Der 1958 in Japan geborene Musiker Jun Miyake lebt seit langem in Paris. Mit preisgekrönten Musiken für Werbespots verdiente er sich eine Zeitlang seinen Lebensunterhalt, zugleich war er immer auch aktiver Jazzmusiker. Nun hat er ein Album veröffentlicht, das an poetischer Kraft und unerwarteter Schönheit der Zwischenstimmungen kaum zu überbieten ist.
