New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies MLB Pick Prediction 4/13/2021 by Tony T. Mets at Philies—Max Scherzer to throw for New York. The veteran put up great regular season numbers last year but was hit with a dead arm late in the postseason. He wasn't dominating in the opener allowing three earned runs over six innings. Aaron Nola to start for Philadelphia. The veteran in 2021 had a good WHIP but high ERA due in part to low ground ball rate and 1.3 homers allowed per 9 innings. Strikeout and walk great excellent in 2021. In the opener Nola allowed four earned runs with two homers at home to Oakland.

So today we pit them against one another to see who would win in a 7 game series if they met today!
