However, the ultimate experience lies in the dark and quiet floating moments, where your body and senses completely relax.Rebecca was lovely enough to come onto the show and talk about all of the amazing health benefits that come with floats and answers some of the questions people frequently have about the process.Benefits include: minimizing stress, relief from pain and improves sleep. There are many other benefits that come with this incredibly enjoyable process. Some myths that were dispelled in this interview... Is it dirty water? - No. The water is filtered through a very specific 4 part cleaning system. I am pretty sure that the end of the process the water might be cleaner (minus the salt) than our drinking water. Can people drown? - No. The water is only 10 inches deep so it is very unlikely. Even if you fall asleep the salt water itself would wake you up in your mouth and eyes before anything else could happen.Is it ok to sleep? -Yes! Many people find the process so relaxing that they do fall asleep and this is great! In addition, many people drop into dream states or even deep states of conscious dreaming.Rebeccas shares many other fun facts about the benefits of floating and how many of her customers come weekly for high level body health. Qui rievoca la sua vita insieme a Ercole Luigi, concentrandosi sugli anni 1905 e 1906, periodo in cui si sono conosciuti, innamorati e, infine, sposati.Lei, promettente pianista romana, allieva del maestro Sgambati a Santa Cecilia, condividerà le sorti alterne del suo amato con ostinata abnegazione.Lui, giovane intellettuale pesarese, elegante, avventuroso e pronto a conquistare il mondo, si avvicinerà più volte al successo e altrettante precipiterà nel fallimento artistico.Solo nel 1919, quando il suo Glauco trionfa al Teatro Argentina di Roma, verrà celebrato come nuovo astro nascente della drammaturgia italiana. Non avrà però il tempo di godersi la fama, poiché due anni dopo morirà di tubercolosi.Bianca gli sopravvive a lungo conservando nella propria anima e nel proprio corpo le stigmate di un amore assoluto che la condurrà alle soglie della follia.Maurizio Valtieri è docente presso il Pantheon Institute – Penn State University in Rome.Inizia a scrivere in qualità di autore teatrale. Dr. Sue Sgambati, COPIC's medical director and a colorectal surgeon, joins Dr. Zacharias to talk about her personal experience in balancing the professional responsibility to treat pain with concerns over opioid addiction. Dr. Sgambati reviews the historical background of key factors that contributed to the overprescribing of opioids and what she saw and learned in her own practice. She then talks about the value of using tools such as a state's prescription drug monitoring program, opioid risk assessment tools, and guidelines published by organizations such as the CDC. Dr. Sue Sgambati, a colorectal surgeon and COPIC's medical director, discusses the recent recommendation from the U.S Preventive Services Task Force that colorectal cancer screening routinely begin at age 45, instead of age 50. This recommendation is in response to the sharp rise in the number of colorectal cancers in young adults. Dr. Sgambati draws upon her own experience to talk about considerations when evaluating symptoms and whether or not to include a colonoscopy as part of a workup. What is Candor? How does it benefit patients and providers? Dr. Zacharias is joined by Dr. Sue Sgambati, the medical director at COPIC, to answer these questions and provide some insight. In this context, Candor refers to a framework that emerged out of efforts by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to encourage an environment that supports open, honest conversations with patients after adverse outcomes occur. It is also designed to investigate and learn from what happened, to address the patients' needs alongside providers' needs, and to disseminate any lessons learned in order to improve future outcomes.
