On the first day of the week Jesus rose from the dead. There was a great earthquake, an angel appeaered, and the women at the tomb were given an assignment to "go and tell" His disciples to go to Galilee and there they would see Jesus. The guards at the took shook with fear. They reported to the elders what had happened, and they conspire together to say that the disciples came while they were sleeping and stole Jesus' body. They were paid a large sum of money. Even to this day people want to deny what happened on the greatest day in history – the day that Jesus rose from the dead.

Music photography has always been a listener favorite, and through the years we've gathered countless stories from legendary photographers about what it takes to document all aspects of the music scene. As we temporarily pause in recording new episodes while we build out a studio for video podcasts, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and feature some noteworthy clips from our 10-year archive. This compilation of favorite moments celebrates the intersection of photographic mastery and music history, with talents spanning from Lynn Goldsmith to Mick Rock, Jeanette Beckman to Graham Nash, among the many other dedicated music photographers we've had the pleasure to interview.  If you'd like to take a deeper dive into any of the original episodes, you'll find links in our episode timeline below. If you break an arm, the path to recovery is clear, and you have a visible cast to show why you can't "help move a couch". But when it comes to mental health, there is often no clear story, no X-ray, and no obvious timeline for healing. In this final message of our series, "Light in the Pit: Faith through Depression and Anxiety," we look at the heavy reality of life in the darkness and how God meets us there. In this sermon, you will discover:• The Complexity of the Pit: Why depression is often "polygenetic"—where genetics "load the gun" and environment "pulls the trigger". We explore how neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine affect our homeostasis and motivation, making even a simple "to-do list" feel insurmountable.• The "To-Do List" Trap: Why telling someone in a depressive episode to "just pray" or "just read your Bible" can feel like an impossible mountain to climb, and how to offer physical care and love instead of spiritual cliches.• Biblical Heroes in the Dark: A look at the "grandparents' diaries" of faith—King David, Job, Jonah, and Jeremiah—who all experienced moments of melancholy, turmoil, and even a desire to die.• Elijah's "Greatest Day" to "Darkest Night": How the prophet Elijah moved from the high point of fire on Mount Carmel to a "pit" of exhaustion and isolation in a cave, begging God to take his life.• God's Holistic Care: See how God restores Elijah not by lecturing him, but by providing sleep, food, physical touch, and eventually, a "gentle whisper".• The Three Pillars of Recovery: Why the combination of seeing light, finding community, and having a sense of purpose is vital for walking out of the pit.Depression may make you feel abandoned, but the Bible reminds us that you are never alone. Jesus Himself entered the "deepest darkness"—suffering the weight of sin and true separation from God—so that He could reach into your pit and pull you into the light.Whether you are in the pit today or walking alongside someone who is, find hope in a Savior who goes all the way to the darkness to bring you home.

They also react to the news that Formula One will be directly competing with the 2026 running of the Indianapolis 500 by moving the Canadian Grand Prix to the same day. Conor expresses that the move from the FIA appears to be a blatant show of disrespect for the history of the 500, and feels motorsports fans are being cheated out of a celebrated tradition of the Greatest Day in Motorsports.Chip Ganassi Racing pilot Kyffin Simpson joins the show to discuss his recent first career top-five finish in Detroit and what his time has been like with the CGR team. Kyffin breaks down the pit strategy that helped bring him to the front of the pack and what he had to do to remain in the top five for the duration of the race. He also speaks on the steep learning curve and sheer amount of information he has been absorbing at CGR from having experienced teammates like Scott Dixon and Alex Palou. The guys chat about what areas Kyffin would like to improve in and what his goals are for the rest of the season. Kyffin also gives listeners some insight to who he is outside of the car, as he chats about island life and his love for water sports.

The Last and Greatest DayDecember 29, 2024 • Greg Pinkner • John 7This Sunday, Greg teaches from John 7. He looks at the significance of New Year's as a time for renewal. He connects it to the Jewish festivals, particularly Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and the Festival of Booths, which illustrate God's provision and redemption. These festivals point to Jesus as the fulfillment of God's promises, offering living water and eternal rest for weary souls. Jesus' invitation to “come to me” is central to faith, as only through Him can we find true sustenance and life. We need to have reliance on God's grace, it is a guarantee of renewal and hope in Christ, far beyond the fleeting resolutions of a new year.WEBSITE: https://fellowshipknox.org/INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/fellowshipknox/
