Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift were always very private during their six years together, but now, while Swift is at the height of her career, the actor has decided to go public. So, in Episode 56 of The Shallow End, we react to some of the things he said and discuss their relationship dynamic. Perhaps Alwyn is more of a villain than we thought. Joe Rogan was also labeled a villain this week for hosting a comedian on his podcast who accused Robin Williams of being a joke stealer. There seems to be a shift in public approval this Pride Season. A Catholic school board in Ontario recently voted against flying the Pride flag, and a recent study out of the UK is claiming that people's support for self-identification laws is on the decline. Plus, Karens are the heroes society desperately needs, and crude Freak Right e-girls are not. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL TO HELP US GROW! In Episode 10 of The Shallow End, Kat and Nat discuss a surrogate mom in California who claims the gay men who hired her told her to terminate her pregnancy at 24 weeks due to her cancer diagnosis. They also react to conservative commentator Steven Crowder's request for full custody of his twin babies, despite saying that dads are 'largely useless.' The U.S. Supreme Court struck down Biden's student loan forgiveness plan, so we offer our perspective on this decision and break down some of the reactions from people on the right. There has been a lot of crap floating around on Twitter these days. Especially coming from YouTuber Hannah Pearl Davis, who believes women are less attractive at 35 than at 25. So, Kat and Nat call her out on her crap and throw some shade at the men who support her inflammatory commentary. Plus, aspartame apparently causes cancer, but did you know it might be making you fat too? The Toronto Pride parade happened this weekend, so in Episode 9 of The Shallow End, Kat and Nat react to the viral clips of men walking around with their cocks out despite kids being present. Is your wallet feeling lighter? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Olivia Chow was elected mayor of Toronto yesterday. The girls also discuss Bill C-18, AKA the Online News Act, which recently passed in Canada, including Meta's plan to bar Canadians from seeing news on Facebook and Instagram in response. No one will shut up about women's bodies — from Billie Eilish admitting she's had a rough time dealing with body-shamers to debates about the attractiveness of mom-bods and more. So, in this week's episode, Nat and Kat react to society's obsession with the female form and compare the differences between having a mom bod and a dad bod. Plus, breast cancer diagnoses have increased exponentially since 2021, and dating app usage is in decline. What's up with that? In Episode 8 of The Shallow End, Nat and Kat discuss why Joe Rogan was trending on Twitter recently! As it turns out, Dr. Peter Hotez, a well-known vaccine scientist, refuses to debate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about vaccines on Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. So, Kat and Nat offer their take on why lefties tend to back down from debates and question why no one is allowed to ask questions about vaccines without being labelled an "anti-vaxxer." RFK Jr. isn't the only famous person against vaccines! It looks like quite a few celebrities are skeptics too. So, the ladies list some of the most famous "anti-vaxxers," and offer their theories as to why people with a wealth of resources would be hesitant to vaccinate their children. Speaking of resources, Prince William is trying to solve the homelessness crisis and seems to be putting his money where his mouth is! Plus, Gen Z is terrified of aging, and the Oscars introduced new diversity requirements for future nominees. The world is figuratively and literally on fire. So, in Episode 7 of The Shallow End, Nat and Kat react to all the craziness, including trans-TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney's decision to take transitioning offline, as well as all the sad news stemming from Canadian actor Elliot Page's new memoir, Pageboy. The girls also discuss our society's obsession with band-aid solutions when it comes to treating real health issues and trauma, citing a Swedish study that followed the lives of transgender people for thirty years post-transition. Megan Fox is an American actress, but did you know she's also a witch? A witch who, according to former Hollywood director Robby Starbuck, is forcing her sons to wear girl's clothes. But don't worry, Starbuck isn't concerned about her casting a spell on him — he has Christ! And thankfully, so does former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass, who was fired from the team for his Christian beliefs. Plus, Canada is on fire, but a lot of people seem to be questioning its origins... In Episode 5 of The Shallow End, Nat and Kat discuss the recent, and arguably very successful, Target boycott in the United States for its LGBTQ-friendly kids' clothing. They also react to Calvin Klein's Pride-themed ad from 2022, which featured a bearded transgender influencer from the Netherlands wearing a sports bra, and respond to the featured model's statement about "all trans bodies" being "good bodies." Unsurprisingly, testosterone is declining in young men. So, Kat and Nat analyze some of the reasons why, discussing the implications porn has on men, their relationships, and their inability to 'perform.' It wouldn't be an episode of The Shallow End without mentioning the Kardashians. Only this time, one of them — namely, Khloé Kardashian — had some based things to say about the negative sides of surrogacy. So, this week, the ladies discuss Khloé's accurate description of the surrogacy process and expose some of the other unethical aspects of the Big Fertility industry. Plus, Hollywood is weird, but it could be a lot less weird if Quentin Tarantino didn't pay a woman $10,000 to let him lick her toes, right?
