NXT UK Tag team Trent Seven chats the future of NXT UK with Mark and Sean. The boys also reflect on WrestleMania, British Strong Style, and share a few behind the scenes WrestleMania stories from over the past few years!
@DonDelarente and @DancingElf88 share their commentary with color on the latest round of NXT releases as well as this week's episode of NXT
I'm joined by one half of Kings Of The North, Al Bonesaw. We talk about his incredible career so far training with Finn Balor, wrestling Scotty 2 Hotty, Al Snow and Walter alongside being a part of arguably the most dominant tag team in Europe and stepping in the ring with the likes of British Strong Style, GOD, La Rebellion and War Machine. All this and so much more.
With the state of the USA today, we decided to devote time on the show tonight to our favorite African American wrestlers and the incredible contributions they have made to the world of professional wrestling. Also tonight - another wrestling death to report, WWE adds a move to their ban list, British Strong Style does something wonderful, injury reports, releases, and more! It can all be summed up in two words - ICE TRAIN.
This week, Alan4L and Will Cooling join to talk about the moment where New Japan, Ring of Honor, and WWE had participants in a match at once - the Elite (Bucks and Omega) vs. British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, and Tyler Bate) from Good Friday 2017 in Fight Club Pro. The trio then talk a little about UK/Irish politics, the importance of separating a happening vs. a moment in wrestling, and then Rich and Will spend time breaking down Bruce Mitchell's Ubermensch theory, and a really intriguing chat on the importance of mental health - and how wrestling can be a respite if you get out of your own way.
This week, Will Cooling returns to chat about the stable Schadenfreude (who are certainly NOT A CULT) - how they formed, the key members and their stories leading into September's Fight Club Pro Project Mayhem 8 - where five members of the group went against five of Fight Club's best in a "Death House" (Wargames with a lot of weapons) match to determine who runs the promotion. Will gives an outstanding overview of how we got to this point in the promotion, how Schadenfreude differs from British Strong Style, and the founders of BSS (Dunne, Seven, and Bate) and their roles in other British indies. From there, Rich and Will chat about the future of Schadenfreude, the French promotion offshoot they've created, and the importance of the group to European wrestling.

We are four days away from what I have been proclaiming as the Greatest Day Of Professional Wrestling In 2019 when AEW All Out, NJPW Royal Quest and NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff will all take place on the same day. In EPISODE 100 of the Young Lion's Perspective podcast, I preview all three shows and make my picks for who I think will have their hands raised including Kazuchika Okada defending his IWGP Heavyweight title against Minoru Suzuki, Walter looking to go 3-for-3 against British Strong Style when he defends his WWE UK Championship against Tyler Bate, and in what could be the most hyped PPV of the year, AEW crowns their first-ever AEW World Champion when Adam Page and Chris Jericho. Our focus on WWE Network (freshly redesigned, to varying degrees of success!) this week nets a bounty of highlights, like Oney Lorcan's quest for House of Mouse money, a great Swerve/Gulak 205 main event, WALTER and IMPERIUM completing their DOMINANCE of British Strong Style, Kay Lee Ray mind games, another amazing Breakout Tournament match, Io Shirai's smoldering new ... thing, and a Keith Lee we can all get behind. The main roster featured a lot of old people, but some fun 24/7 madness and Owens continues to do great things in his quest to stun Shane as many times as Stone Cole stunned his dad. After the weirdness that was Episode 76.5, you know damn well I had to come back and drop one hell of an episode to end your Father's Day Weekend properly with Episode 77 of the Young Lion's Perspective! I kick off the episode by unveiling the 20 participants who will be competing in this year's G1 Climax and even make my predictions as to who will compete in the G1 Climax finals and who I predict will win the entire tournament. I then talk the highlights of not only last week's episode of NXT, but the last two episodes of NXT UK including a huge title match being announced, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch taking on Undisputed Era in tag team action, my thoughts on the Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender's Match to determine who will have a future shot against Walter for the WWE UK Championship and what I thought about the huge six-man tag match between Imperium and British Strong Style with a surprise return that I did not expect.
This week Flash is joined by Fight Club Pro’s own Clint Margera. They chat about falling in love with wrestling at a young age, what clint's first experience with Hardcore wrestling was and why he was drawn to becoming a death match worker. They talk in depth about the origin of FCP and their rise from underground backyard promotion to one of the leaders in the British Strong Style revolution and Clint talks about how fortunate he’s been to wrestle a lot of his Hardcore idols. If you enjoy Hardcore wrestling this chat with one of Europe’s best Death Match Workers is definitely up your street.
The Lady J & Courtney Rose are on a journey through all of Progress's Chapters - starting with Chapter 1. In Volume 12, J & Courtney are joined by Callum Leslie as they face chapters 40 through 42. The two ladies and their guest not only discuss the reign of British Strong Style, the delight that is the South Pacific Power Trip, and Progress's absolutely mad debut in Birmingham, but they revisit their very first ever Progress podcast and what they thought back in January of Chapter 41. Tune in each week to hear these lovely ladies (and some moderately special guests) discuss their "progression" through all of PROGRESS!
