You know that verse in Proverbs that says “the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous”? Yeah… we need to talk about that. For years, I heard people quoting it like a divine scratch-off ticket. Sit back, wait long enough, and eventually, poof - someone else's riches end up in your account. But what if that's not what the Bible is saying at all?

Craig describes himself as "double adopted." He grew up knowing his parents had adopted him but also recognizes that he was adopted into the family of God. We love how Craig describes his experience of being adopted and how it helped him to understand His identity in Christ. You can hear Craig's understanding of God's plan for his life as he begins to share his story, including how he met his wife, Ruth. He gives an overview of a lot of his adult life in California and focuses in on changes that began to take place about 10 years ago. After 30+ years in California Craig made a big leap in his decision that caused him and Ruth to move to New Mexico. This had decision was made with intense prayer and seeking counsel from other believers. What Craig and Ruth didn't know was that the Lord was going to lead them through a season of growth, heartache and change that pushed them to trust in God like they never had before. Craig describes it as learning to give God a "blank check." Learning to live life with hands surrendered and open to what He has. Moving to New Mexico was not the end of the journey - it was only the beginning. Listen in to hear about the amazing work God did on Craig's heart and how he learned to fully lean into God and the agenda He has. This is an encouraging conversation no matter what season of life you're in. Tune in to be in the know as Craig Hill, Mike Luken, and Andy Stewart explore the crucial role of quantum safe cryptography as we approach the quantum computing era and its potential impact on current encryption methods. Discover what you need to know and how Cisco is leading the way in delivering quantum safe cryptography. The discussion begins with an overview of the urgent need to migrate to post-quantum cryptography. In the U.S., Federal agencies have been mandated by National Security Memorandum 10 to transition their cryptographic systems to withstand quantum computing attacks by 2035. This directive, enforced by the President's Office, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and the Office of the National Cyber Director, aims to mitigate future risks posed by quantum computers. Globally, governments, financial institutions, hospitals, and other entities requiring secure information protection are also taking steps to incorporate quantum-safe cryptography. Although quantum computers capable of breaking current encryption do not yet exist, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in collaboration with over 100 countries and experts, has recently released the first three finalized Post-Quantum Encryption Standards. Listen in as Craig, Mike, and Andy delve into the nuances, needs, and technical details of quantum safe cryptography, and learn how Cisco is preparing for the post-quantum world.

Today's episode is a special one, and I'm excited to share it with you. We're diving into a topic that's been on my mind a lot lately, and I think it's going to resonate with many of you. What We're Talking About Today: A Fascinating Book Passage: I'm reading from "Five Wealth Secrets" by Craig Hill, and it's sparking some deep thoughts about financial principles in the Bible. Jewish Wealth vs. Christian Wealth: We're exploring an intriguing question: Why do Jewish people seem to prosper more financially? We're diving into the numbers and what they might mean. Old Testament Wisdom: Are we missing out on blessings by ignoring Old Testament principles? We're talking about tithing, the Sabbath, and more. It's not about being under the law; it's about understanding the blessings attached to God's instructions. Living Out the Principles: It's one thing to know Bible verses; it's another to live them out. We're challenging ourselves to study and live out the principles, both Old Testament and New. Key Takeaways: Don't Dismiss Old Testament Principles: There may be blessings attached to living the way God has instructed, even in the Old Testament. Balance Knowledge and Action: Knowing where a Bible passage is located is great, but living out the principle is what truly matters. Seek Deeper Understanding: There's no limit to how deep we can go with God. Let's hunt down and chase after the blessings of God available to us. Join us on this journey, and let's explore what God has for us together. If you have any stories or testimonies to share, hit us up on Instagram or email us. We'd love to hear from you. Katie J. Carsten radically encountered the Lord Jesus Christ and His love for her in 2014 and she has been on fire for Him ever since. She spent many years as a nurse until the Lord called her away from her job in 2018, telling her that her primary ministry was to her family and to bring them to Him. Little did she know that less than a year later she would encounter the greatest fight of her life, the fight for her son's salvation and destiny. God, in His infinite wisdom and great love, prepared her in advance for what was coming, making sure that she had the time needed to devote not only to the battle, but to her family and the women God has brought into her life and He has more than abundantly provided for her and her family. In this episode Katie shares: -Her personal faith walk and encounter with Jesus and the Holy Spirit -Experiencing her son embark on a dark path -Growing in her knowledge of the Word of God and learning about authority -Being baptized in the Holy Spirit and the revelation of her authority -Applying specific scripture and declarations over her son and standing in faith when it was hard (years) -Being told to give the same grace that she had received -How the devil tries to discourage in ways we don't expect -A prophetic word given to her about her son when things looked hopeless -An encounter her son has with Jesus Christ in the spirit realm -Eventual fulfillment of the prophecy and answers to prayer above and beyond what she could have imagined -The power of just one parent in prayer is enough -Her passion to help parents and families understand the authority they carry, and effective ways to pray -God calling her to write a book to help our prodigals Isaiah 54:13 (Insert names) will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace. Isaiah 61:3 (Insert names) will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. "You better believe he can meet our prodigals. Anyone's prodigal, Anyone's lost ones, no matter how lost, how deceived, they are not too far gone for Jesus. Don't give up. That's the key. Don't give up. Never ever stop believing. Never. Even if you have to go to your grave believing, you go to your grave believing for their salvation." - Katie Carsten How to reach Katie: Katiekmj1@gmail.com Katie's new book and resource to equip moms in their prayer life: https://www.amazon.com/Calling-Prodigals-Home-Mothers-Wickedness-ebook/dp/B0BM6V1QWP/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2X8C5TAL4JJSN&keywords=katie+carsten+calling+the+prodigals&qid=1668699303&sprefix=katie+carsten+calling+the+prodigal%2Caps%2C79&sr=8-1 Other resources for prayer over our children that have blessed me include Stormie Omartian's The Power of a Praying Parent and Craig Hill's The Power of a Parent's Blessing.

Are you looking for ways to live the life you've always wanted? Every living soul in this world has a purpose. We were all born to live the lives we desire and make a positive impact. But sometimes, people, experiences, and many other things keep us from living our God-given purpose and reaching our potential. In this episode of The Mentee Podcast, Craig Hill shares powerful lessons you can apply to help you enrich your life and tap into your potential. He also talks about preventing generational curses and the significance of blessings in life. Here are some power takeaways from today's conversation: Living by the ancient paths can improve your life Listening to God's voice will help you understand your purpose You can change what's in your heart Through God, you can overcome your shame and self-loathing Bless your children instead of hurting them Guilt and shame are not the same Episode Highlights: [09:16] Living by the Ancient Paths There are ancient paths that control all elements of life, including wealth, marriage, physical and mental health, and child development. Following the ancient paths teaches us life lessons and allows us to live in God's way. In Craig's book “The Power of a Parent's Blessing,” he explains how parents can empower their children by blessing them at critical moments in their lives. These blessings enable them to achieve their goals and flourish in life. [11:42] Knowing Your Purpose in Life Your ability to know who you are and your purpose in this world depends on the beliefs in your heart. The devil will try to diminish your purpose by using people to feed you negative thoughts about who you are and what you're capable of. On the other hand, listening to God's voice will help you understand yourself, your importance, and His intentions for you. [19:07] Changing What's in Your Heart Through the Ancient Path online seminars, Craig Hill leads people through a ministry process designed to help them identify the lies in the depths of their hearts. [27:04] Overcoming Your Shame and Self-Loathing The hurtful words you hear as a child can remain with you for years. They bring you pain long after the other person will have forgotten they even uttered them. It's important that you take a step back and realize they're not the truth — they are not God's words. By speaking with God, you can replace the lies with love. [41:29] How to Be Better Parents Parents need to learn how to bless their children and not curse them. Never impart negative thoughts onto your children's hearts because it will devastate them. They can carry that hurt in their hearts forever. Instead, bless your children so that they can grow to live their God-given purpose. [1:01:21] Distinguishing Guilt from Shame It's perfectly fine to feel guilty because guilt is something God has placed in our life. When you deviate, it makes you realize your wrongdoings and repent. Parents should stop making their children feel bad about themselves for making mistakes. Likewise, parents must learn the difference between identity and behavior to discipline their children properly. Rather than making them feel shame, talk to your children about how to change their behaviors, even if it requires disciplining them. It is for their own benefit.
