Welcome to week two of Trump and Project 2025's Reign of Terror. A convicted felon, a Russian asset, an adjudicated rapist, a chronic cheater, a trust-fund brat with six bankruptcies, and a psychopath displaying clear signs of dementia is dismantling the foundations of American democracy, just as promised—and just as we warned. The cruelty is sending dangerous shockwaves across the globe. With each passing day under this regime, the nightmare grows darker. But here on Gaslit Nation, we're fighting back. Truth is on our side, and our collective liberation and survival depend on our unity and resolve. Together, we can resist, rebuild, and reclaim the future. This week, we're joined by Terrell Starr of the Black Diplomats Podcast and Substack, reporting from Kyiv, Ukraine. He shares his insights on how people around the world can navigate these perilous times, and offers ways forward for the opposition here at home. In this week's bonus show—available to our Truth-teller subscribers ($5/month and above)—we tackle a difficult and necessary conversation: how the Left can unite despite lingering resentments over the 2024 election, including the question of who refused to vote and why. Gaza will cease to exist under Trump. Under President Kamala Harris, we stood a stronger chance to shift the status quo on Israel and Palestine. We warned that the moral imperative was to vote for the lesser evil to avoid the total evil now being unleashed on the world. Want to enjoy Gaslit Nation ad-free?

Strange Brew! What has kept the Odyssey2 alive into the 21st century? Gareth and Matt enjoy a warm and fuzzy recollection of days gone by in this the third installment of the Retro Tech Addicts podcast. This day in the past First two Video Games Copyrighted Speak And Spell The favourite phone?Matt: Touch Pro2 Gareth: Google Nexus One My first Mame cabinet Matt: His cabinet Gareth: :( Listeners: Hi MTA Team, I have been listening to the podcast for many episodes, I started listening when Chris A was co-host with Gareth, and I've pretty much listened to all the episodes to about 180, and now listening to the latest ones as they come out. I like the retro show too, as I have a long standing interest in home computers from the 70s / 80s, LED calculators and pretty much anything Sinclair related. Nice to see someone remembers the G7000 line of machines, as it wasn't a terribly popular machine. Fully agree with the comments about the CBM Plus4, a shocking machine. I have around ~200 machines, and the list of stuff I have is below, as Gareth was interested. I have multiples of some machines, like the BBC, where I obtained a whole BBC network of around 10 machines in one hit, from a skip. @gareth : I have several boxed G7000s plus maybe some unboxed, a couple of G7200s, at least one G7400 and the chess computer. I also have around 40 games, including the 3 marvellous board games they did. They are a work of art. The later games have an enhanced mode, denoted by a '+', which when run on a G7400, give slightly better graphics. These are pretty difficult to find, and the higher the number the rarer. The G7200 was never sold in this country, to my knowledge, and the two I have came from Holland and France. You discussed the Odyssey, and you are correct that the O^2 was the G7000. There was an original Odyssey sold in the UK, not just the states, from around '73, which is near impossible to find (and I don't have one). Keep up the good work, both for the Retro and Mobile shows.
