Incoming! We welcome Aero back to Four Four, as we premiere the 5th track from his jam packed 6 track EP, titled 'The Dark At The End Of The Tunnel'. Hailing from Dublin, Aero makes his mark on the Not At Sine label with their third release in his uncompromising but distinct sound of pacey and atmospheric techno. As a DJ, Aero has been knocking around the Dublin club scene for the last number of years, sharing the DJ booth with the likes of Sunil Sharpe, B Traits, Cleric, DeFeKT, JkS, Mayeul, DJ Seinfeld and Shlomo, making his presence felt through his robust and frantic DJ sets. The title track ‘The Dark At The End Of The Tunnel’ is as gleeful distorted journey. The track consisting of just drums and pads, is a unique passage of euphoria. Distorted percussion and textured perc’s drive the track whilst spaced out pads and vocal leave the listener in a daze. For our first podcast of 2013, we bring you this brilliant mix from Taneli. With his tracks receiving support from the likes of B Traits on Radio 1 and DJ Caspa on Rinse, 2013 looks set to be a very big year for the young Preston-based producer and DJ. This mix definitely supports that claim. B.Traits began making a name for herself in Vancouver, Canada in 2004 through her frequent dancefloor assaults on unsuspecting clubs across the Pacific Northwest. By the age of 21 she had already played alongside DnBís finest from North America and across Europe and, after teaming up with MC Kay to form Ladies Take Control (LTC), began to perform as part of DJ SSí legendary Formation crew. 2006 and 2007 saw the duo embark on Formationís World Of Drum & Bass tour and more recently B Traits has caught the eye of Shy FX and his Digital Soundboy camp, becoming the first official Digital Sound girl.
