Before the pace of the day begins to gather around us, let's quietly come into God's presence and allow His unfailing love to steady our hearts for everything that lies ahead. Every new morning is a reminder that God has not finished with us. Whatever yesterday may have held—whether it brought joy, disappointment, unanswered questions or quiet victories—today is a fresh opportunity to walk with the Lord. His love has not diminished overnight, His faithfulness has not weakened and His promises remain as certain as the rising of the sun. We do not begin this day relying on our own strength; we begin by receiving the love that God freely pours into every willing heart. Psalm 90:14 (NIV) “Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.” What a wonderful way to begin a new day. Before we ask God for guidance, provision or strength, He first invites us to rest in His unfailing love. From that secure place, courage begins to grow, hope quietly returns and our hearts become ready for whatever today may bring. So this morning, let's gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because the steadfast love of God is already waiting for us at the beginning of this new day. Before we settle into the quietness of the evening, let's pause together and remember one beautiful truth that can carry us peacefully through the night: we are never beyond the loving presence of God. There are days that leave us with a deep sense of gratitude, and there are days that leave us with unanswered questions. Most Saturdays contain a little of both. Yet whatever this day has held, the Lord has remained faithful from its first light until this very moment. Perth • Christchurch • Singapore • Dallas • Valparaíso GUIDANCE • TRUST • DIRECTION Good morning, and welcome to DailyPrayer.uk. I'm Reverend Ben Cooper. Come in for five minutes, let's open God's Word together, and let's pray. Before the pace of this day begins, before decisions are made and conversations unfold, there is a quiet opportunity to place every step into God's hands. You may not know everything this day will hold, but you can know the One who will walk with you through it. If you're asking the Lord for guidance, wisdom or quiet confidence, let's seek Him together before we move any further. Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” What a gracious invitation. God never asks us to carry tomorrow alone. He calls us to trust Him one step at a time, knowing that His wisdom reaches beyond our understanding and His love never leaves our side. As we begin this day, let's remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Christ is leading us along a path shaped by His faithfulness and grace. Father, thank You for going before us today. Thank You that every path is known to You, every prayer is heard by You and every moment is held within Your loving care. Lord Jesus, guide those who feel uncertain, strengthen those who are weary, bring healing to those who are unwell and fill every listener with courage to follow wherever You lead. Perth • Wellington • Singapore • Dallas • São Paulo LOVE • HOPE • ASSURANCE Some truths become even more precious when life feels uncertain. When the future seems unclear, when prayers appear unanswered or when our hearts grow tired, we need something that does not move with changing circumstances. Today, let's quietly return to one of the greatest promises in all of Scripture and allow it to settle deeply within our hearts. Romans 8:38–39 (NIV) “For I am convinced that neither death nor life… nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” These words remind us that God's love is not fragile. It does not disappear when life becomes difficult or when our faith feels small. His love remains constant, faithful and secure because it rests upon His unchanging character rather than our changing circumstances. That is where our hope is found. Father, thank You for loving us with an everlasting love that never fades. Thank You that even when we cannot see the whole journey ahead, Your heart remains turned towards us with kindness and mercy. Lord Jesus, draw close to every listener today. Bring healing to those who are carrying pain, comfort to those who feel forgotten, peace to troubled minds and fresh hope to every discouraged heart. Help us to live confidently, knowing that nothing can separate us from Your love. Holy Spirit, fill us again with quiet assurance, strengthen our faith and help us become people who reflect Your love wherever we go. Send us your feedback — we're listening2 Thessalonians 3:3 — Standing Firm When Faith Is Tested Live from our studios in London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Abuja • Manila • Houston • Nairobi • Wellington FAITHFULNESS • ENDURANCE • STRENGTH Today's prayer is for believers who are standing firm in difficult places, for Christians facing pressure because of their faith, and for those quietly trusting Jesus when life feels challenging. Together we remember the persecuted and underground church, and we pray for strength, courage, and faithfulness. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NIV) “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” Across the world today, there are believers gathering in homes, small rooms, hidden places, and quiet corners. Some will worship openly. Others will lower their voices. Some will carry a Bible freely. Others will carry God's Word carefully and discreetly. Yet they all belong to the same family. As we begin this part of the day, it is good to pause and remember them. Many of us understand what it feels like to face pressure, uncertainty, or opposition. Yet for some believers, following Jesus comes with risks that most of us will never fully understand. Even so, they continue to pray. They continue to worship. They continue to trust the Lord. Why? Because the Lord is faithful. Not faithful only when life is easy. Not faithful only when prayers are quickly answered. Faithful always. The same Jesus who strengthens believers meeting quietly in difficult places is the same Jesus who walks beside us today. Father, we lift before You our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering because they follow Christ. Strengthen those who are weary. Protect those who feel vulnerable. Encourage those who feel alone. Remind them that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten. Lord Jesus, help us to remain faithful wherever You have placed us. Give us courage when faith is tested, wisdom when decisions are difficult, and peace when circumstances feel uncertain. Holy Spirit, unite Your Church across every nation and language. Fill Your people with endurance, hope, and quiet confidence today. From Abuja to Manila, from Houston to Nairobi and Wellington, may believers know the comfort of Your presence and the strength of Your faithfulness. Jesús, fortalece a Tu pueblo hoy. Chicago • Lagos • São Paulo • Christchurch • Singapore LOVE • BELONGING • REASSURANCE midday prayer for God's love • Christian encouragement for difficult days • prayer for feeling valued and accepted • finding comfort in God's presence Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV) “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” There are moments when people begin to question their value. Life can be demanding, and disappointments can leave us feeling overlooked, unimportant, or forgotten. Sometimes we become so aware of our weaknesses that we struggle to remember how God sees us. Many people carry that burden quietly. The world often measures people by achievement, success, appearance, or performance. When those things feel uncertain, self-worth can become fragile. Yet God's love does not operate according to human measurements. His love is not earned through perfection, and His care is not dependent upon our performance. Zephaniah paints one of the most beautiful pictures in Scripture. The Lord is not distant from His people. He is present with them. He delights in them. He rejoices over them. Imagine that for a moment. The God who created heaven and earth looks upon His children with love, compassion, and delight. When we truly understand that truth, it begins to change how we see ourselves. We are not abandoned. We are not forgotten. We are not overlooked. We are deeply loved by God. Father, thank You that Your love remains constant even when my feelings change. Thank You that my worth is found in You and not in the opinions of others. Jesus, help me see myself through Your eyes today. Remind me that I am loved, accepted, and welcomed by Your grace. When self-doubt appears, help me stand securely in Your love. Holy Spirit, fill my heart with confidence and peace. Replace insecurity with assurance, loneliness with belonging, and fear with trust. Help me rest in the truth that I am deeply loved by God. Nashville • Lagos • Singapore • Auckland • Tokyo PROTECTION • PEACE • SLEEP night prayer for peaceful sleep • Christian prayer for God's protection • resting safely in God's care • bedtime prayer for comfort and peace Psalm 121:3–4 (NIV) “He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” As the day draws to a close, many people find themselves replaying conversations, carrying concerns, or thinking about tomorrow before tomorrow has arrived. The body may be ready for rest, but the mind can still feel busy. Questions remain. Responsibilities remain. Situations remain unresolved. Many people carry those thoughts into the night. Psalm 121 offers one of the most comforting promises in Scripture. While we sleep, God remains watchful. While we rest, God remains attentive. While we lay down our burdens, God continues to hold all things in His hands. The Lord never becomes tired, distracted, or overwhelmed. His care never weakens and His faithfulness never fades. There is something deeply reassuring about knowing that we do not have to stay awake protecting our future. We do not have to carry every concern through the night. We can release our worries into the hands of the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps. God's watchfulness allows us to rest. Father, thank You for bringing me safely through this day. Thank You for every blessing, every protection, and every moment of grace that has carried me to this evening. Jesus, tonight I place every concern into Your hands. I release the worries I cannot solve and the questions I cannot answer. Help me trust Your care more deeply and rest in Your peace. Holy Spirit, calm every anxious thought and settle every restless feeling. Fill my heart with quiet confidence and help me sleep deeply tonight. Tudo parecia perfeito. Entretanto, a certa altura, o vinho secou. A festa podia continuar. Tu és a fonte do amor, ó Pai. Confiamos no Teu milagre. Em nome de Jesus, amém! I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'” As evening settles and the day comes to a close, many people long for more than physical rest. They long for peace. They long for the quiet confidence that comes from knowing they are safe in God's care. The responsibilities of the day may be ending, but concerns, questions, and unfinished thoughts can sometimes remain. Many people carry those thoughts into the night. Psalm 91 has comforted believers for generations because it reminds us that God is not distant from our lives. He is our refuge. He is our shelter. He is our place of safety. The image of resting beneath the shadow of His wings speaks of protection, care, and nearness. It reminds us that we are not left to face life alone. Tonight, we do not have to carry every burden into tomorrow. We can place our concerns into the hands of a faithful God. We can release the things we cannot control and trust the One who remains watchful through every hour of the night. God's presence does not diminish when the lights go out. His care remains constant. Father, thank You for bringing me safely to the end of this day. Thank You for Your protection, Your provision, and Your faithfulness throughout every moment. Jesus, tonight I place every worry, every concern, and every unanswered question into Your hands. Help me rest in the assurance that You are my refuge and my fortress. Holy Spirit, surround me with Your peace and calm every anxious thought. Fill my heart with quiet confidence and help me sleep deeply, knowing that God's loving care surrounds me. Concerns that were manageable in the afternoon can feel heavier in the quietness of the evening. Unanswered questions, family worries, health concerns, financial pressures, and the uncertainties of tomorrow can sometimes follow us all the way to our pillow. Many people understand that experience. Yet one of the most comforting truths in Scripture is that while we rest, God remains watchful. The Lord never grows tired. He never becomes distracted. He never overlooks His children. While we sleep, His care continues. While we rest, His faithfulness remains constant. The God who watched over us throughout the day continues to watch over us through the night. Psalm 121 reminds us that our security is not ultimately found in our ability to control every circumstance. Our security is found in the God who remains awake when we are asleep. His presence surrounds us. His protection covers us. His faithfulness remains unchanged from one day to the next. Father, thank You for bringing me safely to the end of this day. Thank You for every blessing I have recognised and for every act of grace I have not even seen. Thank You for Your constant care. Jesus, tonight I place every concern into Your hands. Questions may still remain unanswered. Situations may still feel uncertain. Some burdens may seem lighter than they did this morning, while others may still be resting heavily upon the heart. Many people arrive at the end of the day carrying more than they realise. One of the greatest struggles we face is the temptation to keep holding on to things that were never ours to carry alone. We replay conversations, revisit concerns, and attempt to solve tomorrow's problems before tomorrow has arrived. Yet the invitation of God is remarkably simple. Be still. Not because every problem has disappeared, but because God remains present within every circumstance. Stillness is not weakness. Stillness is trust. It is choosing to place our confidence in the God who sees what we cannot see and who is already working in ways we do not yet understand. The Lord is able to carry what we cannot carry and hold what we cannot hold. Father, thank You for bringing me safely through this day. Thank You for every blessing, every provision, every answer, and every unseen act of grace that has carried me this far. Send us your feedback — we're listeningRomans 8:38–39 — Nothing Can Separate You From The Love Of God Recorded live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Chicago • Lagos • Singapore • Auckland • Tokyo ASSURANCE • BELONGING • LOVE midday prayer for God's love • Christian encouragement for difficult seasons • finding security in Christ • assurance of God's faithfulness Romans 8:38–39 (NIV) “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future… will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” There are moments when people begin to question where they stand with God. Difficult seasons can sometimes create difficult thoughts. Failures, disappointments, unanswered prayers, and personal struggles can quietly whisper that perhaps God has become distant or that His love has somehow diminished. Many people carry those questions silently. The Apostle Paul speaks directly into that uncertainty with one of the most reassuring passages in Scripture. He does not point people toward their own strength, performance, or ability. Instead, he points them toward the unchanging love of God revealed through Jesus Christ. The foundation of our confidence is not how tightly we hold on to God. The foundation is how faithfully God holds on to us. The love of Christ is stronger than fear, stronger than failure, stronger than regret, and stronger than every circumstance that tries to convince us otherwise. His grace remains available. His mercy remains constant. His heart remains open to those who come to Him. Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and for the assurance that nothing can separate me from Your care. Jesus, when doubts arise, remind me of Your promises. When I feel weak, remind me of Your strength. When I feel uncertain, help me remember that Your love remains steady and secure. Holy Spirit, strengthen my confidence in God's love today. Help me rest in the truth that I belong to Christ and that His grace continues to sustain me through every season of life. Ló correu e avisou as filhas casadas. Deixar tudo! Portanto, “creia no Senhor teu Deus e você estará seguro. Creia nos profetas dele e você prosperará”.

Difficult seasons can sometimes make us wonder if God is still near. Disappointment can quietly whisper that we have somehow drifted beyond His care. Overall, the market has returned to the kind of tight conditions typically seen during the peak shipping season,” Jiang said.“6月的大部分舱位已被预订。 At the end of April, the freight rate for a forty-foot equivalent unit from Ningbo to ports on the US West Coast stood at about $2,900, while rates to the US East Coast were around $3,900, she said. Following several rounds of increases, rates have now climbed to nearly $5,000 for the US West Coast and close to $6,000 for the US East Coast. Meanwhile, several shipping lines are planning further rate hikes on US routes in mid-June, said Jiang. At a warehouse operated by Ningbo Ruiyuan Logistics Co, a freight forwarding company in Ningbo, consumer goods from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces are gathered before being shipped to North America. “From late April to late May, the warehouse handled an average of 70 to 80 FEUs per day, surpassing the shipping peak seen ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday this year,” said Hu Wanying, the company‘s executive vice-president.“4月下旬至5月下旬,该仓库日均处理70至80个40英尺集装箱,已超过今年春节前的出货高峰,”公司执行副总裁胡倇萤说。Qian Hanglu, an analyst at Ningbo Shipping Exchange, said that on the supply side, more than 300,000 twenty-foot equivalent units of container shipping capacity have been stranded in the Gulf due to tensions in the Middle East and disruptions to traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, the resumption of normal shipping through the Red Sea has been delayed, forcing vessels to continue taking longer routes around the region. The decline in vessel turnover has effectively reduced available capacity and added further upward pressure on freight rates, Qian said. “We have also observed that vessel speeds across the container shipping market have been declining. Shipping companies are slowing down, primarily to reduce fuel costs. This will effectively reduce available global shipping capacity,” she added.“我们还观察到,集装箱航运市场的船舶航速正在下降。 Exports from Ningbo's ports to the US totaled more than 290,000 TEUs in May, with cargo value exceeding 36 billion yuan ($5.3 billion), up more than 25 percent year-on-year. 25%。Major export categories included mechanical and electrical products, apparel, textile products and household goods, said Ningbo Customs. freight rate /freɪt reɪt/运价inventory replenishment /ˈɪnvəntri rɪˈplenɪʃmənt/补库存rolled over /rəʊld ˈəʊvə/延至后续航次forty-foot equivalent unit (FEU) /ˈfɔːti fʊt ɪˈkwɪvələnt ˈjuːnɪt/ 40英尺集装箱twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) /ˈtwɛnti fʊt ɪˈkwɪvələnt ˈjuːnɪt/标准箱mechanical and electrical products /məˈkænɪkəl ənd ɪˈlektrɪkəl ˈprɒdʌkts/机电产品apparel /əˈpærəl/服装Ningbo Shipping Exchange /ˈnɪŋbəʊ ˈʃɪpɪŋ ɪksˈtʃeɪndʒ/宁波航运交易所
Tome conta de todas as coisas, Pai. Transforma tudo do Teu jeito. Ajuda-me a nunca criar um ídolo. Rates are climbing, carriers are piling on surcharges, and peak season is arriving ahead of schedule. This week Lars Jensen runs the numbers on why the market is where it is and it has everything to do with the Red Sea and almost nothing to do with how consumers are feeling. In this episode, Lars Jensen and Caroline Weaver cover:Why Pacific and Asia-Europe spot rates continue their upward momentum and what the futures curve is signaling for peak season, including a sharp expected pullback as early as SeptemberThe statistical relationship between US consumer sentiment and container volumes: Lars ran the analysis and the correlation coefficient is 0.3. There effectively isn't one.Hormuz update: no deal, drone strikes on Kuwait, a suspected mine in Omani waters, and an MSC 18,000 TEU vessel that went dark for five days and reappeared off West AfricaHow CMA-CGM continues to quietly expand its Suez routing while every other carrier goes around AfricaChina PMI at exactly 50, and why the raw materials sub-index shooting above 60 post-Hormuz is the inflation signal worth watchingGlobal trade imbalances since 2019: full containers up 17%, fleet up 43%, TEU miles up 41% and empty container movements up 102%
In this episode, we kick things off with a massive compliance crackdown hitting the trucking industry, as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration added twelve electronic logging devices to the revoked list in the largest single-day event since May 2025. All twelve failed to meet minimum technical requirements, bringing the total to seventy-nine devices removed since January 2025 at an aggressive pace of nearly five per month. If you're running any of these devices, you have until July 20th to replace them with a compliant ELD or face citations and out-of-service violations. Over in the ocean shipping sector, we explore how ZIM Integrated Shipping Services posted a net loss of $86 million in the first quarter, a massive reversal from $296 million in net income one year earlier. The Israeli liner, set to be acquired by Germany's Hapag-Lloyd, saw revenues slump 30 percent to $1.4 billion as its average freight rate per TEU crashed 26 percent to just $1,310, reflecting a softer freight rate environment and weaker demand. Finally, we cover the evolving world of fleet technology as Fleetworthy unveiled three major platform enhancements at its Customer Roadshow event in Austin, including a unified cross-platform login, Centralized Vehicle Management, and the debut of the FleetworthyGO mobile app. These upgrades create a single source of truth for vehicle information across Fleetworthy's various products, allowing fleets to manage compliance, toll management, permitting, and weigh station bypass activities from one centralized platform. On this episode of Best of the Bus, Travis Kelce joined The Boys on the bus during Tight End University, and it was epic. Then the interview kicked off with Travis sharing hilarious stories about getting into acting alongside Adam Sandler and how the New Heights podcast has exploded with massive guests. The conversation shifts to leadership, the reality of NFL mortality, and what it takes to become a better teammate as your career evolves. The boys joke about Jason Kelce being the favorite kid in the Kelce household and talk about how uncomfortable being in front of the camera can feel when you’re first starting out. From there, they debate whether the Chiefs got a little lucky during their Super Bowl run and what life after football might actually look like. Travis also shares a classic “Welcome to the NFL” moment involving Clay Matthews and drops the bombshell that Catching Kelce might have been the worst thing he’s ever done. The conversation gets real as he opens up about the viral spotlight around his relationship with Taylor Swift and how TEU has grown into a must-attend event for tight ends across the league. If you missed this one, make sure you give it a listen, and if you already listened, it is worth running it back with one of the biggest stars in the NFL.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
