We're kicking off season 4 with one of the most respected and hard working women in the industry (as well as someone I've wanted to have on the podcast for such a long time!), Emma Hoser. Emma is a long-time agent and works with the biggest names in underground music such as Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Paco Osuna and Sasha - just to name a few! In 2008 Emma began working with Paul Morris, founder of the booking agency AM Only, which would later become Paradigm, and it was there where she began to build the incredible roster of artists she now calls family. Emma then moved to boutique agency Liaison, where she now currently works in New York. In this podcast, we chat about her first steps into the industry, the most challenging part of her job and what she loves the most about it, career highlights (which are huge!), advice on anyone wanting to become an agent and so much more. Enjoy :)
Welcome to the last episode of season 3 of Can U Put Me On Guestlist! I couldn't think of a better way to finish this season than with one of my best friends in the entire world, Michelle. If you've partied in Ibiza or at any of the biggest festivals around the globe, the chances are you've seen Michelle dance. Michelle has danced for Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Manumission, Ultra Festival, BPM, Music On, the list goes on, and her talent has taken her all over the globe not just to dance herself but also to manage and coordinate other dancers at events. So with a few drinks (which I so wish could have been in person!), we chat all about the world of dancing, how she got to where she is today, stories she’s made along the way, Ibiza, managing other dancers, the hardest part of being a dancer, working busy schedules and much more. Our first ever interview together was back in 2013 when we didn't even know each other and since then she has become such a special person to me, so I'm so happy that we did this together and that Michelle is part of the podcast. Thank you so much for your support this season, I really appreciate it and remember to subscribe to the podcast so you’ll find out as soon as season 4 starts which will be very soon!

This weeks guest is Andy Stanton. I really loved hearing about Andy’s story because he’s worked so hard to get to where he is today and it just goes to show that lots of hard work really pays off. Andy was the marketing manager for a property firm in London and at the same time loved a good party (as we all do!), and eventually, his passion for branding, communication and dance music led him to create his own event brand called 33 that started 3 years ago in London. After 3 years of hard work, the brand now has its own residency at Itaca in Ibiza and is also held in many different venues in the UK. In this podcast we talk about Andy’s journey, how the residency in Ibiza came about, the challenges he’s come across when throwing parties in London and Ibiza, his biggest achievements yet, advice for people starting their own event brand and more! This was such a positive chat with someone that’s so passionate about what they do so I hope you enjoy this chat and hopefully, it inspires you to follow your dreams, believe in yourself and just really work hard because if you do. I'm sure you'll eventually get there! Check out 33 here: https://www.facebook.com/33.official/ https://www.instagram.com/33.official/
John Acquaviva... Where to begin?! John is such an amazing person, down to earth, hard-working and great to be around. I’ve known John for quite a few years now and each year I interview him and always learn something new! If you haven’t heard directly of John Acquaviva’s works, the chances are - whatever your involvement with electronic music is - that you will be aware of his work and influence within the electronic music community. The Italian-Canadian artist is also known for his involvement with techno titan Richie Hawtin and the forming of the highly influential labels Plus 8 Recordings and Definitive records and his fruitful involvement with Final Scratch and especially Beatport, being a vital founder of both companies. He is a pioneer of electronic music’s technological evolution and helped sculpt the genre’s game-changing transition from analog to digital and from vinyl to turntables and laptops. In sharing this vision with Richie Hawtin, they spearheaded a project that would act as the iTunes of dance, which paved the path for a new and zestful era. I had so much fun recording this episode with John! He had so many great stories to tell as we spoke about his journey right from the beginning up until now… I absolutely love this episode and I’m sure you will too!

With Ibiza as the leading hot spot within the electronic music industry, they found that the island is the perfect place to start raising awareness. Together with their ambassadors, the health & branch organizations and partners, Ibiza Loves Ears creates a community that sparks a movement to change the behavior of music lovers with the goal of creating a future without unnecessary hearing problems for the current and upcoming generation(s). Jo used to live the high life in the non-stop, fast-paced world of event and music festival production. She worked hard and played harder for long days and longer nights until in a heartbeat her world turned upside down as the aneurysm she had unknowingly harbored in the center of her brain ruptured, putting her deep into a coma where she fought to stay alive for 6 weeks. Learning to walk, talk and swallow was just the start but the hardest battle was working to regain her cognitive function. She problem-solved her health as she would have in event production and it was through being in touch with her creativity that she became most alive. Jo now works with other people in the creative industry and their tides, cycles, and rhythms to help them find the still point in the center of the storm, learning how their bodies adapt through breath, movement and intention.
