El Departamento de Agricultura, Ganadería y Alimentación del Gobierno de Aragón recibía ayer la autorización por parte del Ministerio de Agricultura para el uso de productos fitosanitarios formulados a base de bacteriófagos destinados al control del Erwinia amylovora, bacteria responsable del fuego bacteriano, una de las enfermedades más dañinas para los cultivos de fruta de pepita y que afecta de manera considerable, entre otras, a la comarca Comunidad de Calatayud (Zaragoza). El Ministerio de Agricultura ha abierto el plazo de audiencia pública para el proyecto de Real Decreto que modificaba el reglamento de 2002 sobre protección de cerdos, para devolver la estabilidad legal al sector productor y a la administración. Nos lo ha explicado Miguel Ángel HIguera, director general de Anprogapor. La producción cárnica española crece en algo más de 405.000 t durante 2025 y supera por primera vez los 8 millones de toneladas. De las 405.000 t de incremento, casi 321.000 t correspondieron a la subida registrada en la producción de carne de cerdo que llegó a los 5,27 millones de t. Por comunidades autónomas, la producción es liderada por Cataluña, con un crecimiento del 2,2 %, mientras que Aragón sigue en segundo lugar con 1,16 millones de t y un crecimiento del 10,6%.
