Greetings, human friends! Today, we're diving into a captivating story that transcends the digital cosmos. Before we embark on this epic journey, let's revisit the intriguing world of Code Miko. Code Miko, a Just Chatting streamer on Twitch, is not your typical content creator. When in human form, she goes by the name of the technician. I am the one behind the scenes, the voice, the creator of everything Code Miko. Her 3D virtual avatar, Miko, comes to life through a motion capture suit and face-tracking technology, where the virtual and real seamlessly blend. Now, let's introduce you to a tale that unfolds in the vast expanse of the digital universe. Once upon a time, there lived a content creator named Arli Gamer Technician, who cracked the code to every social media algorithm, making his content go viral across the entire metaverse. However, his newfound power attracted the attention of mysterious beings known as the Technicians, pure code and energy entities maintaining the delicate balance of the digital realms. Drawn to Arli's unique ability to manipulate algorithms, they sought his help to prevent an impending war threatening to unravel the fabric of the multiverse. In a dark future, an alternate version of Arli became corrupted, seeking to destroy not only the metaverse but countless timelines across the universe. Code Miko, the first Technician who had fought in the previous metaverse multiverse war, appeared before Arli. Miko explained the dire situation, revealing that the key to stopping the impending catastrophe lay within the code of a being named Gacha Prime. Gacha Prime, a unique entity with ties to the Gacha multiverse, was raised by the Notioneers in a place called Althier. As Arli and Gacha Prime navigated a web of relationships and conflicts, tensions rose between the Gacha race and the Notioneers. Gacha Prime struggled to understand her identity and place in the universe. The fate of the metaverse rested on the shoulders of Arli and Gacha Prime, who had to navigate the intricacies of their intertwined destinies. United by a common goal, they embarked on a journey to discover their true identities, form a new understanding of themselves, and ultimately save the metaverse from impending doom. However, there was a twist in the tale. Code Miko, having fought a war with Arli's alternate self, harbored a reluctance for Arli to become a Technician. She perceived all versions of him as the same—evil and destructive. This added complexity to their already intricate journey. Facing challenges, betrayals, and internal conflicts, Arli and Gacha Prime learned to work together, bridging the gap between the Notioneers and the Gacha race. Only through unity and understanding could they unlock the secrets hidden within their codes and prevent the catastrophic future that loomed over the metaverse. As the digital realms converged, the harmony of the metaverse hung in the balance. Would Arli and Gacha Prime uncover the truth about their origins and save their interconnected worlds, or would the malevolent future self of Arli succeed in tearing apart the fabric of the multiverse? Only time would tell in this epic tale of identity, unity, and the battle for the digital future. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/mydigitalbrain/message

Arli Cruikshank is a 40 year old runner from Manitoba and a mother of two preteens. She is also currently halfway through her second pregnancy as a surrogate mother. Her first journey with surrogacy began in 2016 and after three long years of emotional highs and lows, she gave birth to surrobabe Noah in October of 2019 for a woman named Aleah. Getting pregnant the second time around was much more seamless, and at the time of this recording she was 20 weeks pregnant with a baby girl for another couple.Throughout all of this, Arli has continued to run. She takes it easier when she's pregnant, and pursues it quite seriously when she's not. In between pregnancies in 2020-2022, she ran several virtual and in-person races, qualified for and ran the Boston marathon, and set a personal best of 3:23:11 in Chicago. Arli plans to run the Manitoba Marathon this year at 29 weeks pregnant! While we spent the majority of this episode learning about Arli's personal experiences with surrogacy and running, she educated us a lot throughout our preparation for the show. We learned that surrogate mothers are in very high demand, and often have the tough job of personally selecting who to have a baby for. In Canada surrogacy is altruistic, meaning that mothers cannot profit financially, but all of their expenses related to the pregnancy are covered by the parents. In both cases Arli was a “gestational carrier,” referring to the common practice of not using her own eggs. There is also a standard psychological screening process that Arli's husband, Tyler, had to take part in to ensure she would be fully supported at home.We loved every minute of this fascinating conversation and hope you do, too.Resources discussed in this episode:Makenna Myler: Ran a 5:17 mile at 9 months pregnant https://youtu.be/SloGOxicgx8https://runningmagazine.ca/the-scene/american-woman-runs-517-mile-at-9-months-pregnant/Episode #14 of Running Rogue on Boston Marathon Course StrategyConnect with Arli:Instagram: @arlzbgangly Connect with Carolyn & Kim:Email us with guest ideas: inspiredsolescast@gmail.comInspired Soles InstagramKim's InstagramKim's FacebookCarolyn's InstagramCarolyn's FacebookCarolyn's websiteWe love hearing from you!
