David began his career in a corporate consulting role but quickly realized that it wasn't the right path for him. He found that he couldn’t excel in the rigid hierarchies of the corporate ladder and decided to jump into the startup scene. David briefly worked at two startups, soon understanding that to achieve what he wanted in life, he had to venture off and put his destiny into his own hands. He founded and was the CEO of Giant Media, a leading advertising/media company at the time, eventually selling it to AdKnowledge after six years. David’s exit was a success and with the money and experience he gained, he jumped head-first into the Angel investing world, as many other former founders do. He’s invested in 40 companies so far like Everipedia, Mogul, and PerfectPrice and we learn about what type of traits/characteristics David looks for in a company and a founder when making those types of investments. Most recently, David joined Carbon, a price stable cryptocurrency as its Chief Operating Officer and we talk about the blockchain economy and what the future of Cryptocurrencies, stable coins, and other blockchain based companies looks like.
