Although he lives in one of the world's most iconic cities, he travels all over the world capturing incredible landscapes & interesting architecture. He is renowned for his editing techniques & skills in Photoshop, which he uses to create unique artwork. One of the first brand deals he got was photographing some trainers for Adidas and he now works with brands like Adobe & Samsung on a regular basis! He talks to us about his entire journey from studying architecture at university & working in the business for several years before leaving it all to do photography & content creation full time. On this episode of the podcast I'm joined by photographer, architect, designer, and all around content creator Demas Rusli to find out how he went from a kid growing up in Sydney Australia with a fascination for architecture, to picking up a camera, building a loyal instagram following, and shooting for some of the biggest brands in the world like Adidas, Samsung, and more, all the while maintaining a job as a working architect and designer. It was a conversation I was looking forward to having about what the path of a young talented creative can look like in today's photography world. Demas tells me what it was like to move from the place of his birth in Jakarta Indonesia to Sydney Australia at a very early age and how that affected his youth, his interests, and the path he would end up taking in life. While chasing his dreams of becoming an architect, he was introduced to photography and fell in love with the medium and the idea of capturing the world the way he saw it. Although he didn't want to give up his new career in architecture and design, he was quickly building an audience on Instagram and before long companies began approaching him to shoot for them. During our conversation he tells me what it's like juggling two creative careers, both of which he loves, and how they can sometimes play off each other. We talk about digital manipulation and post production techniques that has brought photography into a new realm and whether or not it has crossed a line of still being photography or not, how he keeps from getting burned out, the way he stays organized, and the advice he gives to others hoping to fulfill their own creative goals. Pogovor je potekal 9. septembra, 2017 v Vetrinjskem dvoru po mariborski premieri filma Nikoli nisva šla v Benetke v okviru Mobilnega Udarnika. Pobudo za projekcije je lani v okviru pogovora Ekstremno lokalno v GT22 dal Aljoša Ternovšek, glavni igralec filma, kot gost pa se nam je pridružil tudi njegov soigralec v filmu in oče Peter Ternovšek. (*10. 04. 1947) Slovenski dramski igralec, nosilec Borštnikovega prstana, je svojo igralsko pot začel kot učitelj na osnovni šoli Sladki Vrh, kjer se je zaposlil takoj po končanem učiteljišču v Mariboru. V tem času je imel za sabo že prvo vlogo - kot šestnajstletnik je dobil priložnost in leta 1963 v mariborskem gledališču odigral vlogo Poprčka v istoimenski igri Ljubiše Djokića. Ob vsakoletnem delu z otroško gledališko skupino je odigral mnogo vlog tudi v vaški gledališki skupini. Leta 1971 ga je povabil v Dramo SNG Maribor njen tedanji ravnatelj Branko Gombač in v kratkem času so sledile vloge, ki so ga zapisale med prepoznavna imena mariborskega in slovenskega igralskega sveta. Od leta 1971 do leta 2007 je bil član mariborske Drame, kjer še vedno gostuje, sodeluje pa tudi v filmih in TV nadaljevankah ter se kot gost rad pojavi tudi v drugih slovenskih gledališčih. Igralca, ki je v svoji karieri odigral več kot sto vlog v uprizoritvah domače in tuje dramatike ter pod vodstvom številnih režiserjev starejše in mlajše generacije, je teatrolog Vasja Predan označil »za enega najbolj odprtih in svetlih odrskih ustvarjalcev«. Gledalci TV zaslonov ga poznajo kot Dušana Vaupotiča - Duleta iz oddaje Tistega lepega popoldneva. O istoimenskem junaku je bil leta 2002 posnet film z naslovom Kleščar. Skupaj z Janezom Škofom pa je vodil tudi EMO 2006. V sezoni 2011/2012 je postal član igralskega ansambla Prešernovega gledališča Kranj.
