BTR News – On this episode of BTR News, Scotty comments on a story coming out of Baltimore, Maryland where two pre-teen adolescent boys are being exploited as rap artists. The boys are featured in what should seem highly inappropriate content to any logical adult. Children in the entertainment business are nothing new and child exploitation is nothing new but it still shocks the senses to see. There seems to be a lack of public interest in the story but one wonders if these two boys were two pre-teen adolescent girls rapping to a song like WAP, would there be a bigger public outcry? If they were insulting the LGBTQ community would there be a bigger public outcry? It is hard to say but we think there would be more attention paid to this story. BTR News – For a few months I have been a member of a FB group for Black Fathers and being that I have played a role in raising three daughters who have children of their own, I thought I might have something to offer the younger Black dads. However, I suspected that the group was censuring posts about racism but could not confirm it until I had a post on a Black father concerning racism, in this case, proxy racism concerning CRT rejected. I could not believe it but then again, we are seeing some pretty strange things going on in the world. Afro-Christiphobia is a term that refers to the hate that Black people produced to use as a weapon against other Black people. So a person tried to cryptically call me out in a chat room because he is still salty cause I kicked his program off Black Talk Radio Network years ago because of his on-air Afro-Christophobia, a term I came up with to describe the behavior of Black people using hurtful, hateful, mean-spirited, and often factually incorrect opinions of Black Christians specifically and Christianity in general. I discuss why it was the correct decision to ban him and how the behavior intersects with the Willie Lynch Letter that proposed ways to keep victims of slavery in bondage by getting them to hate on each other and love their enslavers. America portrays itself as the global moral police while openly perpetuating crimes against humanity. Every year more and more nations call out the hypocrisy of our democracy. In this episode Max and Yusuf point out the systemic human rights violations. We'll highlight the voices of nations and global human rights organizations who are calling out merica on their BS and demanding justice for the oppressed and accountability for the oppressor. We will also explain how the US's prison for profit model has been adopted worldwide as an economic development program used to generate revenue through systems of slavery portrayed as justice. Thanks to efforts led by slavery abolitionists, the global for-profit prison company called the GEO Group is near bankruptcy. Will it be slain or make a comeback? We'll discuss it. As always, the music and poetry alone is worth the price of admission and we will continue to brings the words of the ancestors back to life in our Bridging The Gap segment. Abolition Today is available for streaming from all your favorite podcast platforms and is simulcast on The Black Talk Radio Network.

The DOJ has announced it will be investigating police in Minneapolis, MN and Saint Louis, MO. Just like they investigated Ferguson, Alabama, and Ohio. Let’s look at the DOJ mission statement.; “To enforce the law and defend the interests of the United States according to the law; to ensure public safety against threats foreign and domestic; to provide federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime; to seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior; and to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans.” In each case they have found unconstitutional patterns and practices where nothing has come from it. If you can’t enforce the constitution what good are you? Paper Tigers. We’ll also listen to a discussion from Dr Joy James. Professor of the Humanities and professor of political science. During Mellon Sawyer Seminar on Contemporary Political Struggle: abolition x communism, Dr James really stood up for us in the slavery abolitionist movement. You’ve got to hear this smack-down of academia and academics regarding abolition as a philosophy versus literal slavery abolition. Paper Tigers. BTR News with Scotty Reid walks through the documented timeline of the killing of 24 yr old US citizen Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky on March 23, 2020, by narcotics officers enforcing a decades-old drug war that has claimed perhaps thousands of lives by law enforcement officers kicking down doors in the middle of the night with the controversial no-knock warrants. Using credible news reports local and national that reveals an undeniable injustice and suggests a pattern of systemic corruption in Kentucky law enforcement from the City Cop to the newly elected Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron. The best way to combat misinformation in service to demonizing Breonna Taylor, her family, her boyfriend Kenneth Walker is with documented facts. Black Talk Radio Network was established by the Black Talk Media Project in an effort to elevate often silenced Black Voices. It was ranked #1 in Black digital radio and podcasts by Feedspot in 2019 and 2020. Both were founded by Scotty T. A Clay County, Florida Sherriff in all his thuggish bravado issued threats to non-existent protestors because of what he has seen on cable news shows. In a video complete with background music and his deputies standing behind him, Clay County Sheriff Darryl Daniels said that if people want to come from out of town and engage in unlawful protests, he will deputize every gun owner in the county. Considering there have been no protests and no intelligence that the Sherriff mentioned that caused him to make such a thuggish and almost cartoonish video, he might have done so to distract from the criminal investigation into him having his deputies unlawfully detain a woman whom with he was having an affair. The investigation has concluded and the initial report turned over to a States Attorney to consider charges. The Black Talk Radio Network was ranked #1 in Black digital radio and audio podcasts by Feedspot in 2019 and 2020. Guest : Kamm Howard National Male Co-Chair of NCOBRA Transgenerational Epigenetics is a new field of science, about 15 years old, that examines how cataclysmic occurrences can alter a portion of the gene, and how that altered expression is passed down generationally. Due to the transgenerational epigenetic injury - the forced removal from Africa, a slave diet that consisted largely of cornmeal and fat, and 500 years of terror - Black people are highly susceptible to develop, at some point in their lifetimes, major diseases and life-challenging illnesses than other ethnic groups in America. This is what this science has revealed. Black people, people of African descent, are not the same as everyone else in Chicago or in America. The COVID 19 death-rate is just the latest metric to demonstrate this. It also offers the latest proof that targeted resources for this community are a must. Those resources are called reparations. ;new advadsCfpAd( 35245 ); BTR News - Working-class and poor Black people do not have many media options when it comes to honest and objective reporting on political news. The few choices offered to them don't always come from outlets owned by us or controlled by us and even when it is, everyone isn't for all of us. ;new advadsCfpAd( 35245 ); BTR News - Perhaps for the first time in Presidential debate history, a candidate reveals a factoid to a national audience that leaves everyone damn near speechless without a single candidate or moderator pushing back on the Rep. Tulsi Gabbard revealing that the US government arms terrorists to take out governments they do not like. I don't know if she caught everyone off guard with her comments or if they simply can not handle the truth but no one said a word in opposition. I fully expect the so-called "fact-checkers" to try and do damage control but with the level of cognitive dissonance in the United States, I don't even know if they have to fire up the spin machine. Tune in for an hour of news, information and commentary on the state of political prisoners held within the United States.Tonight one of our family members needs help. Ameejill Whitlock is the co-host and co-producer of Political Prisoner Radio which has been on air for the past three years on the Black Talk Radio Network. She started her activism on behalf of political prisoners as a teenager and the work has continued to this date. She has also been involved in Baltimore rebellion helping to organize behind the scenes as protest rocked the city over the killing of Freddy Grey.Ameejill's mother whom was in poor health and Ameejill has been providing care for, recently passed away. Like many families with long-term illnesses in the family, Ameejill and her young son may be homeless in 30 days if the bank forecloses on her mother's home. One of Ameejill's comrades, Kevin James has set up a fundraiser which hopes of raising at least $3,000 for Ameejill and her son. Those who want to contribute can do so via the PayPal email address Kajames2@gmail.com.Information has come to my attention that authorities knew or know that Imam Jamil Al-Amin who is widely know by his former name H Rap Brown when he was with SNCC and the Black Panther Party, is in fact ,innocent of the murder and assault on two Fulton County Georgia sheriff deputies. In fact, another man has confessed for the crime so why is it that those involved would rather frame our elder brother instead of seeking justice for the officers? Is it because of his name and past work and fear that he could become relevant in the current movement against police violence and terrorism? We also get an update on the case and his health via an interview his wife Mrs. Karima Al-Amin recently did with BlockReportRadio.Com.Today is the birthday of former Black Panther Ed Poindexter. Ed Poindexter and Mondo We Langa together are known as the Omaha Two, victims of a COINTELPRO plot to frame them for a bombing that killed a police officer. If you want truth and facts vs lies and fiction, support independent media.http://tinyurl.com/fundblackmedia

Mr. Ajamu Baraka visits The Context of White Supremacy. Mr. Baraka was the Founding Executive Director of the US Human Rights Network (USHRN) from July 2004 until June 2011. The USHRN was the first domestic human rights formation in the United States explicitly committed to the application of international human rights standards to the U.S. Ajamu Baraka is a human rights defender whose experience spans three decades of domestic and international education and activism, Ajamu Baraka is a veteran grassroots organizer whose roots are in the Black Liberation Movement and anti-apartheid and Central American solidarity struggles. We'll investigate Mr. Baraka's recent analysis of how the Charlie Hebdo attack invigorated the global White collective's devotion to White Power - not free speech. We're also eager to here his dissection of House Speaker John Boehner's invitation to Prime Minister Netanyahu; Boehner's request strayed from the typical protocol of involving the president of the United States and has attracted a great deal of controversy and conjecture. The Washington Post and Black Talk Radio Network founder Scotty Reid have highlighted the contempt and Racism that could be motivating these procedural inconsistencies.
