(22:56) Break 1 Ronny - I did a consecration in 2021. Approved by Pope Francis. It's a consecration to Jesus over 33 days. We read the 4 gospels, pray, fast on Wednesdays and at the end, we receive 5 topics. (29:48) David - Question: I've never consecrated myself to anything. I'm wondering if I might have missed an opportunity. There was a time that St. Faustina kept coming up before I even knew who she was. (38:24) Break 2 (39:17) What do you do in a consecration? Is it okay to be consecrated to multiple Saints? "Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than they ask. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion." Diary of St. Faustina, 1146Mercy is not just a characteristic of God, it is an essential part of Who He is. Mercy is a core attribute of God. Jesus reveals the infinite depths of God's mercy and compassion to us - in His life and ministry, in His revelations to saints such as St. Faustina, in our own lives, and in the Song of Songs. Join Father Michael Stalla and Laura Ercolino in a conversation about the merciful love of Christ the Bridegroom.

Day 29: What Is Trust?FINAL FIVE DAYS: Synthesis and ReviewAs our consecration day approaches, we call to mind all that we have reflected on in these past four weeks: Trust, The Little Way, The Offering to Merciful Love, and Darkness. Let us hand over all of ourselves to Jesus as we prepare for this act of consecration of ourselves to Him!If you would like to support the work of Dry Bones Ministries please visit drybonespgh.org.
WEEK FOUR: Into the DarknessThis week, we look at the darkness that we experience in our lives. St. Therese experienced a deep darkness towards the end of her life, but continued to trust, abandoning herself to Merciful Love time and time again. Fr. Adam Potter helps us understand how we can continue to offer ourselves to Merciful Love, even in our darkness. Day 22: The Darkness of Sin If you would like to support the work of Dry Bones Ministries please visit drybonespgh.org.
WEEK THREE: The Offering to Merciful LoveSt. Therese entrusted herself entirely to the Lord: showing itself in the Offering to Merciful Love. Her consecration to Jesus is what we are journeying towards. This same and total abandonment to Jesus' love and mercy that St. Therese encompassed. This week, Fr. Adam helps us unpack what is this Offering to Merciful Love, and how we can participate in this consecration ourselves. Day 15: What It's NotIf you would like to support the work of Dry Bones Ministries please visit drybonespgh.org.
In today's episode, Fr. Adam Potter begins by walking us through the introduction to this consecration to Merciful Love and why we should entrust our lives to the Divine Mercy. We are introduced to a very special Saint and friend: St. Therese of Lisieux. She will accompany us as we prepare to abandon ourselves to Divine Mercy, where we will follow after her way of consecration. Join us in our journey towards Christ's Most Sacred Heart with our friend and companion, St. Therese! If you would like to support the work of Dry Bones Ministries please visit drybonespgh.org.
This is a recording from a talk given at The World Is Noisy God Whispers Retreat, "The Abyss of Christ's Merciful Love," by Journeys Revealed Ministries.
Episode 82: "Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, / for they have been from of old. / Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; / according to your steadfast love remember me, / for your goodness' sake, O Lord!" - Psalm 25:6–7 Tune in to this episode as author and host Julia Monnin invites listeners to join her at the 4th annual "The World Is Noisy - God Whispers"® Retreat titled "The Abyss of Christ's Merciful Love." In this episode, Julia shares Reflection #352, "Removed and Set Free from the Past" found in her book "The World Is Noisy - God Whispers: Volume II, My Trials and Tribulations" as she reminds us that this freedom from our sins is a gift of God's mercy that we have all been given, we just have to continuously choose to receive it. /// "For years, Lord, I carried around the guilt of my past. For years, I refused to look back because I simply couldn't; doing so brought with it a pain I simply couldn't endure while, at the same time, moving on from my past and being charitable with myself. And yet now, by your grace, I can look back on it with gratitude and even joy. And not because my mistakes weren't many and great (because they really were), but because of how far removed from them the ocean of your mercy has made me. And so, thank you for completing the healing work of your mercy in me! May you continue to do so, whether I am an active participant in this healing or not. I love you! I thank you! I praise you!" - Julia's closing prayer from Reflection #352, "Removed and Set Free from the Past" --- Learn more at --> theworldisnoisy.com | journeysrevealed.com Retreat info --> journeysrevealed.com/retreat-registration

The word freedom has been distorted out of all relationship to its true meaning. Modernists see freedom as the ability to do whatever they want, without having any regard to its consequences, either on ourselves or others. However, that brand of so-called freedom leads to bondage. It destroys ourselves and others in a more total way than any chains or prison bars actually could. Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, often referred to as “The Little Flower,” offers us a perfect example of the proper use of freedom. The founder of the International TFP movement, Professor Plinio Correa de Olivera, considered this dimension of Saint Therese's writings in a talk that he gave on April 17, 1967. The Return to Order Moment offers its listeners excerpts of that talk as published in the January Two Thousand Twenty-Two issue of the American TFP's Saint Gabriel Bulletin.

In this presentation, Frances Harry, OCDS, speculates on what it looks like when God is our sanctity, especially as seen in the life and words of St. Therese of Lisieux. It follows from part one of the same title which discussed this phrase which was used in St. Therese's famous prayer, “Act of Oblation to Merciful Love.” Through the example of St. Therese, we too, can imitate her and pray this prayer with all confidence. Resources: “Story of A Soul, Study Edition” by St. Therese of Lisieux, prepared by Marc Foley, OCD; ICS Publications. “Something New with Saint Therese: Her Eucharistic Miracle” by Suzie Andres, OCDS; Little Way Books. “Lessons from Saint Therese: The Wisdom of God's Little Flower” by John Paul Thomas; www.mycatholic.life Excerpt from St. Therese of Lisieux's “Act of Oblation to Merciful Love” “O My God! Most Blessed Trinity, I desire to Love You and make You Loved, to work for the glory of Holy Church by saving souls on earth and liberating those suffering in purgatory. I desire to accomplish Your will perfectly and to reach the degree of glory You have prepared for me in Your Kingdom. I desire, in a word, to be a saint, but I feel my helplessness and I beg You, O my God! to be Yourself my Sanctity!”
Frances Harry, OCDS, discusses, “God, Be Yourself My Sanctity," a phrase used by St. Therese of Lisieux in her famous prayer, “The Act of Oblation to Merciful Love,” found in her book, “Story of a Soul.” What does St. Therese really mean in this part of her prayer? Is it possible? And is it possible for us? Frances Harry, OCDS, helps us work through these questions and more. She was particularly delighted when a kindred spirit decided to write a book about this. It is called: “Something New with Saint Therese: Her Eucharistic Miracle” by Suzie Andres, OCDS. This highly recommended book will really help you understand what St. Therese meant in this part of her prayer. Dive in! You'll be glad you did. There are spiritual challenges here that will help each of us to grow in prayer and in union with God.

What does it mean theologically that men are always fertile while women are only fertile for a fraction of each month? My boyfriend has a past of watching porn. . . it is very hard for me to feel beautiful and confident in front around him because I know that it must have effected his ideas and expectations of what the female body should look like. Any advice? I want to love and cherish my husband and be intimate with him but I am struggling with being able to be aroused. We've been married for eight years and have two young kids with a third on the way. I find I can't separate the frustrations of the day from our intimate time and I'm constantly thinking negative thoughts about his attempts to get me in the mood. I get frustrated with him and myself for not being able to be aroused and half the time we justt give up. Why can't I be aroused by my husband anymore? Help me to see temptations and even my falls and sins as opportunities to cry out for His saving hand, to receive His healing love, and to trust in His Mercy. Take me by the hand, Mother Mary, and lead me back to His Most Compassionate Heart each and every time I wander astray. Amen."
