Husk at I kan lytte til vores første afsnit med fokus på megamix, hvor vi også havde Nick C. med som gæstevært her: https://apple.co/42wyZY8 Og så bør I besøge Nicks hjemmeside med fokus på danske DJ Pool her: https://poolmix.dk/ Playliste: Ben Liebrand – Grandmix 1986 The KLF – The KLF Megamix (Last Train To The Factory) DJ Pool – mmBattle VI (WinnerMix) Deep Dance 31 – The Best of 1994 Dance Now 95 Vol. 1 – Radiomegamix (Pharao, Sound Of Seduction, Baby D, Taleesa & 2InATent) Coco – I need a miracle Fragma – Toca me Fragma vs. Coco – Toca's miracle Adina Howard – Freak like me Tubeway Army – Are 'friends' electric? Sugababes – Freak like me Uddrag fra 2ManyDJs – As heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 (Ural 13 Diktators, Prince, Bobby O. & Felix da Housecat) Uddrag fra 2ManyDJs – As heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 (10cc, Destiny's Child, Dolly Parton & Röyksopp) Nephew vs. Depeche Mode – Personal movie klip (Bastard Forsyningen) Kim Larsen vs. Joan Osbourne vs. Michael Jackson – Smooth sømand Metallica vs. Lille Per – Bummelummelum Capella – Capella Gigamix

Synth-obsessed Belgian brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, aka Soulwax, join us for our final episode of Season 3. Belgian brothers David and Stephen Dewaele have made a lot of music in the past 25 years.
2MANYDJs... SOULWAX… or simply, The Dewaele Brothers! These monikers symbolically function interchangeably, it’s a rare instance to sit down and create a narrative of influences after years in the game…
When artist, producer, singer and DEEWEE signee Charlotte Adigéry and Dominique met a little over a year ago, it felt so familiar they became friends on sight. A couple of days before embarking on her first American tour, Charlotte sat down at the loft to discuss her early songwriting days and the freedom of getting to record at the studio complex built by Stephen and David Dewaele of Soulwax and 2ManyDJs. She also shares truths about finding the tools to become your own artist, fighting writer's block and the full-on producing partnership with bandmate Bolis Pupul she holds so dear. Dominique and Charlotte also discuss their mutual non-twerking abilities, being plugged by the great Iggy Pop, looking for the right fashion collaborations and the main difference between their obsession with Larry David. I am crazy for Brazilian music and I know you are too ;) Get ready for a new musical trip alongside Sonido Tupinamba and Rodrigo Gorky (Dj Gorky from Fatnotronic / Phillipi & Rodrigo). Rodrigo was part of the groundbreaking electro-pop-funky carioca group Bonde do Rolê. The band signed with Domino Recods, toured with Cansei de Ser Sexy, was produced by the likes of Poolside, Diplo, Boyz Noize and had huge collaborators like Caetano Veloso. Nowadays Rodrigo is half of Fatnotronic a duo specialized in edits of obscure Brazilian boogie and balearic tunes that have been praised by 2Manydjs, Fatboy Slim and Diplo. He is also 50% of Phillipi & Rodrigo, an electronic duo that has just launched it´s debut album , recorded, produced and mixed at Studio DEEWEE (Label created and led by David & Stephen Dewaele from 2 Many DJ's & Soulwax) Besides these two amazing projects he also produces other artists, specially on the LGTBQI community. He discovered via Instagram the talent of the Drag Queen Pabllo Vittar and started building her skyrocket career. Pabllo Vittar is nowadays one of the biggest pop stars in Brazil which is something really outstanding considering the big homophobia that exists in the country. Thanks Rodrigo for so much good music! Vamos gente, vamos la! Press play and enjoy
Larry Tee is without a doubt one of the most outrageous artists in Electronic Music. He has shown his ability to control dance floors all around the world, masterfully DJing everything from electro house to techno and outrageous pop mash-ups & remixes. His legendary DJ status precedes him, and his fan base still can't get enough of him. In the early 2000s, Tee created and trademarked the term "electroclash" and it became well known enough that it started to appear in the Oxford Dictionary. He coordinated and managed the 2001 Electroclash Festival, which featured Scissor Sisters, 2manyDJs, Felix Da Housecat, Fischerspooner, Ladytron and Peaches, who all participated in the festival. We're thrilled to welcome Larry Tee alongside Erick Morillo, Lady Starlight, Black Asteroid on 2nd December and even more thrilled that he has prepared this exclusive mix for Egg London...

I flaked on the 2ManyDJ's show and all I got to show for it is this wide ranging and reeling falling over selection of Mashups, Bastard Pop, Bootlegs, and plunderphonical audio expositions. I now have a mike and nothing worthwhile to say, as evidenced in this weeks podcast.1. Pirate Sound System - Selektah RingtoneWhat a good idea. Mashup ringtones. Not my ringtone, but I'm sure there is someone who really appreciates this.2. 2ManyDj's - Radio Soulwax MontageA compressed mix with too many sources to cite. 2ManyDJs, the superstars of the modern mashup3. DNA feat. Suzanne Vega - Tom's DinerYeah, it's been a while since I heard this one. Kind of tough to track down a copy. But thanks goes out to the never forgetful internet for making this possible.4. Sherpa - Tecnologic PopA not bad piece with a solid usage of Daft Punk - not inspiring but sentimental.5. Unknown - CaitlinEven though I lost the artist name who did this, which usually means disqualification I had to include it for the looped TMBG horn section.6. Wisp - Turquoise Tinged PenniesNot a mashup but the near cousin turntablism and so gorgeous it had to be included.7. Go Home Productions - Flaming Mary Can Out (Run) PrinceThe Run D.M.C. action on this track is thrilling. Go Home has some solid productions and currently have an hour show up that they did with the BBC. Well worth a look.8. Dj Paul V - Peaches vs. Gary Glitter - Didn't Know The Lips Wanna Be HerAny excuse to play a Peaches track is good enough for me. 9. Jackson and his Computer Band - Teen Beat OceanNot a mashup but the near uncle IDM - while Jackson Computer may not be as brilliant as some other IDM artists. They've got a good way with sample extraction. 10. Dj BC - Einstein on the BeastDJ BC, of Beastles fame, here gets the sound from way out with help from Phillip Glass.11. The Avalanches - I am a Cuckoo I am horribly enamored with the long time producing but rarely publishing Aussie band The Avalanches. And why because nearly two years ago I saw this video and fell in love: video12. Jan Turkenburg and Chenard Walcker - 42 "De Sirenes"A nice piece of found sound from to productive plunderphonic disciples. While the 52 weeks project may not have made every track perfect, like this one is, the sonic journey is worth the while of the curious.13. Hamburglars - Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and ValueAwesome plundering to be found on the high seas of corporate training videos. 14. Thin - Stoopid, Dreemer NightmareMike Curtis put out a couple internet release pieces before leaving the scene. Blue Face being an all around wonderful example of his ability. 15. Yuhzimi - Top of The PopsA small section from a rather awkward compilation of mashups. This snippet is golden.16. Osymyso - Not Quite FoolOsymyso of anti-art school notoriety brings a nearly spartan vocal section to a rolling boil of British stiff upper lip-ishness.17. Negativland - Gimme The MermaidThe grand daddys of the sampledeliaca world, this is the audio section of their recent anti-infringement mashup video. 18. kARSTEN pFLUM - Bflonk 03And a lovely little number to take us out on the podcast closer.Image from Catalyst Dances - Heat and Life
