In this glorious conversation, I talk with two alums of The 2024 Magician's Table - Leah Roberts and Rachel Elliott - on the theme of TMT as a seed-keeping space, rather than a seed-growing space. The conversation was rooted in a discussion with Leah last summer that I hadn't been able to quit thinking about. If you love Moon to Moon, I trust you will adore what comes through in this hour. We discussed: the journey towards embracing one's inner authority and offering one's unique gifts Leah's experience transitioning from compartmentalized authority from when she was a physician to offering a more integrated and holistic approach through her readings, which involve an ecosystem perspective the importance of trust and vulnerability in the de-compartmentalization process the importance of self-love and acceptance in the context of personal growth seed-keeping as a metaphor for storing and preserving memory of both challenge and support seeds - not as a means for an end - but as a complete and whole memory "TMT can be a seed that you're keeping as a memory of what it means to be witnessed” TMT as a “hall of mirrors” Rachel's experience with growing seeds during her time in TMT, which didn't go as planned, and how she interprets this as a symbol of how focusing on personal growth and self-confidence (the "sun") can lead to unexpected developments and deep-rooted changes (the "red roots") in one's life. the concept of co-creation and the importance of surrendering expectations in a magical ecosystem TMT as the alchemy of the ecosystem, where individual expectations are transformed into something greater than the sum of its parts the concept of personal magic and participating in a community of mostly strangers following one's spark and being open to the experience +++ Leah Roberts (she/they) is an Aquarian-identified intuitive, careworker, grief tender and retired physician rooted in the healing capacity of relational exchange and embodied connection with other humans, our more-than-human kin and the Unseen. Leah is devoted to befriending and tending to grief as a potent invitation towards aliveness, loving compassion and collective liberation. Drawing upon a deep well of life experience, years of holding space professionally and leaning into the lineages of Western community herbalism and politicised somatics (among others), Leah uses a broad skillset to toggle between companion and guide so that clients may feel held, seen and supported. Among their many teachers, Leah credits plants and trees who model easeful reciprocity with the gift of their breath and whales who embody the ancestral wisdom of movement and wayfinding in deep waters. Located on the homelands of Cheyenne, Ute and Arapaho Peoples in what is now known as Colorado, Leah is excited to connect by email for individual work or group facilitation inquiries at leah.fox.roberts@gmail.com +++ Rachel is an intuitive guide who weaves dream interpretation, astrology, energy healing, and psychism to support others in the present moment. Through her deep relationships with angels and guides, she brings forth messages of encouragement and insight. Metaphysical principles shape her interpretations, allowing her to illuminate patterns, possibilities, and deeper truths. By pulling on the threads of connection, Rachel creates space for curiosity, discovery, and transformation, helping others access the wisdom already within them. She believes these practices are not just personal but communal—meant to be experienced in fellowship, enriching both individual and collective growth. Leah Roberts, a 23-year-old from North Carolina, disappeared in March 2000 after abruptly leaving home on a cross-country road trip inspired by Jack Kerouac's "The Dharma Bums." Following a series of personal tragedies, including the death of her mother and a near-fatal car accident, Leah set out on a journey seeking deeper meaning. Her white Jeep Cherokee was found abandoned in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington, with no sign of Leah and only scattered personal belongings, sparking widespread speculation and numerous theories about her fate, from voluntary disappearance to foul play or a mental health crisis. Despite extensive searches, renewed investigations, and national attention, Leah's fate remains an unsolved mystery, leaving her family and the public searching for answers to this day.In June 1972, five-year-old Adrien McNaughton disappeared without a trace during a family fishing trip at Holmes Lake, Ontario, sparking one of Canada's largest manhunts. Despite extensive search efforts involving hundreds of volunteers, police, and military personnel, no evidence of Adrien was ever found. Over the years, various theories emerged, including that he got lost in the wilderness or was abducted, but no definitive answers surfaced. The case was revisited in 2016 through the popular podcast Someone Knows Something, which reignited public interest but still provided no resolution. In 2019, remains found near the lake were initially suspected to be Adrien's, but tests ruled them out. To this day, Adrien McNaughton's disappearance remains one of Canada's most haunting unsolved mysteries, leaving his family and the nation with more questions than answers.(commercial at 7:47)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Leah Roberts was five foot, three inches with short dark hair and a beauty mark above the right side of her lips. Leah's life took a pretty standard path, starting with a happy childhood in Durham, North Carolina where she lived with her parents and two older siblings, sister Kara and brother Heath, until she began attending college at North Carolina State University in nearby Raleigh. Because of unexpected events and tragedies, Leah would change direction in her early 20's and begin a journey of self exploration that would take her on an impromptu road trip. On March 9th, 2000, Leah Roberts left her Durham, North Carolina and began driving West. Nine days later, her white Jeep Cherokee was found wrecked and abandoned at the base of the Cascade Mountains, 80 miles north of Seattle, Washington. Leah was not inside the Jeep, and to this day she still has not been found, but a later examination of the vehicle would show the engine had been tampered with and maybe someone had targeted Leah Roberts as she was out in the world, trying to find herself. Leah Roberts seemingly took off on a spontaneous cross-country trip to see the beautiful mountains in Washington that her favorite author, Jack Kerouac, had once described. She had been through several tragedies and was living her “second chance” at life, but 9 days after she left her home in North Carolina, her car was found crashed and abandoned. And Leah has never been seen since. Leah Roberts is currently classified as endangered missing. At the time of her disappearance, she had blonde hair and blue eyes and was about 5'6” and 130lbs. She has a surgical scar on her right hip and a metal rod in her leg. She has pierced ears and dimples. She would be 47 years old today. "While I am gone, remember – everyone is together in thoughts and prayers and time passes quickly. Have faith in me, yourself, everyone." That was just part of a cryptic note that 23-year-old Leah Roberts left her roommate before she packed up and headed out on a journey of self-discovery. On March 9, 2000, Leah set off from her home in Raleigh, North Carolina, and headed west, following in the footsteps of her literary hero, Jack Kerouac. The idea of a spontaneous trip fit in with Leah's adventurous spirit, so no one was initially concerned, despite the fact that she hadn't mentioned the trip to anyone. But as days passed without word, Leah's family reported her missing. Five days later, her sister Kara got a shocking message: Leah's Jeep Cherokee had been found wrecked at the bottom of a ravine in Whatcom County, Washington. All of Leah's belongings were found at the accident scene, but Leah was nowhere to be found. Stories:1) Cindy Song, a South Korean woman who moved to Virginia in 1995 for education, vanished on Halloween night in 2001. After attending a costume party with friends, she was dropped off at her apartment, but she never reappeared. Her friends reported her missing when she failed to contact anyone, but her personal belongings were left behind, except for her keys and purse. Authorities believe she may have been abducted on her way to a nearby supermarket or left with someone she knew and was killed. Despite a witness sighting in Philadelphia's Chinatown and confessions by Hugo Selenski, her body has never been found, leaving her disappearance a haunting mystery.2) In March 2000, Leah Roberts vanished after leaving her North Carolina home abruptly. Her wrecked vehicle, a white 1993 Jeep Cherokee, was found near Mount Baker Highway in Washington, leading to a perplexing mystery. Leah had faced personal tragedies, including the deaths of her parents, and embraced a free-spirited lifestyle. A witness reported seeing her at a mall restaurant with a man known as "Barry." Her bank account records indicated she was traveling towards Washington. In 2006, reexamination of her Jeep revealed signs of tampering, raising suspicions of a deliberate crash. Leah's disappearance remains unresolved, leaving questions about her whereabouts and the enigmatic "Barry."Contact us at: weeknightmysteries@gmail.comYou can also follow us on our social media accounts:✔️ Instagram ➤ https://www.instagram.com/weeknightmysteries✔️ Twitter ➤ https://twitter.com/wnmysteries✔️ Facebook ➤ https://www.facebook.com/weeknightmysteries/✔️ Website ➤ https://weeknightmysteries.buzzsprout.com

Both hailing from small towns in central Kansas, Jesse and Leah Roberts began writing, recording, and performing together after their marriage in 2013. What began as a duo, weaving together a patchwork of melodies atop an upright bass and a guitar, has since blossomed into numerous, multi-faceted expressions of music, art, and ministry. Though they still often perform classic covers and simple tunes in simple places, they've been blessed to develop a vibrant musical ministry - ranging from full band, heavy mood moments like that in The Golgotha Experience, to the string and vocal laden scores of Firstborn. Their most recent project was their most ambitious yet. EveryPsalm began January 1, 2020, and ended November 9th, 2022, releasing a psalm-based song each week… until every psalm was sung again.
This week we talk about the unsolved Leah Roberts case. A free spirit woman who suddenly disappeared to go on a self-exploration journey in nature, but tragically disappeared with no answers.

Hot, and we mean, HOT off the race course in Kona, we have a recap of the women's race from two amazing athletes, Veronique Granger, a Zoot athlete and Leah Roberts, a teammate on IRLAG with us, and also a good friend. We recorded this the day after their race and the day before the men's race, while sitting overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This year was the first year that Kona was two days: the women and a few groups of men on Thursday and the pro men and the rest of the men on Saturday. For Leah, this was her fourth Kona and for Veronique, this was her first, so it was interesting to see the similarities and differences in their experiences leading up to this race and at the race. Racing in Kona truly is like nothing else- from the challenging conditions to the crowds to the unbelievable talent on the race course. We know you will enjoy this recap..it's been a long three years since we have had a World Championship in Hawaii! Have a listen!

Preparing for Lent: The Journey – Day 3 of 3 INTRODUCTION -- Preparing for Lent: The Journey, Day-3 includes: The Anglican Youth Fellowship Choir, from Kampala Diocese, Uganda and led by Group Manager Andrew Lumbuye, performs “Come Lord Jesus” Archbishop Miguel Uchoa, Archbishop of the Anglican Church in Brazil and an Anglican Primate, reflects on Lent and the Church's mission All Saints Cathedral Worship Team from, All Saints Cathedral Nairobi Kenya performs, the song “KWAKE YESU {On Christ the Solid Rock}” Jesse and Leah Roberts, of Poor Bishop Hooper -- American writers, and performers of many Christian faith-based songs (including the albums and music collections First Born, Every Psalm, and The Golgotha Experience), reflect on Lenten music and share a special song – “Jesus Walked this Lonesome Valley” MESSAGE SUMMARY: On Wednesday, March 2, many Anglicans, along with many other denominations and churches around the world, began their observance of the Christian season of Lent with their Ash Wednesday services. Beginning today and the two days following, A Word from the Lord is providing three videos, through Gafcon Global Anglicans, with the hope that they will help you to continue to prepare your hearts and minds as you walk with Jesus in your journey this Lenten season. Gafcon's videos have included people, songs, cultures, and images from around the World so that you can be encouraged and equipped to consider your own mortality within the context of God's Grace of Eternal Life given to us through Jesus' suffering and death on the cross and His Resurrection on Easter at the end of Lent. There is a broad range of practices that Anglicans and other denominations and churches follow during the Lenten season. In an age of increasing instant gratification, the practice of Lent, leading up to Easter, runs against the tide in many cultures. With these three-days of videos from Anglicans round the World, we see the Anglican diversity in the practice of Lent from many cultures, languages, and races. What is Lent about and what are some songs of worship which can, as Reverend Canon Wes Jagoe says, "...help us slow down and focus on our relationship with the Lord"? Also, Rev. Jodie McNeil of Australia, shares, "I've started to see that it is good to synchronize my calendar with Christian brothers and sisters from all tribes, tongues, and nations because everyone needs to choose a calendar to follow...but as we live as foreigners and exiles, it seems like a good thing for Christians to celebrate together the rhythm of our church calendar." Andrew Lumbuye of Uganda, discusses his Lenten perspective and how it provides him a context for selecting songs for Lent, “Lent is a period of soul searching, reconnecting of getting back to the Lord . . . the songs that I have chosen are those that help us to empty ourselves; that help us cry out ourselves to the Lord . . .” Archbishop Miguel Uchoa of Brazil discusses the Church's mission for lent within the Gospel of John, “Lent is the time of reflection and nothing better to reflect on than the mission of the Church . . . when they {the Apostles Andrew, John, and Peter} learn about Jesus and who Jesus was, they want to spend time with Him – learn from Him. That must be our objective.” TODAY'S PRAYER: Lord, help me to grab hold of you today. I need you. Set me free to begin reorienting my life around you, and you alone. Help me to pay attention to and honor how you have uniquely made me. Thank you for the gift of rest. In Jesus' name, amen. Scazzero, Peter. Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day (p. 122). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. TODAY'S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will proclaim Him. (Philippians 1:15f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14). SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): John 1:6-18; John 1:6-18,23-28; John 1:29-34; John 1:35-42. A WORD FROM THE LORD WEBSITE: www.AWFTL.org. In this “Behind the Song” episode of the TGC Podcast, Brett McCracken interviews Poor Bishop Hooper—Jesse and Leah Roberts—about their EveryPsalm project, which releases a new song each week, one for each Psalm. An already ambitious 3-year project became even more so when, only a few months after launch, the world was shaken by a global pandemic. But the sovereign timing of the project unexpectedly worked for good, creating a hymnal of hope and comfort for listeners in a world that seemed to be falling apart. In the interview, the duo addresses the origins of their project and what it takes for a married couple with young children to continually muster the creative energy to create for this ongoing work of art for the church.
(part 2/2) In this two part series Robin & I will discuss the case of Leah Roberts (Which he has covered previously on the TWC) with Julie Murray and we will explore the parallels at length to Julie's missing sister Maura Murray. March 18, 2000. Whatcom County, Washington. A damaged Jeep belonging to 23-year old Leah Roberts is found at the bottom of an embankment next to a remote highway. Nine days earlier, Leah had left her home in North Carolina to take a cross-country road trip, but even though all of her personal possessions are left behind at the accident scene, Leah herself is missing. The investigation eventually uncovers evidence to suggest that the accident might have been staged and the Jeep was unoccupied when it went down the embankment. Further complications are also caused by strange anonymous phone call, as well as a reported eyewitness sighting of Leah with an unidentified man at a shopping mall restaurant. Was Leah Roberts actually inside her vehicle when it crashed or did she fall victim to an unknown third party? Leah is an educational consultant who helps parents of special needs children work with their child's school to secure support services. She helps parents understand the steps to get evaluations, 504s, IEPs. She teaches parents to effectively advocate for their children. Leah has been a teacher, a reading specialist, and a special education teacher. After taking time to be a stay-at-home mom, she returned to education and oversaw IEP programs within schools. Leah Roberts es una joven estadounidense que desapareció en la autopista Mount Baker, del condado de Whatcom, en el estado de Washington.Hoy contaremos la historia.
We all need God’s word, and we need it desperately––this is why Jesse and Leah Roberts embarked on EveryPsalm. Jesse and Leah are parents, pastors, and musicians living in Kansas City, MO. They began their EveryPsalm project on January 1, 2020, after years of talking about the idea. They explain, “EveryPsalm is a three-year long musical journey consisting of simple, meditative songs based on the psalms. Starting with Psalm 1 and ending at Psalm 150.” Each song is based on a psalm, and almost all of their lyrics are taken word-for-word from the Bible. Their goal with this project is to help their listeners interact with Scripture in new ways and to make God’s Word applicable to any circumstances people might face. In this episode, Jesse and Leah talk with Dru Johnson about their project thus far (they're up to Psalm 75) and their goals for the rest of the songs to come. They discuss the songwriting process and how putting Scripture to music aids memorization and deeper engagement. You can check out their Youtube channel to listen to every song of the EveryPsalm project along with their other free music. You can also check out their website for more information and to subscribe to their weekly song release. Show notes: 0:00 How Jesse and Leah use the Psalms to write songs 6:39 How they pick their tone for each piece 10:02 What they’ve learned about the Psalms as they’ve worked through them 11:40 The role of lament 16:07 How they safely interpret each Psalm 22:10 Putting words to music 26:50 How they avoid “telling others how to feel" Show notes by Serena Tuomi. Preparing for Lent: The Journey – Day 3 of 3 INTRODUCTION -- Preparing for Lent: The Journey, Day-3 includes: The Anglican Youth Fellowship Choir, from Kampala Diocese, Uganda and led by Group Manager Andrew Lumbuye, performs “Come Lord Jesus” Archbishop Miguel Uchoa, Archbishop of the Anglican Church in Brazil and an Anglican Primate, reflects on Lent and the Church’s mission All Saints Cathedral Worship Team from, All Saints Cathedral Nairobi Kenya performs, the song “KWAKE YESU {On Christ the Solid Rock}” Jesse and Leah Roberts, of Poor Bishop Hooper -- American writers, and performers of many Christian faith-based songs (including the albums and music collections First Born, Every Psalm, and The Golgotha Experience), reflect on Lenten music and share a special song – “Jesus Walked this Lonesome Valley” MESSAGE SUMMARY: On Wednesday, February 17, many Anglicans, along with many other denominations and churches around the world, began their observance of the Christian season of Lent with their Ash Wednesday services. Beginning today and the two days following, A Word from the Lord is providing three videos, through Gafcon Global Anglicans, with the hope that they will help you to continue to prepare your hearts and minds as you walk with Jesus in your journey this Lenten season. Gafcon’s videos have included people, songs, cultures, and images from around the World so that you can be encouraged and equipped to consider your own mortality within the context of God’s Grace of Eternal Life given to us through Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross and His Resurrection on Easter at the end of Lent. Also, Rev. Jodie McNeil of Australia, shares, "I've started to see that it is good to synchronize my calendar with Christian brothers and sisters from all tribes, tongues, and nations because everyone needs to choose a calendar to follow...but as we live as foreigners and exiles, it seems like a good thing for Christians to celebrate together the rhythm of our church calendar." Andrew Lumbuye of Uganda, discusses his Lenten perspective and how it provides him a context for selecting songs for Lent, “Lent is a period of soul searching, reconnecting of getting back to the Lord . . . the songs that I have chosen are those that help us to empty ourselves; that help us cry out ourselves to the Lord . . .” Archbishop Miguel Uchoa of Brazil discusses the Church’s mission for lent within the Gospel of John, “Lent is the time of reflection and nothing better to reflect on than the mission of the Church . . . when they {the Apostles Andrew, John, and Peter} learn about Jesus and who Jesus was, they want to spend time with Him – learn from Him. That must be our objective.” TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, I affirm that, because I am in Jesus Christ, I will proclaim Him. (Philippians 1:15f). “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”. (Philippians 4:14). SCRIPTURE REFERENCE (ESV): John 1:6-18; John 1:6-18,23-28; John 1:29-34; John 1:35-42. Leah Roberts has been missing for over 20 years now and still, now clues have surfaced that have resulted in finding her, she just vanished. Sources:wikipedia.comthetruecrimefiles.com

Next we investigate the case of Bryan Nisenfeld. A shy young adult who didn't fare too well in his first few semesters at college. This week, Erica and Billy were in a pinch. Between mace and ill-behaved children at Walmart and holes cut into walls and internet issues, things just didn't work out when they were supposed to record with Kate, from the Ignorance Was Bliss podcast. Twenty-Three year old Leah Roberts had lived a difficult life and suffered multiple tragedies. By the time she was twenty-two she had lost both of her parents and been involved in a near fatal car accident. Desperate for a way to deal with her grief, and in order to find herself and her true dreams, she embarked on a secret trip. On March 9th, 2000, she left her home in North Carolina, heading for Desolation Peak in Washington state. She was on the trail of her favorite author, Jack Kerouac, and though she had two older siblings and a close knit group of friends, she chose to tell no one. Her sister, Kara, reported her missing on Monday, March 13th, and five days later received startling news. Leah's white jeep cherokee had been found in Whatcom County, WA. It was at the bottom of an embankment, smashed up and abandoned. Worse yet, there were no signs of Leah anywhere. A massive search was conducted, and an investigation launched but Leah was never found nor was any trace of her, outside of her jeep. Over the next seventeen years, Police would continue to be baffled and perplexed by this incredibly unusual disappearance. Did Leah Roberts choose to run off in hopes of starting a new life? Was she overcome by her grief and made the desperate choice to end her life? Was Leah severely injured in the crash and died somewhere in the wilds of the Washington wilderness? Or, was Leah a victim of foul play and not even present when her jeep went rolling over a cliff? Join host Steven Pacheco as he examines and attempts to unravel the curious details and mystifying riddles of this mind boggling disappearance.
