In this episode, the boys get into heated discussions about certain brands they like but mostly about certain brands they hate. Please read the following for the SparkNotes version of this conversation: Clase - “F*!% Honey, this is my anti-Honey ad.” Mason - “I kinda want Raycon earbuds!” Clase - “F*!% Raycon earbuds.” Mason - “Skullcandy is coming out with new earbuds too!” Clase - “F*!% Skullcandy earbuds.” Mason - “F*!% Raid Shadow Legends.” Landen - “F*!% MeUndies.” Mason - “I like Gillette for my balls!” Landen - “F*!% Dude Wipes.” Clase - “F*!% you Landen.” After enjoying this fine example of scholarly oratory, stick around as Mason brings back a segment from Episode 76: D&D at the office. Join fedora-wearing Erick and fidget-spinning Ryan as they meet Grilda, the resident office basement dweller. Next, Clase brings a new game to the podcast called “How Dumb Is Alexa,” a fun new word game that drives Mason and Landen up a wall. Special thanks to our sponsor: O’Reilly Auto Parts. John Burkhauser is currently employed at BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY as the Director of Education, a job that allows him to use a lifetime of learning experience day in and day out. John dreamed of being a meteorologist but found out college wasn’t for him. When his car failed the state inspection, that was the day his career was decided on. John went to Pennco Tech to attend the Auto Gas and Diesel program. After graduation, John started work in a dealership where he went from a “D” technician to an “A” technician in a few short years. He also added shop foreman to his resume. During this time, John became certified as an ASE Master Technician and Advanced Level Technician which he still maintains. Crossing to the other side of service, he became a service adviser winning the Ford Silver Medallion award. He then became a Service Manager for a large dealership. John also worked in the independent aftermarket. He then applied to be an instructor at a post-secondary automotive training school where he taught basic electrical and HVAC courses for the better part of ten years. Fortune would change his career path again when John learned about BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY and became part of the team. On The Daily: The RotoViz Daily Fantasy Sports Podcast, powered by RotoViz Radio, hosted by Matthew Freedman and Nick Giffen. Matt and Nick break down the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. They discuss how the new areodynamic package might impact racing at the recently reconfigured and repaved 1.5-mile oval and what data should be used in creating a model for the race. They close with a discussion on the drivers who have historically dominated at Texas and who looks over- or undervalued.
Kevin Harvick has won two of the last five races here, and has an average finish of 2.8 in that five race span. He’s averaging 75.8 laps led and 50 fastest laps in those five races. He’s also averaging the most fantasy points in that span. Chase Elliott has an average starting spot of 22.8 with an average finish of 7.6 in the last five races here. The average of +15 place differential, is the most by any active driver in that span. After showing some speed last weekend, I like his upside for Texas. Ty Dillon is in his third full-time Cup season, and it’s looking to be his best season yet. He’s finished 17th and 13th in the two Spring Races here, and has positive place differential in four of five career races here. ---------------------- For Bristol Tickets or Information Click here - http://bit.ly/BristolFantasyShow --------------------- Thank you for listening to Bristol Radio! Tim was practically born into working on cars. His dad worked at an automotive repair business and Tim immediately took a liking to cars. When he turned 14, he got a compact truck and began modifying it for the mini-truck scene. He built the car all by himself and was happy to show it off at high school. He got his associates degree and got a job at O’Reilly Auto Parts as a delivery driver. Over the years, Tim worked his way up through the ranks, managed his own store, and even worked at the corporate office. Tim’s dad, George, eventually went out on his own and opened up George’s Automotive Performance which was a mix of general repair and simple performance mods. Tim decided to make a career switch and go work with him. They began doing more and more restorations and performance upgrades for muscle cars. After a few years, Tim decided he wanted to compete for the Riddler Award and spent 4 years working on a Mustang which ended up making it to the Great 8 at the show. Eventually, Tim bought the business from his dad and named it GAP Racing. He now rents a 4,000 square foot building and has 5 employees. He has added modern muscle cars to his work load but still focuses on a couple really large muscle car projects each year for special customers and SEMA. He already has plans for a much larger building and just needs to find the space and coordinate with the city to get it going.
