Sandra Herrera and Lisa Roman recap the inaugural Arnold Clark Cup. The tournament coming down to not just the final matchday but the final match between England and Germany. Canada entered the final matchday in first place after tying England and defeating Germany. The reigning Gold medalists looked to clinch the first-ever Arnold Clark Trophy over Spain but Alexias Puttelas notched a first-half goal for the Spanish side. In the second match, England vs Germany, saw two teams tied at 1 apiece heading into halftime (16:46). But a late second-half tactical adjustment from England and some crafty moves by Lauren Hemp, Fran Kirby and Millie Bright saw the Lionesses defeat Germany 3-1 and win the inaugural Arnold Clark Cup. It wasn't pretty, but the (correct shade of) Blues got the result and the point needed to remain two points ahead at the top of the table! We break down two contrasting halves that saw Chelsea go into half with the lead via some excellent work by Sam Kerr then hold on for dear life in the second! This week on Monday Mile, i'm heading to Surrey to meet one of the best defensive players in the women's game. Recently ranked in the Fifa World 11, she's been a Chelsea player for 7 years, and a vital member of the Lionesses. Humble, hard working, and an inspiration to young females and males alike in football. Yes, it's Millie Bright, she's invited us on a dog walk and I can't wait to meet her pups. Former Team GB double winter Olympian Aimee Fuller is on a mission to find the secrets for Monday motivation from some of the most successful sports men and women of our time and other well-known celebrities which will drop every week.  Aimee will be probing for answers from the full spectrum of routines; the early birds who have finely tuned Monday mornings, to the late risers who struggle to get up before 11am. How do elite athletes find the motivation to kick start their week come rain or shine? How do celebrities deliver no matter what the time of day? What knowledge can they pass on?'  Each episode will drop on a Monday morning and plays out in real time. Aimee will meet each of her guests for a walk and a chat and over the course of the mile she will find out how they cope on a Monday morning - their idiosyncrasies, breakfast routines, alarm noises - and how, when they need to, find the motivation to kick-on through the week.  Dropping every Monday as a bitesize 20/25 minute piece of content and weekly dose of motivation - right when you need it - sharing some of Britain's greatest athletes' secrets on self-motivation, candid thoughts on what they struggle with and a sideways look at some of their more unusual morning habits. Head over to IG to watch the visuals of our episode and what we get up to on our Monday Mile. https://www.instagram.com/aimee_fuller/ Filmed + Produced by http://www.tommallion.com Update Description
