The Tampa Bay Rays had their first winning homestead 4-3 by securing the win against the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday afternoon. A low-run scoring affair, Ryan Pepiot showed once again that when he's right, he can be impressive. The Rays offense did just enough to get the victory while the bullpen had solid work to maintain the lead and rest guys from the bullpen as well (Pete Fairbanks did not pitch on Thursday). Now, the Rays will be heading to the Bronx to face the New York Yankees, who have started the 2024 season incredibly hot, not behind power threat Aaron Judge but by impending free agent and new addition in pinstripes, Juan Soto.
