Wir sind Weltmeister im Verdrängen – vor allem was die immer sichtbarer werdende Klimakatastrophe betrifft. Im bewegenden Film HOW DARE YOU entdecken drei Kinder das Thema und entscheiden sich zu handeln. Interessant ist dabei nicht nur das Engagement und der Einfallsreichtum der Kinder sondern auch auch die Reaktionen der Eltern: Sie sind schnell überfordert und wollen den „Elefant im Raum“ lieber weiter ignorieren, statt gegen die Klimakatastrophe aktiv zu werden. Der ebenso komische wie ernste Film von Regisseurin Mipo O tritt uns untätigen Erwachsenen gewaltig in den Hintern und wirkt besonders intensiv, weil weitgehend die Perspektive der Kinder eingenommen wird – auch dadurch, dass die Kamera auf Augenhöhe der Kinder ist. „Alles, was ich sagen kann, ist, dass es ein großer Erfolg war“, ruft der US-Präsident den wartenden Reportern zu. Die Reise nach Peking habe gute Ergebnisse gebracht, mehr als 200 Boeing-Flugzeuge wollen die Chinesen kaufen, dazu mehr Lebensmittel importieren. Im Gegenzug dürfen chinesische Firmen High-Tech-Computerchips in den USA kaufen. Tagesthemen-Moderator Ingo Zamperoni kann die präsidiale Euphorie nicht teilen, auch weil nur „die amerikanische Seite das verkündet hat und die Chinesen sich bedeckt gehalten haben“. Trump war auf dem Gipfel der beiden mächtigsten Männer der Welt sichtlich beeindruckt von Gastgeber Xi Jinping. „Er hat die Faszination für große, starke Männer der Geschichte, von Alexander dem Großen bis Xi, Putin und so weiter, und er sieht sich als Teil dieses exklusiven Clubs“, schätzt die deutsch-amerikanische Journalistin Jiffer Bourguignon die Gefühlswelt des US-Präsidenten ein. Und so hat Trump es auch hingenommen, als der chinesische Präsident die Ansprüche auf Taiwan ungewöhnlich deutlich reklamierte und sich amerikanische Einmischung verbat. „Taiwan ist der Elefant im Raum, darüber zu sprechen ist immer unangenehm, es ist der Punkt, wo die Seiten 'agree to disagree'“, so beschreibt Jiffer den jahrzehntelang geübten Umgang zwischen den USA und China. Dass Trump nach dem Besuch die militärische Unterstützung für Taiwan zur Verhandlungsmasse mit Peking erklärt hat, besorgt Jiffer und Ingo. Weil China schon jetzt ein Quasi-Monopol für die wichtigen seltenen Erden habe und auch noch die Produktion von High-Tech-Computerchips kontrollieren würde, wenn Taiwan an die Volksrepublik fallen würde. Damit lägen zwei entscheidende Schlüsseltechnologien der Weltwirtschaft in den Händen Chinas. „Dass Taiwan überhaupt auf die Agenda gesetzt wurde, kam nicht von den Amerikanern, das hat Xi so gesetzt“, erläutert Ingo. Alles in allem sei der Gipfel kein erfolgreiches Treffen gewesen, da ist sich das Ehepaar einig. Zumal auch keine gemeinsamen Pläne für die Lösung im Iran-Krieg entwickelt werden konnten. EPSA tiene el privilegio de presentar en exclusiva internacional mundial el último album de anti, que brotará al mundo el próximo 30 de Abril. Copio y pego la nota de prensa, que para eso me la han mandado: Qué extraña es la vida. Tito Pintado, aka Tito Dakota, ex cantante de Penélope Trip (gijoneses pioneros del indie español noventero) y Telefilme (dúo con David Rodríguez de La Bien Querida y La Estrella de David) publica en 1998 su primer álbum como anti en el sello Elefant. Después se tira once años callado. En 2009 sale su segundo álbum, “antiaventura” en el sello Federación de Universos Pop, y lo presenta en varios conciertos, abriendo para Single (grupo con el que colaboraba por aquella época), Klaus & Kinski y Emilio José. Nada parecía presagiar que iban a pasar otros once años hasta que publicase un nuevo trabajo. Y así fue, no pasaron once años. Pasaron dieciséis. En 2025, anti vuelve por sorpresa con “en américa” (séptimo mejor ep nacional para Rockdelux), el single de vinilo “infantil/islandia” para Discos Garibaldi y el ep digital “su electrónica”, con remezclas de Hidrogenesse, Encanto y Memorabilia. Y en 2026 llega “vendedor ambulante de estrellas va por la avenida de espuma de mar”, su primer álbum en diecisiete años, con un título que grita “¡¡¡ESCÚCHAME!!!”. Was man mit einem 3D Drucker alles machen kann, zeigt das Maus-Team in einem Werk in Donauwörth. Dort werden zum Beispiel die Teile für einen Hubschrauber mit einem 3D-Drucker hergestellt. Aber das ist längst nicht das Einzige, was der 3D-Drucker kann: Aus zwei Kassetten mit Kunststoff entsteht im Nu ein Weihnachtsbaum zum Zusammenstecken. Wie geht das?

Oft weht ein frischer Wind vom Atlantik die Loire entlang bis nach Nantes, daher macht man sich am besten im Zwiebellook auf die Entdeckung einer der spannendsten Städte Frankreichs. Denn nach dem Zusammenbruch der Werften und zuarbeitender Industrien musste sich Frankreichs heute sechstgrößte Stadt neu erfinden- das Rezept dafür: Kunst und Kultur. So verwandelt die Veranstaltungsreihe „Le Voyage à Nantes“ die Stadt jeden Sommer in eine bunte Open-Air-Galerie, viele von den Skulpturen und Installationen bleiben. Einer grünen Linie auf dem Boden folgt man von Kunstwerk zu Kunstwerk. So spaziert seit über 15 Jahren ein 12 Meter großer Elefant mit „Passagieren“ über das Gelände und in einer Halle können Besucher weitere Tiere wie einen gigantischen Reiher, einen Kolibri und eine Spinne bestaunen. Sie sind Teil eines neuen Projekts , des „Arbre Héron“, des „Reiherbaums“. Noch ist allerdings unklar, ob und wann das Ganze umgesetzt werden kann. Ein weiteres Projekt aber nimmt langsam konkretere Formen an- dem berühmtesten Sohn der Stadt, dem Schriftsteller Jules Verne, soll voraussichtlich 2028 ein neues großes Museum gewidmet werden. Fünf Stunden etwa dauert die Bahnreise von Nantes nach Lyon, der Hauptstadt der Region Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, die an den Flüssen Rhone und Saône liegt. 1998 erklärte die UNESCO große Teile des historischen Stadtzentrums zum Weltkulturerbe - auch weil in der Altstadt Vieux Lyon eine sehr homogene historische Bebauung erhalten ist. Mit der Standseilbahn kann man hinauf auf die Colline de la Fourvière fahren – oben wartet bei gutem Wetter eine fantastische Aussicht über die ganze Stadt. Wer es etwas ruhiger haben möchte, sollte einen Abstecher ins Viertel Croix-Rousse machen, auf den anderen Hügel in Lyon. Hier lebten und arbeiteten die Seidenweber seit dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert, im Museum „Maison des Canuts“ gibt es Vorführungen an alten Webstühlen. Ein paar U-Bahn-Stationen weiter können sich Film- und Kinointeressierte auf die Spuren der Brüder Lumière begeben- im Viertel Monplaisir ist in der einstigen Lumière-Villa ein Museum untergebracht. In dem unter anderem Kurzfilme aus dem endenden 19. Jahrhundert zu sehen sind- und natürlich der erste Lumière-Film von 1895: „La Sortie de l'Usine Lumière à Lyon“. Jana verbringt einen Tag lang in der Justizvollzuganstalt in Köln, wo sie JVA-Beamtin Nadja durch die gesamte Gefängnis-Anlage führt. Es gibt viele Orte, an denen Menschen im Gefängnis arbeiten: Eine Turnhalle, ein Friseursalon und sogar eine Kirche. Jana lernt viel über die inhaftierten und nicht-inhaftierten Menschen, die dort arbeiten. Am Ende stellt sie fest: Ein Gefängnis ist fast schon wie ein eigenes kleines Dorf mit jeder Menge Berufen!
