Not sure if that makes any difference in regards to oils etc. Thanks lady-boys. Question from Jeremy from Nebraska Jeremy from Nebraska. Episode 104 was a fun one. We were joined by our friend Rob from @madsciencetactical and kicked things off with some New Business, catching up on what everyone has been shooting, testing, building, and messing with lately. Darius gives his thoughts after getting more time behind his M&P with the Dimebag porting and, maybe even more importantly, his Staccato is finally back. Josh talks about testing Staccato remanufactured ammo, a simple but awesome 3D-printed paster dispenser, and the TandemKross Manticore X lower receiver. Rob jumps in with some of what he has been working with too, including Spec Mud lube and his experiences with new pistols from Tisas and BUL Armory. Of course, Episode 104 was also the night of our big MacBroz giveaway. Huge thanks to @welikeshooting, @madsciencetactical, @otistechnology, and @osightworld for helping us put together some awesome prizes, and congratulations to @amazingjsports on the win! GAW Text Dear WLS or Reviews +1 743 500 2171 Public Show Titles GOA GOALS Aug 1-2 in Iowa. https://goals.goa.org/ Dear WLS Question from Mitch C What is the cast's opinion on the most minimalist gun to carry and method of carry? I don't usually carry my Sig P365 on me because of work and the movements I do. It's not because of any gay ass work place policy, I'm just a bitch I guess. But I do want to carry more and the Bodyguard 2.0 caught my attention for either pocket carry or just the tiniest gun and holster that isn't too intrusive to me rolling on the ground, climbing ladders, or other manual labor that's currently keeping me from carrying my 365. What's the smallest you would go? .25 ACP? Life card (JK LOL)? I know none of those options are as good as 9 but I'm thinking something is better than hopes and prayers if I need it. Question from Two Right Bear Arms Have you had a chance to run a magnifier optic behind a Mediator XL? Is Gideon making a magnifier for it already? Do you even like magnifier optics? #Gideonverse no notes Question from Tony D I'd like to use the under-bed storage in my RV to stash some firearms, ammo, and gear are there any good products for organizing that kind of space out would I be better off building something custom? Question from Nick B Looking to build a trash panda from the gatalog and was wondering if there would be any issues going 338 arc suppressed since it wasn't originally designed for it. Any suggestion on spec comparisons I should be looking at to see if I can go this route? Thanks Question from Spank Me Jeremy I recently got a new pistol. I plan to put niightfision sights on it. My question is should I get the normal sight height or get the red dot height in case I put an optic on it? Does having the optic height one mess with how you shoot if you don't have an optic on the pistol? Question from AinYourFace A couple of episodes ago, probably 20 by the time this gets read, Shawn dropped the “when I used to work at Dragon Man.” How have I not heard about this before. I have never been there but it seems like a crazy place and some big personalities. How about a short, non-hunting story, rundown of what is was like working there? #SSB Gun Industry News Tokarev TT-12 PRO 12GA Semi-Auto Shotgun The Tokarev TT-12 PRO is a 2025 AR/M4-style 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun featuring fully ambidextrous controls, modular aluminum receiver with M-LOK handguard and Picatinny rails, reversible charging handle, Cerakote finish, and compatibility with MKA/T-Trident9 magazines. On MacBroz Show Episode 90, Josh and Darius ask the hard-hitting questions: why did everyone hate Matt Damon in Saving Private Ryan, what did Darius order from Tier 1 Concealed, and is Staccato still the benchmark when people talk about 2011s? Then things get even better when @fullmetal_sensei crashes the episode with an arsenal of 2011s and joins the conversation on what separates hype, quality, performance, and the bigger 2011 ecosystem. All this and more on another fun episode of the MacBroz Show.
Welcome to Episode 88 of the MacBroz Show. This week, Josh shares his thoughts on some fresh gear, including the M&P 2.0 Metal HD (Steel), the Canik TTI Combat Smoke, the Holosun 407 Comp, and more. We also dive into one of the biggest debates in the gun world right now: are Staccato 2011s truly worth the money, or are they overpriced hype? But this conversation goes beyond just price. We get into the difference between buying a double-stack 1911-style gun that feels 2011-ish versus investing in a platform and ecosystem that Staccato continues to build, support, and grow. From brand reputation and aftermarket support to long-term confidence in the platform, we talk about what shooters are really paying for and whether that added value matters. As always, we mix in some fun with a wild fact about the Caesar salad being invented in Mexico, remind everyone to grab tickets to @guncon and save with code JW5, and wrap it all up with listener Q&A. All that and more on Episode 88 of the MacBroz Show.

This week we're asking a BIG question… Are Josh and Darius DONE with their Staccatos? Are we actually thinking about switching back to M&P platforms? And how long does it really take to find “the right one” when it comes to gear and setups? We also dive into the reality of chasing the perfect pistol, how preferences evolve over time, and whether training matters more than platform loyalty. Plus — Josh got hands on the new @gideonoptics Mediator XL, and let's just say… this optic is HUGE

GOING BALLISTIC Maryland House Judiciary Committee to Hear HB 874 Handgun Ban Bill The Maryland House Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear House Bill 874 on February 12, 2025, which seeks to ban the manufacture, sale, and possession of certain semiautomatic handguns classified as ‘assault pistols.' The bill targets specific models like the Beretta 92X Performance, CZ P-10C, Glock 19, Sig Sauer P320, and Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0, among others listed in proposed Criminal Law Article § 4-302. NRA-ILA urges opposition to the bill, viewing it as an infringement on Second Amendment rights. California AG Sues Gatalog Over 3D-Printed Gun CAD Files Distribution California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a lawsuit against Gatalog LLC and its operator, Len Patterson, for allegedly distributing CAD files for 3D-printing unserialized firearms, violating state ghost gun laws. The suit claims Gatalog's website enabled the production of undetectable and untraceable guns by providing over 644 firearm designs. It seeks to halt the distribution and impose civil penalties under California's assault weapons and unsafe handgun laws. New Mexico House Bill 82: Democrats Advance Broadest Gun Ban in US New Mexico House Democrats are poised to pass House Bill 82 this week, which would ban dozens of semi-automatic firearms including AR-15s, AK-47s, and many handguns. The bill targets firearms with detachable magazines and specific features like pistol grips or folding stocks. It has advanced through committee and is scheduled for a House floor vote. Gun Owners of America Action Alert: Oppose S. 407 Anti-Gun Bill (February 3, 2026) Gun Owners of America urges members to contact Senators to oppose S. 407, a bill introduced by Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) that would ban commonly owned semi-automatic firearms, including AR-15s and similar rifles. The legislation targets firearms with pistol grips, folding stocks, and other standard features, classifying them as ‘assault weapons.' It also bans magazines over 10 rounds and imposes restrictions on private transfers. Ammoland Article: Committed Gun Grabbers Claim to Support the Second Amendment (February 2026) The article criticizes politicians and groups labeled as ‘gun grabbers' who publicly claim support for the Second Amendment while advocating restrictive gun control measures. It highlights inconsistencies in their rhetoric and actions, portraying them as undermining constitutional rights. Examples include statements from figures like Joe Biden and organizations such as Everytown for Gun Safety. DOJ Amicus Brief in Support of Challenge to Massachusetts Handgun Roster (Savage) The U.S. Department of Justice filed an amicus curiae brief in a federal lawsuit challenging Massachusetts' handgun roster law, arguing that the Attorney General's authority to ban handguns lacking arbitrary safety features violates the Second Amendment. The brief, submitted in the case Reese v. Department of Revenue, contends that the roster effectively prohibits most modern handguns by imposing subjective loaded chamber indicator and magazine disconnect requirements not justified by public safety data. It cites post-Bruen precedents to assert that Massachusetts' scheme fails constitutional scrutiny. Oregon Democrats Propose Two-Year Delay for Permit-to-Purchase Law (HB 2005) (Savage) Oregon Democrats are advancing a proposal to delay the implementation of the state's new permit-to-purchase handgun law, HB 2005, from its original August 2026 start date to August 2028. The delay addresses concerns over the Oregon State Police's readiness to process the required background checks and issue permits. This comes amid ongoing legal challenges to the law, which mandates a safety course, background check, and references for handgun purchases. New Mexico House Bill 129 – Proposed Broadest Gun Ban in US (Savage) New Mexico Democrats are advancing House Bill 129, which would ban a wide array of semi-automatic firearms including AR-15s, AK-47s, and many handguns.

Episode 445 Brought to you by: C&G Holsters Medical Gear Outfitters Die Free Co. Blue Alpha Bowers Group Swampfox Optics Text Dear WLS or Reviews +1 743 500 2171 Dear WLS Question from Micah Oxard ♻️ Any updates with potential holster sponsorships? Jeremy's still a cunt. Happy holidays. Question from Drew Peabauls ♻️ I'm planning to purchase a Mitchell defense 10.3” DOC for a home defense rifle. Considering the potential indoor use case, I want to run a dedicated suppressor. What recommendations do you have for the quietest can with low back pressure? No price limitations. Question from Brassguy Jarhead ♻️ "Do ya have any experience with Right to Bear Arms builder sets? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm going to build a 204 Ruger and was going to use an Aero Precision builder set but apparently they quit doing those. Thanks for the input. No notes. PS. Jeremy is a cunt" Question from Karl F ♻️ Hey guys! I live in Virginia and that isn't going to change anytime soon due to proximity to family. Unfortunately, after recent elections, we are almost guaranteed to be facing an assault weapons ban along with a myriad of other gun control next year. I'm currently stocking up in hopes of a grandfather clause. I have plenty of AR15 components; however, I don't have any piston guns. Any suggestions for something I should consider picking up before I can't anymore? I'm not interested in an AK, and I would like to stick to either 556, 300 Blackout, or 6.5 creedmore. I'm leaning towards a 16"" barrel but am open to others. My first thought was a BRN-4 from Brownells but they appear to be all out of stock at the moment. Any input is appreciated. Keep up the great show. #blamecanada Question from Harry Pickle ♻️ Is it just me or is it the older I get (im 29) the more I appreciate the bush on a woman. Do yall appreciate the bush? I'm all for bringing back the 70s hair and 70s bush, and I'm not talking about no landing strip I'm talking about ZZ Top eating a beef and cheddar Question from Nightwasher513 TX ♻️ Thank you for trying to answer my question on episode 435. It was about making a pistol brace for your 3d printed firearms. My follow up question is. What is the likelihood that any of the 3d printed pistols with a pistol brace, would have gotten a letter from the ATF. Case in point, the MacDaddy MAC 11 has a pistol brace designed on it. So then since that designer most likely has not gotten a letter from the ATF, does that mean the 1000s of people that have printed it and installed it are breaking the law? That being said, is there any negative effects on submitting a brace design to the ATF. I carry every day with my DB Alloy MAC 11 in my backpack? And last follow up question. If a steel plate at had a serial number engraved on it to ATF specs that then was inserted into the printed frame during the printing process and could not be removed without destroying the print be in compliance with the ATF rules? I really hope you read this question before Aaron gets back. #NOAARON. Question from Duzzit Fittenmy ♻️ Camorado is Rad. When are we going to get line of flannel shirts? I think each WLS cast member should come up with their own flannel pattern and color scheme. Question from Mitch C ♻️ Which 9mm revolver would you guys get if you wanted to dip your toes in the revolver classes of your local matches? Red dot and holster compatible. Or would you just not be a poor, broke ass bitch and shoot .38? Shot timers don't lie—and if you're not using one, you're probably guessing. In this episode of the MacBroz Podcast, we break down why shot timers are a must for real performance tracking, what happens when Staccato + sand collide, and why grip control matters more than most shooters realize. We also talk about locking in your grip with Mad Science Tactical and wrap it up with what we want to see (and don't want to see) at SHOT Show. This episode is all about real training, real-world gear lessons, and honest conversations—no hype, no fluff.
Hour 1 - A tumultuous Tuesday and as your heart keeps pounding a rhythm to your brain, Jacob & Tejay come in like nitric oxide. In this segment the talk with the voice of the Wildcats Wyatt Thompson.
The best shooting you'll ever see on a body‑worn camera looks deceptively calm. That kind of control doesn't come from “stand still and pass the qual” culture—it comes from practical training that blends speed, accuracy, and judgment under stress. We sit down with Chris Palmer—retired Phoenix PD SWAT operator, academy firearms lead, and now part of Staccato's training group—to unpack how departments can move from checkbox drills to performance that holds up on the street and in court.Chris takes us inside SWAT selection, life on a full‑time team, and the lessons that reshaped his teaching: most shootings involve movement before shots; everything is fast until officers regain control; and confidence is a community safety feature. We dig into the myths around “slow is smooth,” why time doesn't create accuracy, and how training officers to recognize an acceptable sight picture at speed pays off when reality spikes. We also cover red dots on pistols—the index problem, faster learning for recruits, and why dots are a clarity tool rather than a crutch.Policy matters just as much as practice. Chris explains de‑escalation as an outcome, not a script; time‑distance‑cover as levers, not excuses; and duty‑to‑intervene language that sets clear expectations without assuming omniscience. Supervisors can use BWC to coach case law, handcuffing, and decision‑making before small misses become big headlines. And yes, we talk Staccato: what the HD platform changes, how a better trigger and design lower friction for learning, and why the company is investing heavily in open, modern law‑enforcement training rather than hype.If you care about safer officers, stronger communities, and shootings that withstand both review boards and public scrutiny, this conversation is your blueprint. Listen, share it with your training unit, and tell us: what's the first upgrade your agency needs—movement reps, red dots, or supervisory follow‑through? Episode 69 is here—and yes, we laughed about it.This week the MacBroz go deep on an unexpected topic: the power of real bee honey and why it's become a staple in our daily grind. We also break down our latest match at the US Concealed Carry League—what we learned, what humbled us, and why competition shooting is about growth, pressure, and mindset… not just trophies and glory. Darius (@deeezgains) shows off his custom Staccato 2011 built by @monsoon_tactical and @_art_illery, and we both spent time with some very interesting pews, including the Kimber 2K11. Another episode packed with laughs, lessons, and legendary firearms. Double Tap Episode 436 This episode of Double Tap is brought to you by: Midwest Industries, Gideon Optics, Medical Gear Outfitters, Blue Alpha, and Die Free Co. Welcome to Double Tap, episode 436! Your hosts tonight are Jeremy Pozderac, Aaron Krieger, Nick Lynch, and me Shawn Herrin, welcome to the show! - Dear WLS Dragon Arcadia - In WLS Episode 617, Dungeon Daddies, at 38 min 41 sec on Rumble, Aaron begins talking about how much he hated the steel-frame Canik because it was too heavy. “It literally weighed over 10.17 pounds.” Shawn says that it weighs just under 3 pounds, so about the same as a 2011. Aaron says there's no way, and he's going to look up the weights to prove himself right. Shawn moves on and says they'll get back to that after Aaron looks it up, but it never gets brought up again. I have an unrelated question for Aaron. How much does a steel-frame Canik weigh compared to a Staccato? Thanks guys! P.S. While looking through Rumble to find the episode, I kept getting ads for the ROTO 12 Compact Shotgun. Please look it up; I really want to see your reactions to this thing. Shane H - I am a 07/02 FFL - Aero Precision used to be my go-to place for budget friendly parts with good quality. However, over the past year they have been impossible to deal with. They have made some changes and it's like I have to beg them to take my money. They also never answer emails or calls... Who would you recommend for AR-15 parts? Mainly looking for Uppers, Lowers, and Handguards... Thanks in advance Ray G - What's up bitches. What are your opinions on the Foxtrot Mike “Mike 45”? I have a Mat9 currently for a PCC and I love it! So I figured if I have a 9mm I better get a 45 so it has a friend. I know they are currently out of stock at the time of writing this but wanted to get a feel on what you guys thought. If you suggested the Mike45, what barrel length? Suppressor? Or I should go a different route totally. Thanks for answering my question. P.S. Fuck Aaron Duran84 - I want to get into thermals, My budget is 2k. I have a Rix tourer night vision that sparked my interest in night hunting. My only complaint is scanning with the optic on the gun is tiresome. Should I get a monocular or a scope, so it could be dual purpose with a QD mount? What are some recommendations that the crew has thanks. Standard Arms - Show is great. Thank you for serving our community. I am small kitchen table FFL. It's been a great ride, with a healthy dose of fear! I am thinking about a laser engraver. I would want to it to be capable of properly marking firearms if I need to. ( the ATF spec of .003 inch depth I believe). If I'm investing in a laser engraver I'd use it to put my logo on stuff like magazines, key chains etc. This would probably be something that I would look at in a year and wonder why the F did I buy this thing. That being said I'd really like to spend as little as possible. Thanks. Zac C - A- Aron, My gun shop shouldn't charge for transfers Shawn, Aaron, your being retardedAlso Shawn, This company that came up with a great idea to put airline policies on a QR code and sell them for $30 should do it for free cause it's a sErViCe tO ThE CoMmunITy That is all. ARDREW479 Your Mom - Let's talk about pistol recoil springs and how they impact reliability. I recently added a Radian Afterburner + Ramjet to my Glock 19X and also swapped in the Radian Compressor adjustable guide rod. The Compressor includes 13, 15, and 18lbs springs. I started with the 18lbs spring and it functions properly with both 115 and 124s. Would swapping to the lighter weight spring provide any value? Is it better to stick with the heavy spring? Thoughts? Dependable Don - I was relistening to crawler Carl and heard the ai mention hucow fiction. I looked it up and I'm scared. What are your opinions on hucow? The winner of this week's swag pack is Ray G!
