Ministry comes at us fast and it can be difficult and challenging to stay organized and handle all of the administrative tasks in addition to ministry demands. Getting organized is an important topic to talk about as kidmin leaders. Especially if administration is not one of your main gifts. Today we welcome Brittany Nelson to the show. Brittany Nelson is a former children's pastor and the creator of DeeperKidMin.com, an online hub of downloadable resources made for children's ministry leaders by children's ministry leaders. She works to support children's ministry leaders around the world by sharing resources and encouragement that grow kids deeper in their faith. Her other adventures include being a mom to the 2 sweetest little girls, reading as many books as she can, volunteering in children's and youth ministry, and drinking lots of herbal tea. She one day hopes to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon dressed as her favorite princess, Belle. You definitely don't want to miss this podcast. It will give you some great tips and tricks to get organized and succeed. We hope you are ready for the Kidmin Tribe today! SHOW NOTES

Today's conversation is with Dr. Kim Rodriguez, founder of the running group Latinas Running and owner of the chiropractic practice Kirocare Family Wellness in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Rodriguez's own health journey ultimately led her to place where she's created, and hopes to maintain and grow spaces for athletes of all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities to feel comfortable getting outdoors and enjoy moving their body. In college, Kim was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and struggled with the changes it brought to her body. But rather than hiding from challenges, Kim decided to turn this into a moment of empowerment and along the way found running. While on her running the Disney Princess Half Marathon, she realized that there weren't many people who looked like her and took that opportunity to create a space for anyone else who feels underrepresented in the running community and so Latinas Running was born. In addition, in her chiropractic practice Kirocare Family Wellness she creates a body positive environment where she hopes her patients know that health does not have one size or look. Dr. Rodriguez encourages people to set boundaries when it comes to comments about their physical appearance and to find their best self whatever that may look like. For more, follow her practice on Instagram: @kirocarefamilywellness or visit https://kirocarefamilywellness.janeapp.com/ Check her personal IG: @dr.kimpossible And Latinas Running at @latinasrunning
