Hanson Robotics' Founder and CEO, Dr. David Hanson, joins Coruzant Technologies for the Digital Executive podcast. In November 2017, Sophia became the world's first robot to be granted citizenship. Sophia's creator Dr David Hanson of Hanson Robotics Limited believes Hong Kong is the best location to develop robots, thanks to its level of innovation, vigorous investment community and access to affordable manufacturing. The wider Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Bay Area will also be a key arena for the transition towards the fifth industrial revolution, explains Dr Hanson.
