While these tribes are content to settle just outside the land God promised to Israel, their decision brings up important questions about complacency, compromise, and the cost of settling for less than God's best. What does it mean to be "close" to God's promises but not fully enter into them? Join us as we explore the tension between following God's call wholeheartedly and settling for a partial inheritance. This episode challenges us to reflect on our own faith journeys and the areas where we might be settling instead of fully stepping into the blessings God has for us. - - - Intro/Outro Music "Raga Dance Of Music" by Aakash Gandhi - https://soundcloud.com/user-363764097/raga-dance-of-music | Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0) - https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/

Outfielder Sam Rice played 20 seasons in the Major Leagues - all but one with the Washington Nationals (later, the Senators). Rice retired from the game with 2,987 hits, 13 shy of the coveted mark of 3,000, making him the player that came the closest to reaching that milestone. Before then, we summarise our collective anger at the recent revelations levelled against the WRU in their treatment of the women's national team, go over some surprising PWR results and briefly reflect on a good weekend for the Tigers feeder clubs in Champ 1! Despite a valiant comeback, there will be no victory cigars for Brad Underwood's Illini after an 83-78 loss at Purdue. Mike Carpenter reacts during the second half which saw Illinois outscore the Boilers 46-38, keyed on by Marcus Domask's 26 points, 18 from Guerrier and 16 from Goode. But Matt Painter's top-ranked squad was simply too deep and too talented, digging an early hole for their opponent from which they never recovered.

The Mavs played and lost their second straight game with Luka and Kyrie together. It was a weird game where the Mavs could not get a stop early, definitely couldn't defend the rim, and let both Rudy Gobert and Anthony Edwards do whatever they wanted.... then the 4th quarter happened. In that 4th quarter, Kyrie Irving scored the 3rd most points of any Maverick ever has in a single quarter. Behind only Dirk and Luka. It was a loss, but you can see the potential for this team. The U.S. Civil War is one of the most intriguing, impactful events in not only our nation's history, but consequently world history. Within these 4 years, one single occurrence could have altered the outcome of the struggle and ultimately the fate of the Union. In September of 1862, the war was still young and both sides were experiencing moral-lifting victories and crushing defeats. Confederate general Robert E. Lee had the reputation as an accomplished, formidable advisory to the Union forces and was living up to this status. He seized the initiative in the early fall and began advancing north for a possible all-out invasion. It was a pivotal time in the war. If Lee could score a decisive victory, European nations, such as England or France, might recognize the Confederacy, and the war for all intents and purposes – would be over. The South would be a triumphant independent nation and President Abraham Lincoln's dream of a unified country would be lost.
