In this episode, we chat with Artem Volynets, Founder, Chairman and CEO of ACG Metals Ltd whose vision is to consolidate the copper industry through a series of roll-up acquisitions targeting copper producers with best-in-class environmental, social, and governance (ESG) characteristics. Artem's career spans major leadership roles across the international mining sector, from steering large-scale M&A to developing assets in complex jurisdictions. Under his leadership, ACG Metals has been building a portfolio that blends strategic acquisitions with disciplined project execution. In this conversation, we'll dig into how Artem navigates competitive copper acquisitions without overpaying, approaches technical challenges with fresh thinking, and adapts plans based on community input. We'll also hear his take on jurisdictional surprises, the realities of operating in high-inflation environments, and the strategic moves he believes will set ACG Metals apart in the years ahead. KEY TAKEAWAYS ACG Metals is a relatively new player in the mining sector, having achieved substantial milestones within its first year ACG Metals differentiates itself in a competitive market by avoiding traditional auction processes and leveraging a strong network for deal sourcing. ACG Metals' proactive approach has helped the company integrate into the local fabric, contributing to job creation and local budgets, which mitigates potential conflicts. BEST MOMENTS "We don't get our investment ideas from investment banks. We have a relatively large network of connections where we can source the deal ideas." "I like to think of mining assets as a big cash printing machine, and that gets me excited as a CEO of a public company." "The biggest risk in Turkey is to your waistline. The food is too good. Otherwise, I don't see any other operating risks." Artem Rodichev was born and raised in Kazakhstan, surrounded by the mountains. He loves hiking, and pretty much all outdoor activities. He jokes that he was raised by computers, as he was always playing games, trying to learn hacking, and more. He has always be interested in stories, in particular science fiction. He read a lot of books and watched movies, being fascinated with plots around empathetic AI like Blade Runner and Joy. These movies sparked his motivation to move forward to bringing this world to life.Artem spent several years building a Core AI stack at Replica. What he noticed was that people really enjoyed connecting with their digital friends - and, he noticed the limitations of this experience. He aimed to correct that limitation, in starting a new venture focused on boarder empathetic AI.This is the creation story of Ex-Human.SponsorsPaddle.comSema SoftwarePropelAuthPostmanMeilisearchMailtrap.TECH Domains (https://get.tech/codestory)Linkshttps://exh.ai/https://www.linkedin.com/in/art-rodichev/Our Sponsors:* Check out Vanta: https://vanta.com/CODESTORYSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/code-story/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Kiedy nabrał śmiałości do kobiet? Episode 345 delves into LAFC's first win over NYCFC, 1-0, at BMO Stadium. The contest nearly ended in a scoreless draw, but Ryan Hollingshead's 86th-minute opportunistic strike put the home side on the right side of things. LAFC started in a different formation, 3-4-3, than they had lined up in this season. After a lackluster first 60', Steve pulled the plug and made the moves to get back into a 4-3-3, which really opened things up for the Black and Gold. Still, NYCFC's defense was up to the challenge. All it took, however, was one disastrous touch by defender Birk Risa, pounced on by Ryan Hollingshead, and the damage was done. LAFC wins 1-0. Also on this episode, Apple needs to learn how to spell, Olivier makes an impact again without touching the ball in the box, Artem makes his debut, and Lafferty is in a park. Enjoy 345!

This week Nikki's rocking the mic solo! Brie's in London for Bryan's match, Artem had something big come up, so Nikki is seizing the opportunity to go deep on her thoughts on a return to the ring, what she's learned as an entrepreneur, why it's important for her to share that knowledge, Matteo's obsession with dance class, some questions from the audience, and why she doesn't want to be remembered as a woman who was always exhausted. To star things off Nikki loves seeing Matteo thrive in dance class, so much so that he tried to persuade her to take him to dance class instead of school one morning. He just wants to dance! Nikki also shared a special moment with Matteo when they watched Uncle Bryan at AEW: All In, and now Matteo's fascinated with wrestling! Watching the matches, especially in the women's division, has ignited a fire inside Nikki and she just might have one last run left in her… She's also excited to co-host the epic showdown that will define 2024: The Netflix special Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef on September 2nd, live from Las Vegas! It's going to be a wild time in Sin City and you won't want to miss it! After opening up her DM's, Nikki answers a handful of questions from the audience that touch on entrepreneurial skills, learning to not take business decisions personally, where she could see Bonita Bonita tasting rooms open up in the future, business strategies, the reality of getting back in the ring, what she's donut improve her morning routine, and much more. To close things out, Nikki shares a special Inspiration & Affirmation that centers around the exhaustion of chasing perfection. Call Nikki & Brie at 833-GARCIA2 and leave a voicemail! Summer vacation might officially be over for Nikki & Brie. After a wild summer in the mountains, Brie's ready for the routine of the school year. Nikki has something to say about an Instagram comment that was critical of her openness about going to therapy and the effort she's making to make all of her relationships better and evaluate communication in her marriage. Both Nikki & Brie have noticed some significant changes in how they eat and drink lately. Nikki has come to the realization that three drinks is too many and two is the magic number. Brie's noticed that she's not able to handle certain foods the same way. One thing that Nikki and Brie both have no problems with is black licorice. It could be a problem. Brie's in full Halloween mode, but Nikki thinks she could be getting ahead of herself. It's not even Labor Day and Pumpkin Spice Latte's on the menu. All of this Halloween talk reminds Nikki about something that Brie did to her house that left a lasting mark and a tiny bit of pumpkin rage. While it could be too early for PSL's, Brie already has her family Halloween costume set, while Nikki is weighing her options, but there's a clear front runner. Then, to get ready for the new school year, Nikki & Brie have to get on the same page with Editor in Beef. The Garcia Twins are editors of the school yearbook, and they have to assign superlatives to Artem, Matteo Bryan, Birdie, Buddy, and themselves. Nikki also gives some background on what she's doing in Las Vegas on Labor Day. Nikki will be hosting the Netflix special. Joey Chestnut vs. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef will stream on Netflix on September 2! Brie closes the episode out with her pick for Inspiration & Affirmation, which is all about joy and fulfillment for yourself and not living for others. This week, Julianne Hough joins Nikki & Artem to talk about her world away from the dance floor, her personal transformation, breakdancing at the Olympics, and her new book “Everything We Never Knew.” To kick things off, Nikki & Artem open up with his reaction to doing Savor in Chicago, his crossroads as he contemplates life after professional dancing, and Nikki ponders how things in her life would be different if she were allowed to try out for school plays as a kid. Then Julianne Hough joins the conversation. From dance to acting to music and writing, she defies labels as she uniquely chronicles her awakening. She tells Nikki & Artem all about some tough times that guided her to a rebirth of her energy and purpose in all aspects of her life. Now, that revival is causing a metamorphosis of gratitude and personal development in the world around her. This conversation is so important to Julianne that she declines a call from her brother Derek in the middle of the interview so that she can lock into Nikki & Artem as they talk about helping others redefine themselves, which is a process that Artem himself is going through and realizing that Dancing with the Stars isn't just about scores on the dance floor, but emotional and spiritual evolution. To close out the conversation, Julianne also has a very strong reaction to dance finally being in the Olympics, the response to Australian breakdancer RayGun going viral for all the wrong reasons, and her hope for ballroom dancing to get a shot in the 2028 games in Los Angeles.
