Wade Wilson is back and he's brought the Ol' Canucklehead with him! Join us as we review the absolute bonkers ride that is Deadpool & Wolverine. We unpack why this film isn't called Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman's epic return as our favorite mutton-chopped Canadian, each and every surprise cameo, and all the box office records it's breaking as Marvel Studios' first R-rated movie. Plus, we debate whether or not the character of Deadpool can truly find his place in the MCU while lampooning it at the same time. **This episode is full of spoilers if you haven't seen Deadpool & Wolverine.

The first time I witnessed Anvil (twice in one night!) was at The Danforth Music Hall when they opened for Motorhead on their Ace of Spades tour. Lights went down and a mop-topped crazed guitarist ran through the crowd in full guitar-on-stun mode by way of introduction. They definitely got my attention ... so much so that I still call myself a fan some 44 years (and counting!) later. (In fact, this seasoned concert goer hasn't seen any other band as many times as I've taken in these Canuckleheads in a live setting.) Here The Mighty Decibel curates the Canadian band's best 40 minutes from their first three classic albums for your listening and headbanging pleasure. Let the bedroom games begin!!! Show Notes provided by Arco Esposito Every once in a generation pop culture is treated to a truly momentous event that changes the landscape as we know it. One such moment began with Marvels second mutant revolution, 1975's Giant Size X-men #1! Here we were treated with new and interesting characters, mostly for the first time. Who would have thought that one throw away character introduced a year earlier would go on to be the mutant world's most well known and beloved figure?? That's right folks, we are talking about everyone's favorite Canucklehead, Wolverine! Join your favorite Mint Condition podcasters as they take a header into the rich history of Wolverine, a character born of simple beginnings, yet one who has achieved the honor and success of being perhaps the most well known figure the mighty Marvel bullpen has ever graced us fans with! From Weapon X to X-Men to just being James Howlett, we show that our love for Wolverine is as strong as an adimantium hug! Enjoy!
Everyone's favourite Canucklehead gets an origin movie! What could possibly go wrong? This week in anguish: - Various and sundry topics after a two-and-one week in which the wins felt pale and wan in comparison to coming up snake eyes against Vegas yet again. - We head back to 1994 for a black-red-yellow song suggestion, and then stay there to bask in the hyper-local, Canuckian invention of Cameo 1.0 that was Rob's Stag. - We learn that Zadorov, like Petey before him, is a surprisingly dyed-in-the-wool Canucks fan. What would a team of all Canuckleheads look like? - We look back to 2019 and chortle with Epimethean hindsight at the Hockey News' projection for this year's roster. Thanks for listening! Real movie fans buy a lot of movies. The REALEST movie fans buy movies they've never even seen. The even REALER REALEST movie fans buy movies they've never seen and often don't watch them for years... Even decades. This week we help to assuage this weighty, watchlist affliction by assisting Jake in ensuring his well earned money has been spent wisely by watching two bangers from his back catalogue. We kick things off with a discussion about a snow suit and social commentary infused, Exploitation/Docu-Drama from Canucklehead land, Gina (1975). Then we throw on our crispiest pair of tighty whities and descened into a nightmare world of gay panic and hairy thighs in the Giallo inspired weirdness of Hanging Heart (1989). The All Star break is a week away and we still have upheaval in the Western Conference. The B's have lost two in a row for the first time all year and the trade deadline looms large. We start with a potential goaltending controversy in Calgary, where Dan Vladar has won 5 in a row and has better numbers than Markstrom. Auston Matthews is out for a minimum of 3 weeks...how could that affect Toronto? Jimmy Murphy has speculated that either Brandon Carlo or Jake DeBrusk would have to be included to acquire Bo Horvat. Ilya Mikheyev will miss the rest of the season after having surgery. The Canucks however have no cure for their canucklehead ills. Jim Montgomery updated us on Jake DeBrusk. Matt Nieto was traded back to the Avs in a four player trade with the Ducks. We talk about two Bruins prospects and discuss the latest faux pas by Bruce Cassidy. Listen, comment and...Enjoy the Show!
This week Chuck Connors delivers his sexiest performance while taking some city boys (one of them the Master of Beasts) out on the trail all slick-style in the oddball made for TV Sci-Fi something or other, High Desert Kill (1989). Then we dive into a DTV, Canucklehead action classic with Rowdy Roddy Piper, Billy Blanks and a Zubaz soaked McNamara Bros cameo in Back in Action (1994). Youtube viewer Canucklehead wants to know which number to multiply and when. Great question. One of the biggest problems in business valuation is when people confuse valuation factors. Apply a 3X EBITDA factor to SDE and you'll overpay for the business. But are these hard and fast rules… or just guidelines? In this week's video, I discuss when the different cash flow levels made sense and why, in the end, you need to be thinking beyond just math. Welcome back to our series where we curate what we think are the best 40 minutes of music from an underrated band's career ... with headbangers and hard rockers in mind (ie. you won't be hearing many ballads!). Basically, it's what we'd put on a single vinyl release (being limited to 20 minutes per side) if we were asked to put a Best Of record together to convince the uninitiated long haired miscreant that this band is worth checking out. This episode is dedicated to Canadian rockers ... Tragically Hip. Worshiped in the Great White North and ignored internationally, it's time to share what Canuckleheads hold dear. Note: This podcast/video focuses on the band's 90s albums, the era that is most suitable for hard rockers. Crank up that courage and get into The Hip fully, completely! From the minds that brought you Talk'n Pop comes Talk'n WCW, a unique look at the talents and matches that built the legacy of World Championship Wrestling. Paul Wight was memorably described by long-time rival Kevin Nash as "one-dimensional," but Jenny, Tim, and Greg put the lie to that criticism by examining three -- wait, make that four! -- big time matches showcasing the versatility and dominance of WCW's Giant! With power, agility, and rapid regenerative abilities that would put a certain diminutive Canucklehead to shame, our selection of bouts highlights The Giant's prowess both in-ring and behind the wheel (allegedly). Listen as the industry's three biggest stars CRUMBLE before his might, shorn of their dignity, their gold, and their... spot! Who says WCW couldn't book a Giant??
