say it with us: PIVOTTTT. When they finally (& thankfully!) start to wrap up, you will learn who the who the candle hoarder is in their house -- it may surprise you — and finish with the Lazy Step Topic Selector. Enjoy! Holly is a mother of five, lover of nature and music, and heals souls by providing a safe place for those willing to freely share their lives with her. She has an MA in Mental Health Counseling, is certified in Advanced Theta Healing™, Trauma Recovery Yoga™, and Zumba™ (why not – dancing is healing). JSYK DERAILED Oh it’s on. Derailed thats what we did. This show was more or less what we learned in 2018. Also what we did and what we would like to see in the 2019 and the future. Drew and I (Chris) just went a little off track but we moved back on the rails and finished the year strong. We also spilled some secrets on what will be coming soon this year from other podcast shows and youtube ideas. Should be an interesting adventure to come and hope everyone jumps on board for the ride. I'm sure you didn't expect that we would go in this direction. But what i've learned is that if you're going to do something crazy you might as well take some friends and go for it. Hosted by Chris and Drew Follow us on Twitter @JamesCSherry1 @Dtharaldson

E talks about the tumultuous relationships that some people have with the holidays, and discusses the wild things that go down on Turkey day. She highlights some of the things that irk her the most, but also discusses the things she's thankful for, too. This is a just-slightly-above mediocre survival guide for everyone heading into Thanksgiving who may be dealing with some anxiety or concerns regarding this holiday or time of year. Greetings! On this episode of JSYK, join host E*Dreezy as she explores one of her favorite topics - MOISTURIZING. Just because the sun may be peeking out here and there doesn't mean it's now okay to walk around with cracked elbows or heels that can double as firewood. She discusses the ways in which dry skin affects us all and brings back a beloved segment to help provide an illustration. Additionally, she reminisces on the good ole days of Disney Channel and provides a loving drag (warning shot) to other Zodiac signs that have the urge to trash talk the Gemini lifestyle.
