Supporters get acquainted with the course and spots for seeing your athlete. Standing around is HARD on your legs; combine walking with staying put in one place. Arrange on course spots or post-race meeting points in advance Not all race venues have a lot of options for food and drinks or going to the toilet so think of yourself as well as your athlete. Tip from coach Lucie Zelenkova: wear very bright colours so that you athlete can easily spot you. It is very easy to get lost from your fellow supporters; make a plan for rendez-vous points; especially if you don't have a phone connection.
