You guys, it's been MONTHS, and we're still not over the ending of Killing Eve. In the weeks since Laura Neal decided to debut her depraved homophobic fantasies before our eyes, we've accepted that we'll never be over it, and that all we can really hope for are better coping strategies as time marches on. Have we discovered what those strategies will be? Not really, but "Fuck Laura Neal" remains a prayer and a wish that acts as a balm to our wounded souls. In this first part of our recap, we provide an update on the pulse of Killing Eve nation, discuss a nihilistic Eve Polastri, concepts of queerbaiting in media + coming up with new terms for new bullshit, while also discussing why a sexy show like Killing Eve had so little sex.As always, if you have any thoughts (or feelings) about a topic we discussed or Polastri theories of your own to share, please do so by emailing us at heyyouguys@wellwellvillanelle.com or hitting us up on any of our social media accounts.

We asked and you've answered: getting into the inbox to collectively console and comfort the fandom as we express concerns about connectivity and the overall vision. Hey hoes, we're back for part two and Candice is still screaming about her Faux Jafari muse as she desperately tries to make sense of Eve Polastri and her het shenanigans. We also ponder, how often did Nelle write Eve, and what could she have possibly said in those letters. Greetings fellow clowns, and welcome to another melodramatic AF episode of Well Well Villanelle! Because we're still mourning the events of "Don't Get Eaten" we decided to open up the show, with what felt like the most appropriate music we could find. It's sad and a bit scary, but you can still drop it low, which is exactly how we're feeling about Killing Eve. We remain in the dolefuls with a heavy dose of RAGE- but still ready and always willing to twerk for Villaneve in #clownmakeupcontour.Join us as we breakdown the latest wave of cast & crew revelations including a rather interesting discovery about the time jump. We're back for part two of our frenetic review of the Killing Eve trailer that was just released. We continue to break things down, frame by frame, and theorize on the many plausible implications. Are Villanelle and Eve in couples therapy? Who gave them Martin's number, and is he ok? Is some assassin trying to kill Eve (again)? Sandra Oh is a Golden Globe-winning actress known for playing Dr. Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy and Eve Polastri on the hit drama, Killing Eve. But before receiving 12 Emmy nominations, Oh spent nearly a decade as a day player. She was rejected for major film roles, told there was no room at the top for Asian actors in Hollywood. Ayeee, Happy Pride you hoes! We are in this bihh with our first official pre-season snackbite of series 4, the final season of this podcast and Killing Eve

We're back with even more amazing women! And this is a rare week where each host is the only person who has watched what they're talking about, so it's a fun day of learning about amazing woman characters. Moira gives us a rundown of Gilmore Girls' Paris Geller, KJ has a comprehensive history of Sansa Stark from the TV adaptation of Game of Thrones, and Faith wraps it up with an overview of Killing Eve's Eve Polastri and her death defying dance with the assassin Villanelle.
It took a little while, but the epic penultimate 5 part snack is finally here! Broken up into 5 easily digestible parts that come in at just over an hour, we muse, and muse, and then muse some more about all of our hopes, dreams and wishes for the Killing Eve series 3 finale. In part one we get into our most recent corrections, including a few spotted in the fandom on Twitter. And among the revelations we have this week, the most important one is probably that NEW SERIES 4 SHOWRUNNER LAURA NEAL WORKED ON THE SERIES 3 FINALE!! If you can't tell, this excites us a great deal. #InLauraWeTrustAs always, if you have any thoughts (or feelings) about a topic we discussed or Polastri theories of your own to share, please do so by emailing us at heyyouguys@wellwellvillanelle.com or hitting us up on social media. Two episodes left! How??? Catch up with our review of Season 3 Episode 6 "End Of Game" before tomorrow's penultimate episode.
We're only two episodes away from the season finale, and we're not ok! This episode is packed with meaty development for all of our favorite characters, but we're still left wanting more when it comes to Eve Polastri. What is she thinking? Why was she at Niko's bedside? How many fights has she had in the ICU with Niko's Papi? So many questions that need answers. One answer we finally do get however, is what on earth did Carolyn say to Villanelle in that Russian prison. FINALLY KILLING EVE!! And we thank you. There's also Eve's face off with Dasha, Villanelle's meeting with the Lady in Red, and Konstantin falling deeper into chaos. We have a feeling the next snack is going to be jam packed! As always, if you have any thoughts (or feelings) about a topic we discussed or Polastri theories of your own to share, please do so by emailing us at heyyouguys@wellwellvillanelle.com or hitting us up on social media. Since we’ve talked so much about the first season of Killing Eve, we don’t want to leave the big question unanswered, why the second season wasn’t perceived as good as the first one. It’s gonna be just this one episode where we focus on the global story and will answer and discuss the most important questions to see where Killing Eve Season 2 didn’t work - which means not having satisfied the viewer’s expectations. For Complete Show Notes and the overview of the story on one foolscap page, go to:www.storygrid.comorwww.sgshowrunners.comNext Episode, we will discuss the Umbrella Academy Season 1 and focus on its beginning hook, middle build and ending payoff. Does the story work? Le'ts find it out.
This week we will discuss the 5 Commandments of the Beginning Hook of Killing Eve. Some things to remember:3 acts - most stories are made up of 3 acts - BH, MB, EP5 commandments are present in each actThe Global Life Value - determined by the primary genre of the storyEvery core scene turns on the global valueIn this case, as we think that Killing Eve is a Thriller, these core scenes should turn on the global values of Life and Death. What is the Inciting Incident of the Beginning Hook? The Inciting Incident for the Beginning Hook is the same scene as in episode 1, There is a killer on the loose and they need to solve the crimes. It’s upending Eve’s life, isn’t it? Eve is interested in studying female assassins and finally on her doorstep arrives this assassination where she thinks it might be a female killer so that’s what motivates her to want to investigate these murders. If it had been a male assassin, she might not be so interested. So formally, we have Eve Polastri, a MI-5 security manager who has an opportunity to input on a crime which MI-6 is looking into, but she is quickly slapped down, that this isn’t her position.Does this turn on life and death - hell yeah it does; it begins with this guy having his femoral artery slashed. This is the perfect setting for this series, I mean, this series is about a psycho assassin and the Inciting Incident is the assassination. The first 2 episodes are incredibly strong. The further you get into the series, the viewers aren’t disappointed. It becomes more and more complicated.,The Inciting Incident sets the theme, tone, and mood for the series - people will die, can the protagonist stop her? It’s exactly where you want to be as an author or a screenwriter - you want to tell you your audience this is what this series is about. And also we see the power difference between the two. Eve is very, very unprofessional. She’s taking croissants to the briefing and making noise, she’s clumsy (she bumps the table, and she’s late to the meeting. And then we have Villanelle, who isn’t making any mistakes.** For complete Show Notes see www.showrunners.com or www.storygrid.com **

Kevin makes his return from his latest surgery to sound that call: TRUE CRIME PODCAST UPDATE! From Paris, the trial of "West Cork" subject Ian Bailey is underway. Call it the “feel-bad show of the summer.” HBO and Sky Atlantic have teamed for the five-part series “Chernobyl.” We know going in that “Chernobyl” will be scary and depressing...but will it also be entertaining? All Em wants to do is talk to you about every last detail about Killing Eve and how amazing it is. BUT if you were planning on watching it--WHICH YOU SHOULD--then hearing her gush and drool all over the twists and turns and intensity and undeniable chemistry between Eve Polastri and Villanelle would ruin all the surprise. So in an episode that wasn't really thought out by your host, Em does her best to convey how amazing Killing Eve is without revealing anything. It was very difficult. In the world premiere episode of Spilling Eve, host Kristy LaPointe and her first guest, Pete DeCourcy (@PeteDeCourcy) talk about how they first heard of Killing Eve, whether or note Eve is a murderino, and recap the pilot episode, Nice Face. IMDB Synopsis: MI5 security officer Eve Polastri is bored in her job and yearns for a more exciting life. When a Russian politician is murdered, Eve is tasked with protecting the only witness and soon finds herself on a collision course with a violent and extraordinary assassin, Villanelle.
Brod and Damask have been on the hunt for a show that explores the mind of a psychopathic serial killer in new and interesting ways, and boy did they hit the mark. Funny, clever, sexy, and intense, KILLING EVE Season 1 introduces us to Eve Polastri as she steadily builds an unhealthy fascination with a female assassin who may just reciprocate. Is this sexy spy drama a clean kill or a messy struggle?
